  I bought this as a gift for my parents for Christmas. After the research I had done on FM transmitters, I was leary. A similar product had good reviews, so I decided to take a chance. The sound quality is amazing. No static - even in Minneapolis they were able to find a clear station. I am going to buy one for myself as well!

  I really like this FM transmitter. I bought it to work with my iphone. It works perfectly, has plenty of stations, and was reasonably priced. The only thing I had a problem with was that I wished the cord was a little longer so you could put the iphone/ipod on the seat when charging or playing. For the money a great choice.

  I checked all the reviews of similar products and was discouraged. While some people liked one product or another - there were lots of negative comments about performance, static when starting the car with it in, and having to reset the frequency all the time.
  
  Then, I came across the reviews for this product. Just two reviews and from "non-technical" folks, but all was positive, so I took the leap.
  
  Good leap. It is well designed, works as described, holds the radio frequency that is set even when turned off, and is quiet when not in use.
  It does just what it is supposed to do and lets me hear clearly.
  
  A note - I use this with my Itouch to listen to training records - mostly talking. I can not comment on the quality for music listening.

  I bought this one because of the price and it works fine. It doesnt have the best sound quality but it isnt broken up or bad at all. Its just like listning to the radio instead of a cd. But I dont have but just the factory radio in my truck anyway so maybe in a good sound system it does sound alot better. Would buy again.

  This FM Transmitter not only allows you to play the ipod through the car radio it also allows you to charge your iPod. The LCD screen makes it sooooo easy to find a matching radio station with a weak signal. You tune your radio until you find a weak station then you press the up or down button on the transmitter to find that matching station. It also comes with a 3 year warranty. It is very light and compact so you can take with you anywhere. The reason you need to find a weak radio station is so that the transmitter doesn't compete with a strong signal. It is important not to hit the next button on the radio when searching, because that just brings you to the next strongest signal. Use the up or down button on the radio to find a frequency with a weak signal. By the way the PSL ( positive station lock) helps lock the transmitter to the station you have selected when moving around a busy city

  I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE SOME REVIEWS ARE VERY GOOD BUT WHEN I RECEIVED IT I FOUND A NOT GOOD PRODUCT, A LOT OF STATIC AND LOW VOLUME ALSO A LOT OF INTERFERENCE ALL THE TIME. HOPE SOMEONE INVENTS A GOOD FM TRANSMITTER FOR IPHONE.
  ITS BETTER TO USE AUX INPUT WITH A DIRECT AUDIO CABLE.
  
  
• Static, Crackle, Pop

  I thought I knew what to expect from almost any FM transmitter: mediocre sound quality, some interference here and there, and overall just an OK music experience. But this device even exceeded those expectations... and not in a good way.
  
  I like the design and the fact that it charges your iPod. I like the LCD display and that it's backlit. On the surface, the device has many good things going for it.
  
  However, when you actually try and play your music on it, you find that the quality of the music is poor. There's static, crackling, and popping (just like my title says! =D) And not only that but if your cigarette lighter is too far from the radio, it degrades the quality even more.
  
  Kinda makes me wish that cassette players still came in cars so I could just play it through that...
  
  
• Killed my iPhone

  PLEASE do not buy this product! The first product I was sent failed to work with my original iPhone, as was advertised. I was quickly issued a replacement item and that was guaranteed to work. However, the instant I plugged my iPhone into the replacement unit, the iPhone screen went blank and it got blazing hot. After 30 minutes, the iPhone was dead.
  
  My iPhone worked great for more than a year and this terrible product killed it.
