• Toy seems to be fragile, Difficult to fit 2 dolls, Carousel does not spin by itself.

  I bought this toy for my daughter for her 5th birthday. She loves the disney princesses and I thought it would be nice for her to have this. I also bought 2 disney princess dolls so she could put them inside the carousel part of the toy. I bought Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Immediately when I opened the box, I realized the toy was pretty fragile and looks like it can break easily. If you have kids that play rough, this toy may not last too long.
  
  I also noticed that the box said you could fit 2 dolls inside. While this is true, its a little hard to put the dolls inside, because they just fit perfectly.
  
  Finally, I was under the impression that the carraige part, or the carousel part would spin on its own perhaps by pushing a button. In reality, you have to push or move the horse and carousel and then it will spin around. There is also only one song that plays and it can be annoying after a child plays with the toy for a long time. My daughter also has to crawl along with the toy as she moves it along the floor for it to spin and play the music which isn't very comfortable for long so I don't think she will play with it for more than a few minutes at a time.
  
  Overall, my daughter does play with it and its an ok toy, but I wouldn't spend more than $10 or $15 for it.

  We got the musical carousels for my 4 year old and 2 year old for Christmas. They have not stopped playing with them since. While it's not educational in the traditional sense, it certainly does stimulate their imagination which I find to be just as important. It is definitely durable. They've been dropped, tipped, and stepped on (2 year old) and have come out on top, working perfectly. I would definitely recommend this toy.

  I bought my 4 year old the Disney Princess castle as well as this product for Christmas. While the Princess castle was very flimsily made, this product seems to be much more durable. I love that the horse has wheels on the bottoms of his feet so she can just pull the carriage. the song that plays when the carriage is pulled will probably drive you crazy, but completes that whole "princess" magic. Oh, and the horse's hair is sewn down to a piece of plastic and you have to cut the thread out...what a pain!

  I got this as a b-day gift for my 4 year old neice and she couldn't stop playing w/ it. She got about two dozen toys and this was one of her favorites. She loved dragging it all over the living room w/ her dolls in it and watching it spin. She played w/ it for hours. Right up until she went to bed. She hasn't had it long, but she dropped it on the tile many times w/o causing noticable damage. I got it on sale, but I'd say as much as my neice like it, its not worth much over $30.

  My four year old loves the way this carriage turns as the horse pulls it. I quickly became tired of hearing the jingle that plays when it is spinning (though she has not tired of it) but luckily there is an off button for the sound.

  By 2 year old received this as a christmas present. It is really cute. She loves pushing it around with or without the barbie doll(does not include the doll). The music can get a little annoying especially if your trying to have a converstion, but it's well worth it. She loves it. I've seen a lot of other toys around that are much more annoying that this. The only complaint I have is the packaging. They actually stitched the mane onto a piece of plastic. It was a total pain to get that off. It's bad enough that the toys these days come with 100's of twisty ties to undo, let alone sewing hair to a piece of plastic(who thinks of these things!) espeically when a 2 year old is anxiously waiting for you to put it together! She was very happy with the toy once we finally got it out of the box. Over all I would definatley recommend it.

  Tbis is so adorable. My daughter loves this. It actually spins, plays music and is really pretty. It is bigger than i thought. The footpeice keeps coming off, but it isnt a big deal. I do have to admit as the mom, the music gets to me after awhile, but that is because my daughter loves it so much she pushes it around constantly to hear the music. So i cant really complain!

  Bought this item for my daughter at Christmas, she loves this as it spins and plays music, she takes it all over the house. Loved the price at $13.99 and free shipping. Item is 29.99 in Walmart. Wish you had prices like this all the time but helps when it matters the most at Christmas.

  I bought this for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas. She is very into princess stuff. She absolutely loves it. One of the steps to the carraige falls of sometimes, but other than that, It's Great!!! And it came really fast!

  I bought several of these for my nieces for Christmas. The look on their eyes when they opened them was priceless. I didn't realize it, but the carriage swivvles in a circle when you push it forward. The girls just loved it. It's pretty to look at - just the right color combinations - and actually does something.

  We got this for our six year old daughter and she loves it. She plays with it very often, and loves to put her barbie's in the carriage to go for a ride. My 13 month old son also likes it, but she is not too happy about that. It's a good thing when you get a toy that your child actually plays with more than once!!!!

  My nieces (18months old & 3 years old) love ponies and princesses. This toy was perfect for them. They couldn't put it down after they opened it Christmas morning. Hands down their favorite gift. The horse detaches from the carriage, which is good because the carriage is a little tough to pull with the horse attached. (In actuality, the carriage is tough to PUSH with the horse attached. My nieces like to push the carriage rather than pull it.) Cute bonus: the carriage plays some sort of princess march music when it is pushed.

  My daughter received this as a Christmas gift and played with it a couple of days but the problem is the princesses do no fit inside the coach becuase their knees do not bend. Didn't take long for myn 3 yr old to lose interest and just play with the castle.

  It looks great but the kid cannot move the horse attached with the carousel.The horse remains stationary when the carousel spins slowly while the music plays.It would have been better if the horse could be moved along with the coach with the princess.

  I couldn't be happier with this set. I bought it on sale ($13) as a Christmas gift for a nice and wish I had bought more. It is easily worth the normal $26 price tag.
  
  First, the set is enormous, much larger than the picture makes you think. I wish they showed a Barbie in it to give a better feel. Secondly, it is beautiful, not gaudy like most of the newer sets. My favorite part is the simple mechanism that turns the carriage when you push the horse.
  
  I highly recommend this for in princess-in-training.

  I bought two of these for a set of four-year-olds having a carousel-themed birthday party, and they were a big hit. One carriage arrived damaged and the amazon.com online exchange process worked like a charm -- I had a new carriage in 2 days, just in time for the party, and two very satisfied little girls. These might be a bit annoying for adults because they play music, but for little people, they're magical.
