    (23 reviews)
Best Price: $13.99
SanDisk is proud to announce our newest format and capacity to the Ultra II SD card family: SD High Capacity (SDHC) 4GB card.To support the higher capacity needs, SD cards are now requiring a different design. The new SD 2.0 specifications - which supports 4GB and up - is called Secure Digital High Capacity(SDHC). The SD Association has created and defined 3 speed classes to help you identify speed and performance capabilities/minimum requirements of SDHC cards and their SDHC host products. Details on the SD 2.0 specification: http://www.sdcard.org or SanDisk.com/SDHC Cards address data (read and write) at numerous speeds. Many factors impede this performance. SDHC guarantees a minimum read and write speed necessary to handle recording high quality video and audio. The maximum card speed may vary, but you can always depend on SDHC cards to meet your SDHC host product's high quality performance requirements.

4Gb for an excellent price! By A3GAVYITUUK6LS on 2007-06-20
Excellent product! the other reviewer should have checked if his/her device supported this format. A product should not be given a low rating just because of the user's fault!
But indeed, check if your product supports SDHC before buying.
I'm using it in a Lumix DMC-LZ7K and so far no complaints. I really like to have so much capacity in a high speed card, so I don't have to worry about the memory card getting full so fast.
works like a charm -- good value for money By A1G0AXBP9X91Z4 on 2007-08-17
I use this card with my Nikon D80 DSLR and it is superb. As per the other user reviews, make sure your device can use SDHC (different than just SD) before buying this card, but if your device is compatible, this card is super. And 4GB for $50 is a good deal....
I bought mine with a usb adaptor, so it just plugs into my PC no problem
Excellent product By ADYBYXOCFC5J7 on 2007-11-27
This is an excellent card and works as advertised in supported devices. Consumers who aren't smart enough to check if their device is supported shouldn't hold their lack of knowledge against SanDisk. I own 28 SanDisk Ultra II cards (a mix of CF and SD) and they have all been flawless.
Fantastic Product! Fast Speed! By A1HSBVZX60VVXN on 2007-12-18
I wouldn't hold the prior post as having any merit. If you need a large capacity card and you have a SDHC compatible camera, this SanDisk 4.0 GB card performs flawlessly.

This is good product. The delivery was prompt. Amazon fufilled all my expectations.
- Big and Fast
     By A2KHHPGSGZA9YH on 2007-12-18
For a memory card it's big and fast, just what I need for my Canon G8 camera. So far so good.
- Perfect
     By A1IP8REI8A6M86 on 2008-01-27
This card is super fast with my Nikon d40 and can hold well over 1k pictures at 6 megapixels. i was going to get the extreme 3 2gb version, but in the end decided that having more memory was better. it's solid sandisk quality and plenty fast enough for any dslr. although you may want to get the extreme 3 version if working with video cameras.
- Not a genuine ULTRA II Sandisk card
     By AXYQRUCNY8EXD on 2008-06-23
Have been using this card for two months, it works well, no errors, no lost files, etc.
However, the advertised speed for SD Ultra II series is around 10MB/s reading and 9MB/s writing. This card does not go over 2.85 MB/s in either case. Additionally, it doesn't look like SD Ultra II 4GB shown on Sandisk.com.
At this price, I guess it is not a bad deal, however, it is as slow as my old 2GB No-name SD card.
- High Quality Bargain
     By A1FR68QH6Z4YZM on 2008-03-03
The Ultra III's are already out, so at this low price, it's a bargain. Get two, and it should last most people a full year of shooting. This is a very dependable SD card; it gets me 1000 photographs on my Lumix DMC-FZ50 at the 8 megapixel setting.
- Simply said - it works and it's a great bang for your buck!
     By A1MHTP0FBZI4GX on 2008-04-27
I got the card from Amazon, actually from one of the guys that sell thru Amazon. It came in time, well wrapped. I was happy!
Stuck it in my Canon camera - it worked great! A lot of room, super fast.
Stuck it in my computer's media card reader - nothing! Used my old card reader - nothing!
I guess this is the price for getting the new tech stuff - it doesn't always work with your old equipment. Oh, well... I went out to Radioshack and bought a ten bucks card reader for the new era SDHC cards. Now I am officially in and cool!
So, the bottom line is that if you want to use this card in older equpment, such as card readers, cameras and laptops - you might want to use smaller cards of the older kind.
Since I was ready to sacrifice for having a large card - five stars for the product. It does what it promises, no problems as of now.
- Plenty of space
     By A37LLXWSLE879D on 2008-01-21
I used this for a digital camera. The pictures and video come out very well. It holds plenty of pics, vids, and mp3s. great buy!!!!
- 4GB WOW
     By A1QQAMH19IG6YF on 2008-02-11
This is way more than what I need. But it's always good to have more than wanting more.
- Sandisk Ultra is quick!
     By AAGGN2T491NYF on 2008-03-21
I bought this card for use in a camera. It works really well and is fast! My SD slot on my laptop can't read it, however, I use a USB plug in card reader and all is fine.
- A steal at these prices!
     By A1VA76P0VGV3WX on 2008-06-06
However, if you're buying for a digital camera, or rather an older digital, make sure it can support more than 2.0gb...woops!
- Its better than Extreme 3
     By A1ZJC317XLCS8Y on 2008-06-22
I was trying to buy a 4gb Extreme 3 but i couldnt find one I already have 2 Extreme 3 each 2gb. This one gives me alot of space for my nikon D80's RAW pictures and i have had no problem with speed or any thing else since i had it . where as Extreme 3 is giving me alot of problems in transfering pictures from SD to my hard drive and i have called Sandisk 2 times as they say Extreme 3 has a life time warrenty but nothing has been done so far. Extereme 2 is the best deal if you want to have a problem free digital photography . The price is really good.
- Lightning Fast
     By A28YG8UEPKFF4L on 2008-07-07
I bought this card for my G9 and I am very impressed by what this little card can do.
The only other card I've used is the 8GB Extreme III, so I can't really say how much faster it is from other types, but I love the amount of storage and I found that burst mode was very effective with this card.
- Awesome
     By A1WLJJHABSRJPH on 2008-08-04
I bought these and they work perfect with my Nikon D80. I have never formatted them once and they work fine. I know photographers format all cards all the time before shoots, but I never have once and these are still going good. Never had one problem with them at all.
- Great for added memory....
     By AZFCTF4IP1UJE on 2008-03-26
My laptop is working great, I just wanted it to run faster, and using this ultra 4 gig card did the trick. I don't 'game' but do use heavy-usage software for my art - this has prevented software crashes - and am very pleased! I would highly recommend this for those needing a little boost to their laptop! At this price and its easy to install scenario - you can't go wrong - but can go only faster!
- SanDisk Ultra II 4.0 GB
     By A2D61K9RNTN4RT on 2008-04-14
Works just fine and gives you plenty of storage capacity. Also very cheap (relative to stores) if you buy it from someone who has it as bulk item in a static pack.
- great
     By A2HFS42TFJS9ZI on 2008-05-06
great card by sandisk. Fast enough to record 32 FPS 640x 480 video as well.
