My just turned 4 year old twins received the 48 piece pirate puzzle for their birthday "Pirate Party"...They ABSOLUTELY Love it!!!! the colors are bright and engaging and the pieces are so sturdy, not like the flimsy cardboard ones that bend and rip so easily. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!!!

This bundle is definitely worth the price. The puzzles are of really good quality. The pieces are a little stiff when you first pull them out but they go together perfectly after you losen them up the first time you do the puzzle. My daughter loves these two puzzles. The bright, fun colors are really nice as well. I wish I had more puzzles like these two. You really can't go wrong with "Melissa & Doug!"
great puzzles

we got these after our son mastered the 12 and 24 piece puzzles and was soon bored with them. after showing him how to put these together a couple of times he mastered these. he was only a little over 2 at the time. at 2 1/2 he still enjoys to take these out and put them together, usually faster than mom and dad can. so, even though the recommended age for these is 3 and up i think you can start earlier.

My daughter loves these puzzles! She plays with them every day to every other day and loves identifying which one is her favorite pirate and animal. I highly recommend these puzzles!

I always love Melissa & Doug products because of their durability and this two puzzle set doesn't disappoint!!
My 4 year old LOVES puzzles and had quickly graduated to 48 pieces, so we decided to give these a try. SHE LOVED THEM AND does them so quickly. We now need to move on to the next size. The pictures/colors are gorgeous and so different then all of the other puzzles out there.
Another great thing is that they are housed on a wooden board with a ridge and each piece is made out of wood. No more puzzle pieces being bent in half by her 2 year old brother! The best part is the fact that we are offered two 48 piece puzzles at this amazing price. The only con is that we purchased both sets and now there are no more.
Highly recommend because they are a wonderful value and will last for many years for other children.
