Best Price: $24.49

Jam Pack JAM is a hilarious game of precarious packing possibilities. In this high-energy challenge, you must race against the clock to pack the trunk of a toy car with fun objects of all shapes and sizes. When time runs out, the trunk "pops," sending everything out the door and filling the room with outrageous giggly laughter. Truck measures 9"L.

Jam Pack Jam from the award-winning Cranium offers hours of explosive fun! Recommended for kids ages six and up, this high-energy game is a race against the clock as players attempt to pack the trunk of a toy car before it pops open.

How to Play
An interesting twist on high-intensity children's games, Jam Pack Jam is a cross between a 3-D puzzle and a beat-the-clock board game. It only takes two people to play -- but more can join in the fun.

Try to pack the trunk with as many fun and wacky items as possible. View larger.
Unlike many games that aim at specific skill sets, this Cranium game creates positive excitement for all kids. The object of the game is simple -- to fit as many fun items as possible, of all shapes and sizes, into the trunk before time runs out. On each turn, players say the number of objects they think they can precariously pack. When time's up, the trunk shoots everything out the doors -- filling the room with laughter.

Everything -- Even the Kitchen Sink
With 14 hilarious objects you'd find in a cartoon, Jam Pack Jam includes a birthday cake, a cactus, a skateboard, even a kitchen sink. Made with durable plastic, the car and the trunk items are child-safe and can stand up to long hours of play -- and all the explosions! The game also comes with 35 cards and a score pad.

  • Jam Pack Jam is loads of fun!

    By A1W8WFUHR75BCJ on 2007-11-07
I bought this toy as a gift for my 4 year old for him and his 6 year old brother to play. Well, the entire family got in on the action and it was lots of fun. The car is durable, but make sure you keep the enclosed bag for the cards and the items to pack or else.... Not a superior learning game but it does require some concentration and fine motor skills to pack all of the items in the trunk before time runs out. Overall, I would recommend this toy! It got lots of laughs on a rainy day.

I bought this last night for my kids and they had a blast! My 2 year old has already lost some of the parts, so we will be searching for them tonight. I am really pleased with this game, it will be fun for the whole family!

Being a big fan of Cranium products, I bought this game for my 8 year old for her birthday and WOW! it brought everyone from 5 years old to 65 to the table and/or floor to stuff the parts in the trunk before the time ran out! great fun and laughs! love that there is a bag for all parts. the kids made up versions of the game within days, and then used the van and parts for pretend play as well. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

  • Fun Game

    By A2ROMPO5DLKIRP on 2007-12-10
My whole family has enjoyed this game. Within minutes of taking it out of the box, we had it on the table and playing our first game. My 13 year olds comments about before i bought it was, "that game looks stupid, all you do is put the pieces in." He has enjoyed it just as much as my 6 year old. It is setup to be challenging enough for a 6, 13, or 38 year old. The game plays in about 20 minutes, and there is never a dull moment. Like the other reviewer said, make sure and keep the enclosed zip lock bag, for the pieces. I am going to purchase a small plastic storage box to keep it in.

  • Good idea but Cranium could have done better

    By A9ZGO6DGN4SK2 on 2007-12-30
Got this game for the family for christmas. The idea is a good one but I think the makers fell short of "completing" the game which could have been alot better. After one game we found out that it would be more fun if we added to the game. We gave different point values (1, 2, and 3) to each piece and gave a bonus if you were able to use all of your cards. This made the game more competitive and fun for everyone. in our first game you would see us shying away from the bg yellow chair and in the second game when it was worth 3 points and a possible bonus we got creative on how to use it.

I think the inventors dropped the ball on what a really good game this could have been. Once we altered it, it was alot of fun!

  • Broken right out of the box
    By A8YGTSGHBOYAT on 2007-12-27
My car was broken with an electrical problem that heated up the batteries to a hot to the touch temp within the first 15 minutes of trying to get the thing to work. Glad I persisted in troubleshooting before the kids got a hold of the game. This toy was destined to melt or worse had the kids been cut loose on the toy before a parent could look it over. Parents beware!! YIKES!

  • Give us a box!!
    By AOCJDMMUVE2X6 on 2007-12-26
Well it is Christmas and I didn't see any type of zip lock back to store all of these pieces in. I had thought that all of the pieces would fit into the car and they do not. I can't imagine Cranium making a game without some sort of storage container. The game really is too easy and my 9 year old got bored easy with it so we made up our own rules and made it more fun.

  • Broken?
    By A1AWGB0HH0VFLQ on 2007-12-27
My 5 year old got this toy for Christmas. She was excited to get it, but right from the box we couldn't understand the excitement of the game. Maybe ours is broken? The trunk doesn't pop out every time. Maybe only 4 out of 10 times it actually works. Otherwise, it just starts over telling us to push the button to start packing. I am not impressed with the game. I also think for the amount of money paid, it should come with it's own storage system. Right now we have it stored in an old shoe box. Right now we have plans to return the game and pick out something different.

  • fun for everyone

I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas. She wasn't that excited about it just seeing it in the box, but once I got her to play she hasn't wanted to stop! We have played it several times a day for the past 3 days and she doesn't seem to get bored with it. It is one that I don't mind playing over and over again with her, and it doesn't take long to play. It is alot of fun for the whole family.

  • An updated version of "Perfection"
    By ACD6L62LJ2FQ9 on 2007-12-28
I bought this game because it reminded me of the old game Perfection. Indeed, my four year old likes racing against the clock to fit the different items in the trunk of the SUV. I just wish more items could actually fit. It is fun, but the variations of the game are limited by the amount of space in the trunk (so only so much will ever fit). My son has adapted the game by trying to fill the trunk, then place as much as he can on the roof. It keeps him occupied and happy, so no problem there! I do think the educational value of the toy (spatial relations, etc.) is less than the toy manufacturer would want you to think, but it wasn't the main reason I bought it so that fact doesn't personally bother me.
