• A Great Game To Play With Your Kids

  My kids received this gift last Christmas and they love this game. They are 2 and 5 and both enjoy it equally as much. The music is catchy and fun. The 4 different gaming areas are all cute and challenging. Your child will practice fine motor skills, counting, and shape matching all while having a blast. I highly recommend this game!

  This is a great game all around! There are 4 different activities in the carnival, and a timer so you don't get too caught up trying to master one. There are wonderful educational aspects to it, but it's so much fun, your kids won't even realize they are learning.
  
  First is the frog jumping, a bit like ants in the pants. This one takes a little motor skills, but how much fun to have frogs jumping all over the table!
  
  Next is the fishing game, you use a magnetic fishing pole to fish out letters and try to spell the word on the flip book. My 5 yr old loves this one, it is fun and it helps build spelling and word recognition.
  
  Then there is the matching dice game (my favorite) You pour the dice into the shack and try to make matches of different carnival foods. Great for children and fast paced enough to make them learn to look quickly and choose.
  
  Last is the spinner game where you have to keep spinning the four sections to make different under the sea characters. This one is great for matching pictures (a bit like a puzzle) and fun because of the silly creations you may end up making. Such as a scuba diver with octopus legs.

  We bought this for Christmas for our 7 and 3 1/2 year olds. Now the one thing you must know is that we also purchased a Wii, so we knew that anything we got was going to be up against some stiff competition. Believe it or not, Cranium Balloon Lagoon has been the game that they've wanted to play the most aside from the Wii!
  
  It's an excellent game - not only for the educational activitis, but because it's so different than any other board game I've seen. You don't move your character around a board, you just hang onto it. You spin the spinner in the middle and have to do whatever task you land on. From fishing for letters to trying to match pictures, this game is entertaining for the whole family!

  I purchased this game for my two daughters - ages 9 and 7 - they both love it. I have also enjoyed playing with them. The game does require setup time each time you play but it is very simple to put together and does take but a couple of minutes. I will be buying several for gifts.

  We had a great time with this game. My 4 year old can do each thing, but it's still a bit of a challenge--that's what makes a game fun, right? His only hang-up is he thinks the color you sit in front of is "you". When Dad spins the merry-go-round and it lands on blue where Son is sitting, he thinks it's his turn instead of "it's Daddy's turn to do the blue activity". A lazy-susan style table would be great for this game for sure. Everyone is either getting up and moving or getting their knees whacked moving the little game table (we have a little table with 4 inch legs for board games and legos, etc.).

  I have a five year old, and he loves it! It is the only game that he wants to play over and over again. It is great because the game is easy enough for him to play with his friends without constant parent instruction. I do have to admit the "timer music" will get on your nerves but small price to pay for your child's enjoyment.

  This is the first "family game" that I have bought, now that our kids are 5 and 3 1/2. We have had fun playing this game as a family. It is easy to set up (even my kids can do it), the concept is great, and a fun time was had by all! There are several small pieces, so my aim is not to lose so many that the game isn't playable. However, my kids have been known to get the game out, set it up, and play it between just the two of them. I am a former teacher, so I also like the educational aspect of it. Well done and well worth the money!!!

  This game is so much fun that our 3 year old granddaughter wanted to bring it home to her house to keep. But nope, she has lots of games at her house, and it will be something else for her to look forward to coming to ours. Highly recommended.

  My son received this for a 5 year old birthday party gift and loves it. Actually my 3 1/2 year old son probably plays with it more, so it definitely works for the 3-6 year age range. The games moves quickly amongst the 4 activities provided so the kids don't get bored with a long wait. The game is durable and holds up well. My kids love to play with it at least once/wk and it is fun for something different from your usual board games.

  My kids received this from Santa last year. We have actually played with it several times. My now six year old has done really well it. My two year old plays along the best she can. The only complaint would be the box. It's not set up really well for storage. My youngest get a hold of it and the balloon things were all over the house so you have to work a bit at keeping it together. They do include some bags, which we've used. I'll probably just put it all in my own see-through plastic container for storage.
