  I bought the Belkin bag that matches this mouse pad, too. Both are very nice. Well made and easy to use. Very pleased with the color choice, too. I think both products are much nicer than some of the other items I have seen. Derfinitely happy with both!

• Good, but not great

  A very pleasing color scheme and a roomy pocket and mousing surface are the high points here. The rubberized rings on the back to keep the unfolded mouse pad in place are close to useless, however (they are plenty grippy but the pad is too light for them to be effective), and the thing needs to be flattened a good deal before you get a level surface. The snap handle is a nice touch, though; you can hang it off your bag if you are in a hurry. I just wish it would latch a bit tighter.
  
  In all, a decent travel pad for the money that can provide extra storage in a pinch.

  I bought this mouse trap pad to go with my Belkin messenger bag. One obvious plus is that it matches the bag in style and color. I use it constantly to carry my mouse as it just doesn't fit in the bag well. My mouse has a roller ball so I don't use the mouse trap as a mouse pad but I can see that this may be hard to get to lay flat. Since it is advertised as a mouse pad, I took away one star for this reason. For my use, I love it.

  There is room for your cordless mouse, any miscellaneous cords you have and BONUS, we love the mousepad feature. It lays flat, there is a small rubber/grippy/non slip ring on the brown side to keep it put. Zipper is smooth. Great buy

  Functional, smart and great looking. The snap on loop allows you to carry on the outside of your bag if needed but your mouse remains protected because of the padding. There is a "gripper ring" on the bottom to stay put when used as a mouse pad. Plenty big enough to carry a regular/large sized mouse with a cord - not just for the compact wireless ones - as well as a flash drive, iPod, pen, etc. I selected this along with the coordinating computer bag. What a great set.

  So cute! Practical, too. The mouse and my pen fit inside and they get tossed into computer bag. Keeps mouse safe and pen handy. It's a house for the mouse.

• Good for travel, not for regular use

  Pros:
  -Nice way to carry your mouse
  -Surface works well an optical mouse
  
  Cons:
  -Not stiff enough for using on anything but on top of a table
  -Zipper stays up after opening it, creating a small lip that can be annoying (you can't flip it over and use the other side due to a piece of plastic that is glued on to prevent the pad from slipping)
  -Little tab/carry handle is useless and gets in the way
  
  While the carry handle is not that big a deal, the other cons are fairly annoying and why I gave it such a low rating. Since the material has no stiffness to it, it can really only be used on top of a table or other hard surface, which you could do without the pad using an optical mouse. And the little lip that the zipper creates makes it uncomfortable for continuous use (essentially, the zipper attached to a separate piece of fabric, which is then attached to the pad surface. This piece of fabric is sewn basically backwards which makes it stand up when the pad is laid down like it is supposed to. This makes the pad look nicer when it is zipped up, but I would preferred it sewn the other way. I have tried to flatten it out with a heavy book, but after leaving it under the weight for several weeks it only helps a bit).

  This is a great mousepad. It's small, lightweight, and portable and protects your mouse all at the same time. I love that it has a "grip pad" circle on the bottom to keep it from moving on slippery surfaces.

  hi,i own this travel mousepad and the optic minnie mouse.i love both.the pad goes everywhere i go.it does great on the arm of my couch.i have a nerve problem in my shoulders and can't hold my arms up for a extended time.this pad and the minnie mouse works like a charme for me.the minnie mouse glows different colors and it fits right in the palm of my hand witch works great for me.i couldn't find the mouse anywhere and had to call belkin direct.it was a little bit more for the price and shipping but not a big concern.now that amazon has both the mouse house and the computer bag in the color i have (chocolate and tourmelene) i wish i could have held out,but all things considered i'm glad i have them.i will get the bag soon and i will get here from amazon.their prices are better than some and sometimes you n get a big discount on the price and the shipping.hope this helps,faye

  This is a great set (mouse pad and laptop case)! I love the look, it's lightweight and the colors are great. The travel mouse pad is wonderful because it fits right in the laptop case or can be clipped on, and you can fit your mouse and other small items in side. Great product.

  Unfortunately I haven't gotten to really use it because my wireless mouse has not come in yet but I love this case. I thought for sure that it would not work as a mouse pad as well but it really does. It unfolds and keeps the shape of a mouse pad very well. It has a no-slip grip on the bottom. Awesome product. I get lots of comments about it in my bag. Can't wait to put something in it!!
  
  
• Good mouse protector

  I have found that this bag is better for protecting the mouse and usb connector than actually serving as a mouse pad. This is mainly due to the crease down the middle. Belkin should make something cylindrical with no creases that can be unrolled and remain smooth. I do like though that I have a nice matching pouch to keep my mouse in.

  My Mom came for a visit and brought this interesting gadget with her: The Mouse Trap. I was so fascinated by it that I ordered one immediately for myself. It is a great thing to have especially if you have a laptop and use it in various places. It's a real nice material and folds up like a pouch. When it is folded up you can put your mouse in there and anything else you can fit. In mine, I have my mouse, pens and pencils and a few of my memory cards for quick access. You unzip it when you use it and it is then your mouse pad. When it is unfolded, it has a ring on the bottom part (the part you put on the surface) that acts as a grip so you are not sliding all over the place while using your mouse. This item is a must have and I am so glad that I purchased it!

  Was just reading about this and I thought it was a clever idea. So I bought one that matched my Belkin Neoprene laptop sleeve. I must say that I really like this product. The idea of having your mouse pad wrapped around your mouse is great. And it has some anti-slide stuff on the outside that keeps it from sliding all over when it's being used as a mouse pad.   I love this mouse pad. It has a nice size (I have a regular sized optical mouse, not one of those micro mice) and it fits perfectly. It takes a couple of minutes for the pouch to flatten after you open it, but I don't find that to be a problem. Also, it has a ring of an adherent material on the brown side so the pad does not slide while you use it, and for me it works great. I think its a great combination of concepts. I carry my mouse and my jump drive and other stuff in it Great product (and nice colors)

  I really like this product! Nice colors, well-designed and seems to be constructed well. The grippy pads on the bottom hold just fine on most surfaces. The carrying ring is a nice feature (although the snap feels a little loose). The zipper works smoothly and has a nice feel to the pull mechanism.
  
  There are only a couple of things that bug me, but it wouldn't stop me from buying again. The pocket seems just a tad small for my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 -Slate, especially when I leave the USB wireless receiver in its carrying spot on the bottom of the mouse. I'm concerned that over time it will stretch or allow extra wear at the places where the Mouse Trap stretches to accomodate my mouse. The other thing is that when open, the Mouse Trap doesn't lay completely flat, particularly on one side which is kind of strange.
  
  Overall, great product, and I do recommend! Keeps me from beating up my mouse by tossing it in my backpack, and for digging around and searching for it the next time I need to use it.
