Mobility and the iPod are two magnificent partners. You can move here, there, and everywhere to listen to music, view videos (where applicable), and view photos. But power is limited. Take Turbo Charge TBA650 Reusable Portable Charger for iPod and some AA alkaline batteries with you. Two AA batteries will completely charge your iPod up to 3 times. That's definitely more mobility.

An excellent companion for your iPod =)

I bought this little marvel for my new iPod Classic 80GB... I saw this and tought it would be great for when I'm travelling, in the beach or out for some photoshoot... And I was right man!
I use this with some 2100 Ni-mh and It recharges my iPod without any problem and really fast... about 80% charge in a mere 15 minutes... and you can even charge while the iPod is working. I haven't got into how many charges can it make per a couple of AA's... but with the Ni-Mh's at least 4 or 5.
Let me do you a favor: do no hesitate, just buy it... is trully amazing (and let's face it... is pretty cheap ah?)

I wrote a review of the cell-phone turbo charger - I had issues, with the process, not the product. This item is great and it really does work. Recently I was on a long trip and used it to continue watching movies on my IPod Classic. The actual charger is the same for the cell phone and IPod. If you have one, you just need to order the adapter for the other. (IPod classic takes adapter TA202).

This product is designed poorly; I've accidentally left it on because of the crappy switch so many times. The off position is between the charging position and a flashlight position. It has gotten to the point where i can't even put the thing in my pocket without worrying about the switch being lightly bumped and turning on.
Also, when its charging, several bright blue lights turn on- a huge waste of my batteries. Sure, it tells you how much battery power you have left, but this feature could be much smaller, and not waste all the power. This was a mistake buy, and I've stopped using the product for these reasons.
great charger

after i bought a griffen ipod charger which uses the 9volt batteries which broke i saw this one, bought it, and it works great
uses 2 AA batteries (a lot easier to come by than 9V) and keeps my ipod going
the connector can detach from the unit itself too, so i dont have to worry about bending it and possibly messing up the wires
only complaint about it is the switch, toward the plug is to turn on LED lights, middle is off and reverse is charge. it slips between the three too easily, ill have it in my pocket in off, and when i pull it out to use it, its in the charge setting or has the LED lights on (but since they're LEDs, they dont drain much power so its fine, just annoying)
other than that, its great

This charger works great -- it is ideal for long flights to make sure you can keep watching movies on your video iPod or iPod touch / iPhone. Works as advertised.

I used this on a recent trip to Nigeria. Not only did it charge my iPod consistently, it comes with a flashlight on it, which was really handy. If you are traveling to a remote area, one that is tough to get steady power, or just don't want to mess with adaptors overseas, this charger is a great addition to your travel gear. I'm not going to travel again without it.

Great emergency charger for your ipod. The only reason It doesn't get 5 stars is because it can easily slip on or off by accident. (such as being in your pocket) Other than that, a sleek charger that works well at charging my 30GB Black video ipod

It works well but it's mainly something that you just want to keep in your backpack or bag or whatever. It charges it to full capacity but it doesn't seem to last quite as long as if I charge it at home. It's great though, and the flashlight is pretty bright.
The little switch does get flipped fairly easy like most people are saying. I just keep one of the batteries in backwards and that is fine for me. I would definitely recommend this product.
