Teton Suspension System! By A3E8M6BEQWGCI8 on 2008-02-29
I decided to order this Teton (designed by Coleman) backpack based on the glowing reviews seen here and I have to agree with them all.
There's so much room to rent in this bag that you can lose items within it without even knowing the items are in there. I'm talking of items such as a DVD or even a CD wallet! It's roomy and it expands! It includes straps to keep it all securely tied together. It has super heavy duty zippers like I have never seen before in my 50+ years.
The "Suspension System" is an unusual feature in backpacks which I was curious about. Mystery revealed, at the top of both of the backstraps, is a system constructed of a piece of strong elastic and nylon strap. The elastic will stretch slightly when the backpack is subjected to a heavy load and jolts such as when walking down stairs. The nylon strap which accompanies the elastic will not stretch, so this will limit the amount of stretch in the elastic! Genious! I like it.
This is such an amazing backpack, and I am so happy with this purchase, that I want to look for things around the house and neighborhood to carry in this bag! You'll find it fun and comfortable to carry all of your stuff around in it too!
P.S. This backpack in black or red is currently $24, but in blue is $12. I like the blue one!
Excellent Backpack, Low Cost By A33XGCKZ4AJNMX on 2007-09-25
I was pleasently surprised to see how well constructed this bag is. It has tons of space for just about anything. For such a value price, I was shocked to see how well this bag stands up. It even boasts some comfort features like the soft padding in the shoulder bands and a suspension system to take weight off of your shoulders. Excellent Bag especially for such a cheap price!
Great bag for money By A1CIGMN879NSA on 2007-11-05
I am able to carry my laptop in the bag along with probably 15-20 DVD's it is spacious and works great! Comfortable straps make carrying a laptop so much easier than a briefcase style bag!
Rough and Touch.! By A2ALL004ILK87I on 2008-03-28
We have been through 3 backpacks this year. Each one we buy has fallen apart. I have a son, who likes to run, jump and play. He's 9 and his backpacks take a beating. I ordered this one because of the price, since we seem to go through so many. I am REALLY impressed. This is a heavy duty bag, it is standing up to my Sons daily use and abuse perfectly. We have only had it for a couple of months but it still looks new. I also love the suspension straps on each side of the bag. Perfect for smaller lockers, so you can cinch it in and make it smaller yet its easy to adjust for when he has more stuff to carry. It is also easy enough to adjust that my son does it on the fly. Great bag, if your on the fence about getting it..I highly recommend it.

This backpack is an excellent buy for the price. I am so pleased with it.
You can spend more if you like but why? This pack does it all for me.
- I was not impressed except for Shoulder Suspension.

This may be useful for school kids. Probably not recommended for Laptop. Not well designed for office use. For Gym or camp or vacation might be OK. Also the separating walls between compartment are thin nylon clothlike. Probably if you spill in one compartment very easy to sip through other compartment. Also the Main compartment Zipper comes all the way down till bottom. So compartment strength depends on how good are Zippers. The shape narrows at the top. So if you want to carry document they will fold at the top. No water bottle compartment. Probably I will check out Swiss Gear Backpacks. I won't say this is 5 star. Not for office going adults. But looking at price may be worth buy. Shoulder suspension elastic is good. If that is available in swiss gear, go for Swiss Gear backpacks. Like Maxxum or Rival.
- Very nice!

This bag is fantastic .Bought it for our grade school kid and she loves it.Very well made, nice and sturdy, given the way she goes through book bags, this one I'm positive will last for years to come. The low price makes it even better.Very high quality like the ones you find in the outdoor sports shops for hiking and camping but for half the cost.Even considering buying a few more!
- Great small backpack for day to day use
     By A3I49HMI4LV6HU on 2008-06-20
I ride transit daily to and from work and bought this to replace an old backpack which was starting to wear out.
This is not a huge backpack, and I have larger ones I take to the grocery store for large loads but this more than adequately totes the daily junk I need to transport. I successfully managed to fit a large widescreen laptop in it but nothing any larger would be a decent fit. Hold a six pack and a few convenience items for that quick convenience store stop on the way home.
There are two large main pockets which if combined would probably give you more capacity but it does a nice job of giving you a space for your newspaper in one while giving the cargo space for a laptop, light jacket or whatever else you need in the other. The front pocket has places for pens and you can organize aspirin, tissues or other daily need items in there without it getting terribly cluttered. There is one really small pocket on top of this which I have not found too much use for but might be handy for something (if you can fit your hand in there).
The straps are very comfortable and most impressive about this bag. The suspension strap seems to help a bit with heavier loads but mostly I like the comfortable padding which has a breathable fabric to help keep you from getting sweaty under the straps which was often a problem for me with my old backpack.
I would definitely recommend this over some of the more popular and well known bags such as JanSport. The cost is much less and the quality is excellent.

Excellent quality bag. Bought this for my 6th grader. She absolutely loves it . Lots of room for all the things she has to carry to school. This is an excellent buy for the price
- good backpack
     By AACFJQQWQPPBI on 2008-03-14
This is a very good backpack, and you can't beat the price. It's sturdy, good quality. The only way it could be improved would be to add a mesh to hold water bottles. I am very pleased with this purchase.
- Excellent for low cost
     By A2H743Y1VXXRU5 on 2008-04-23
It was like 15 dollars and the quality is as good as my friend's North Face ones and Jansport. I totally recommend and have been raving about to my friends for a while now. The straps are comfortable. There are also straps made to adjust the load that is carried which i find useful when i carry light loads so the things don't fall awkwardly to the bottom of the bag because of all the space. I totally recommend this bag.
- its a Steal for the deal

I got this item for college stuff, i already have a big hefty laptop bag, but i dont carry my laptop everyday, so was looking for a small, light bag for everyday use and this is it.
--Pros:
- light weight
- sturdy
- excellent quality zippers,
- plenty of space, i can actually carry my 15.4" laptop in here too
- looks trendy
- has shoulder suspension
- has a belt to squeeze the bag if u dont have it filled completely, making it easy for carrying
- the best part, its cheap (i got blue one for 12.99 shipped)
-- Cons:
- none actually, only thing i found missing was a water bottle net on the outside.. but thats not a big deal for me..
I totally recommend this bag for school/college going crowd.

I bought this back pack a few months on sale and it's been wonderful. I've used it as my son's diper bag as well as my carry-on for airplane trips. It holds tons of stuff and is comfortable to wear!

This has been very good -almost perfect for my daughter - the only thing is missing is the place holder for the bottle
- Did the job.
     By A73ONR4EAQTEB on 2008-06-04
Went on a 10 day trip and needed to carry a moderate amount of stuff. It worked fine and once I remembered which compartment I put stuff in it was great. The compartments are great, however, it is just remembering how to use them. It could use an external bottle carrier for water etc., but that is about all.
- well... if you like backpacks, this is one.
     By A2BZ4WAQ4P1N59 on 2008-08-01
it's a bag. a cheep bag. it has tons of pockets (maybe to many pockets) and extras (some of which I'm not really sure what they do). i cut off most of the tassels that come on the zippers. and one or two large compartments instead of three smaller compartments would have been nice. but, it's tough. and for the price, i cope with the down sides to it. mostly use it while on my bike and it's pretty comfortable.
- Amazing backpack

This backpack looks great, has a ton of room in it, and is durable. I highly recommend it.
- Sturdy, roomy, and inexpensive!
     By APIKTASBEEWUR on 2008-08-20
This backpack is perfect for me. I needed a bag that could hold schoolbooks and my large, heavy, widescreen laptop, but wasn't $80. This bag honestly seemed too good to be true, at less than $20 for the blue/grey color. I received it today; it holds my laptop, a thick programming book, and a couple of notebooks with ease, yet it doesn't have a huge presence on my back (doesn't seem as large as it is). Very comfortable, sturdy straps that stand up to the weight I will be carrying on a regular basis. Lots of little compartments that may or may not turn out to be useful. Definitely a good deal!
