I don't glue anything to my LCD

It says glass, but it feels like plastic and is no clearer than the protector that comes with the D200, but that's not the real problem. The screen attaches directly to the LCDs of the camera with some sort of adhesive. The instructions that come with the product say to remove the product by blasting it with a hair dryer at 2" distance form the LCD for 30 seconds, but, "Do not overheat, and be cautious of not injuring your hand."
There is no way I will glue a piece of glass or plastic to the LCD of my expensive camera, especially when there is little benefit not already provided by the protector that comes with the camera.

THE PRODUCT IS TOO THIN AND BRITTLE...TAKING IT OUT OF THE PACKAGE THE PRODUCT BROKE IN HALF...WHAT KIND OF PROTECTION FOR A $3000 CAMERA SYSTEM IS THAT???
