  Very glad I chose this combo unit since I've had problems with some negatives when using the 10x only. Don't know why anyone would spend triple the money when this has great clarity and so easy to use.

  I first bought this lens for myself then after using it I purchased 10 of them to distribute amidst my geology students. it is a good and affordable product for students, it has both lenses 10x and 20x. So we don't need anything else.

  With both a 10x and 20x magnifying loupe built into one small, easily handled device, this jeweler's loupe comes in handy. Even though it's made in China it seems to work well and the lenses seem to be good quality. Very good purchase for the price if you need something like this for examining jewelry or for other hobbies.

  I have a number of loupes and magnifiers, and this is better than some but nothing I'd really recommend. It's neat to have the 20x, but the whole thing is so small, I find it more frustrating than useful most of the time.
  
  Unless you really and truly need the dual lens factor, or are buying this as a fun gadget/spare lens, get the BelOMO 10x instead.
  
  This could also be a neat giftie, again for its gadget factor, for someone who has one or more good basic loupes. I'd definitely put it higher on the "nifty looking toy" chart than on the "good lens" one.

  This jewelers loupe is a great product. It is well made, reasonably priced, and very versatile. The two magnifiers in the same compact device are ideal. And the case is small enough to easily carry in your pocket. The 10X and separate 20X lens are perfect to bridge the gap between my 5X magnifier and my 30X portable,lighted microscope.

  This is a nice product, especially for the price, but it is smaller than I expected. In addition, I tried to order 5 for stocking stuffers and only received 1. I tried again to order 4 and only received 1. I finally realized that the postage is how the profit is made and you can't get more than one at a time.

• 10x-20x maginification lens review

  Dear Consumer,
  This product is a good choice for a very hardy lens. The best things about this product are:
  - It comes with a nifty little case, which is very nice for keeping the lens clean and scratch free
  - Duel lens provide the best possible magnification for the object being viewed
  - very heavy and hard to break. Not that Ive tried, but I know that if I drop it, it wont shatter
  
  Now, the only thing I do not like about this product is the loose folding lenses. The mechanism for the lenses are loose, and the lenses tend to wobble and swing around. This can become a problem, but it tends not to be a problem if you are holding the lens the proper way. However, the lenses stay under the protective surface very well, but wobble when out like during use...
  
  Other than this, I would recommend this for any use for magnification.
  I use mine for geologic examination, and will continue to do so until it falls apart on the job. A great little tool.

• Great product for a Geologist

  I am a graduate student in Geology and was looking for a field lens to identify minerals with. This product was a great option because of the dual powers it contained, and it was also several dollars less than 10X lens of what I feel were lesser quality. Shipping was quick and the entire transaction was simple to complete.
  
  I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a field lens or just a general purpose, rugged piece of lab equipment.

  Bought one of this from Amazon for examining my pocket watches. The loupe is made of good quality lens. The 20x is very small though. Other than that, it is a great magnifier. Shipping is fast.

  This works fantastic, i dont use it for jewels persay but it has def helped with my geology classes and my botany classes, the 20X really allows you to see close up bud scales and the 10X allows for times when being that close isnt always what you need a great buy, you should buy it too

  For the price you can't beat these. Well made and fairly clear. The lenses are on the small side but that is part of the what your buying with this type of loupe.

  Magnifier is very good for price. Quality is exceptional. The lenses are great, and allows for higher magnified images. Great for plant biology, geology, mammalogy, and any other topics that requires close up observations.
  
  I think it might require some buffing after handling because of the oils on the hand. But other than that, great tool!

  It's quite small, but also quite powerful. Even comes in its own little case. It's a great product, especially for the price. You aren't limited to just using this item on gemstones. It's great for wanting to have a closer look at just about anything.

  I got this to show rock details to fellow hikers in the Rocky Mountains. It more than meets my expectations. It is a great pocket magnifier and light weight so no problem to carry or keep close at hand on the trail. Then there's the price--wow, what a bargain.

  This is a great little double loupe/magnifier. It has a solid feel to it, with finished edges, very nicely manufactured. Nice clear high quality distortion-free lenses. It even comes in a cute little plastic case that's good for storage, but not the type you will want to carry it around in. The price is almost ridiculously low; Just hold this in your hand and use it for a minute and you'll know this is a great bargain, and a device you'll want to use often and keep forever.

  You can pay more for the same item on Ebay; buying it on Amazon is less expensive both for the item and the shipping cost. I first bought a 30X magnifier and found it difficult to see through. The 10X magnification is what jewelers typically use, and I'm more able to view through this. Both sides fold in compactly, and the lenses are glass. I bought this to see flaws/inclusions in my jewelry, and it will work fine for that purpose.

  who sells on ebay and whose eyesight isn't good enough to find small flaws in glassware and ceramics. They look good, work fine, she seems to be very pleased with them. She also likes the little plastic box they came in also. Says it keeps them from getting scratched in her handbag and make them easier to find. You certainly can't argue with the price, and with no shipping? Makes them almost a steal.

  The item with dual lenses is a big help in field work. As an archaeologist, when you are out in the field you don't have a microscope with you. You actually need to have as little as possible with you since carrying a lot of equipment is not a good idea. Dual ended Jeweler's loupe really is worth it.

  This loupe is great for the price that you will pay for it. I have used it to find maker's marks on jewelry. It is small enough to put in your pocket to take to antique stores to get a better look at the items you might want to buy. It is also wonderful for looking at stamps and coins. Having the 10X and 20X power on one loupe is so much easier than trying to use two different loupes. I would highly recommend this product to anybody who needs to buy an inexpensive loupe.
