Corrects posture, relieves upper back pain By A2XSD1D9CHLJGX on 2008-01-02
I purchased this to relieve a burning pain in my upper back because of my poor posture. This product does help to hold your shoulders back and keep you in proper posture to alleviate the pain. Make sure you get the proper size. If you are unsure get the larger size. If this is too tight it will roll up and chafe your underarms.
good product, great customer service By A3AETZ729P3PZT on 2008-02-05
This brace pulls my shoulders back. It gently compresses my lower back which relieves strain and reminds me to keep my back straight. You can still bend against the brace, so if you want something really stiff, this is not it. Underworks provides great customer service. I ordered the wrong size, so I emailed and phoned Underworks directly (per Amazon's instructions). Underworks answered right away, changed the item size on the spot, and then processed the order, all without me having to cancel and resubmit order through Amazon.
posture corrector back support brace By A35MX5X40ZR0IL on 2007-08-04
I found this Underworks back supporter to be an excellent air to posture correction.
It is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Posture Corrector- True to word By A23L6K1NZ5YMF5 on 2008-02-20
I first had to exchange mine for a larger size (customer service is VERY helpful!), but it fits very comfortably, makes me sit up straight, and doesn't rub too much. Advice:women, wear it with a comfortable bra, or sports bra. I don't wear mine for a lot of activity, so make sure you get the size that is right. Too big is better than too small.
Jim's review By A1ZI0XYU4SJE45 on 2008-04-28
The product arm straps cut into the arm pit area leaving bruising and redness. The bottom tends to roll up and double over on itself.
- Sizing is wrong
     By A2MPEEXFLKE92P on 2008-04-14
I have an extremely small frame, I can buy shirts in the 'girls' section, but the small must be for a preteen girl.
- Well constructed, poorly fitting
     By A26YDI1UV8F0N9 on 2008-07-20
This product is very well constructed, but there is no way to adjust the overall length of the brace. If you are petite, you may get a good fit in the waist, but the posture trainer will not train because it is too loose! If you really still want this item, check the Underworks site directly (www.underworks.com) and see if shipping is less there (it was when I ordered).
I am still looking for a product that will assist with my posture correction. I suspect that I will need a posture correction device ONLY, without the added back support benefit.
Customer service for this garment is fine (not excellent as someone else mentioned) if you can get ahold of anyone at the Underworks Corporation. Their business hours are narrow.
- Fast delivery...the fit is okay...
     By A3NKXXXZCM6LGO on 2008-07-02
The product shipped one day before the estimated delivery date which I thought was really great. It fit right into the mailbox which was great as well.
As far as the fit goes, it's a little big because after reading the other reviews, everyone said to order a size bigger than your regular size, and that was a mistake. I should have just ordered my regular size, but it doesn't fit too bad. It could be tighter though. Oh, and the shoulders are pretty comfortable. So I guess the issue is, depending on your body type, how well this will fit (or not).
Overall, the company gets a 5 for delivery, a 4 for price, and a 3 for fit. Which makes my average rating a 4.
- Horrible for correcting posture
     By A30QM7TQ7O6XO7 on 2008-06-24
I ordered this hoping to fix my posture in time for soccer season.
I was happy when I saw that it shipped the next day. I waited--2 weeks gone by before I finally decided to contact Underworks. I was frusterated, because it turns out that my brace hadn't shipped yet due to factory issues.
I got it 5 days later and was very disappointed. I thought that I'd be a small, but the reviews had convinced me to order a medium. Maybe this was the mistake. Whatever it was, the band that pulls the shoulders back was too long and the waist was too large. My posture looked exactly the same. I didn't want to bother getting a small in case it was the design and not the size, so I returned it.
The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because Underworks was very prompt and nice about this.
- Flimsy and uncomfortable
     By A3OQWLHURZODA6 on 2008-10-29
This thing is very uncomfortable and found it to be way too large through the back part and too tight in the front. It rides up and doesn't lie flat on my mid-section and the straps are so loose that they don't really hold your shoulders back at all. It seems pretty cheaply made and doesn't provide any fabric support at all for the back. Waste of money.
