  • do NOT buy these

    By A3SY3AHG08AGVZ on 2007-11-19
i know, we're all tempted by the low price; i was. these are very thin and cheaply made. as all the others mentioned, they are so thin u can see through them. i didn't see others mention this, but my sheets are also a different shade of blue than my pillow cases. that's not very important, but the worst part is that after washing them ONE time, tiny bumps appear on the fabric and make it VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to sleep in. i'm gonna toss these and get myself a new set. what a waste of money!

  • Tissue-thin sheets

    By ABX3U8ZS19CDX on 2007-10-01
The other reviews mentioned the unusual thinness of these sheets, but I thought they might have been overstating the case. They were, if anything, being too kind. While the sheets are very soft and the color nice, the fabric is so so so thin that I fear they will rip if I tug them too tight while making the bed. I can only imagine how they will hold up under the odd dog paw--not very well, I fear. Don't bother I'd say unless you don't plan on using them for long.

  • Don't waste your money

    By A19XBW5WUDH1Z on 2008-01-14
I like many others fell for these sheets based on the low low price.
They are very thin. Thin like silk. They very soft too.
The problem is that they fuzz up very fast. You know those nasty little fuzz balls. I thought these would be great as summer sheets but with those nasty fuzz balls even that won't work.

  • Nice for hot weather.

    By A2DQ4YV52FXHX3 on 2007-09-10
The sheets have an interesting silkiness to them and they are nice for hot weather. I was surprised by how thing they are, actually. The material is non-stretchy. I don't expect the fitted sheet to last long. I hope Im wrong.

  • You Could Read a Book Through These

    By AHBCLG844P0DX on 2007-10-06
This was one of the few times I depended on a product's star rating without reading the reviews...and it was a huge mistake.
These sheets are indeed tissue thin! The tag states they are 100% micropolyester (whatever that is). They feel nothing like even the lowest thread-count cotton. The only elastic in the fitted sheet is in the corners and is very loose, because of that the bottom sheet does not stay on well. The seams on the pillowcases are poorly sewn and do not match.
Save your money and look for cheap sheets on clearance at Walmart or Target...you'll get much better quality !

Edit 12-14-2007....after less than 3 months, both the top and bottom sheet are covered in pills to the point of being unusable. I just threw my set in the trash.

  • A true bargain, and surprisingly comfortable
    By A1N3JZ1WUFEZOE on 2007-09-21
I was a little surprised at the lightness of the fabric, especially having become accustomed to the high threadcount sheets my exwife has a penchant for. But, being divorced, and by association, broke, and, being a man, having no idea what to look for in sheets, I sprung for the $13. I dutifully washed the sheets and dried them with a dryer sheet. They dried in only 20 minutes, they are that lightweight. I was quite pleased to find that the fitted sheet fit my pillowtop mattress without effort. I was equally pleased at how comfortable the sheets are. I really don't expect them to last 10 years like my last set, but, at this price, I can replace them annually if necessary.

  • Very Thin Very Sheer
    By A3T1ARL49S9OQL on 2007-09-26
These sheets are so thin that you can see through them, Not what I was expecting, They are however very soft

  • You just can't beat these for the low price - very comfortable too!
    By A76QLS31AH7FB on 2008-05-18
These low-cost sheet sets fit my lifestyle PURRFECTLY! I'm an animal lover and have both feline & canine "friends" who insist on sleeping on the bed. I've bought expensive cotton sateen sheets at triple the price and wasn't at all impressed with them. These microfiber sheets are thin, but strong! They fit my mattress as good as any and don't seem to gather up the critter fur as bad as cotton sheets do. I like these so much that I just bought 6 more sets - two are for my Mother. I ended up getting 2 King sets and 4 Queen sized sets for $49.00! That comes out to $8.33 per set! I even received the "4 for 3" discount along with free shipping! Even Wal-Mart can't beat that deal! These aren't $100.00 sheet sets, but for under $10.00 you just have to love them! POO-POO on the "nay-sayers", obviously they are in the crowd that expects PERFECTION without having to pay for it. That seems to be the norm these days! Buy a set or two, I really like them and I'll bet you will too.

  • Not a bad value
    By ALJJFWV1SKEYX on 2007-10-19
Very soft, but very thin. Not a bad buy if you get them for a good price, to give an idea I paid less than $20

  • You get what you pay for!
    By ANZSPMU8GMOX3 on 2007-11-09
I was very excited when I found these in the Friday sale for less than $15. My husband and I had a good laugh when they arrived. You could see clear through them!! All he could say was "You and your bargains!" As the others stated they are very thin and the pattern from the mattress shows through (which isn't the look I was going for!). These will be going in the closet to use for extreme emergencies only.

  • HONESTLY, DO NOT BUY!!!!
    By A1A8V1DAOFZJWW on 2008-05-28
A crib sheet at any retail store is thicker and better than this sheet set. Thank goodness I didn't pay for shipping. It literally feels like a tissue. I just gave it away. Hopefully, someone can use it for a craft or pet project.

  • Light Luxury
    By A2VK615AT5NPH8 on 2007-10-02
I like these sheets. They are very lightweight, but sleep comfortably. It's like sleeping on silk.

  • Good set of sheets.....
    By A1HV2GB22WDHB2 on 2007-10-10
A good....NOT great set of sheets.
The price was good, but I prefer better quality.

  • You get what you pay for Don't Buy These
    By A2NMD6JU0AKA9E on 2008-06-23
I was really excited to find these, as we needed more sheets.

However, I wish I had saved my money. The first pair have been on our bed for only 4 days and the fabric has pilled horribly. (Pilling is when the fabric develops those annoying fuzz balls that don't come off.)

If shipping were cheaper, I'd send back all 4 sets I purchased. I am either going to throw them away or maybe put them in our travel trailer. I just don't know if I want a camping trip to be unpleasant with these creepy feeling sheets with little fuzz balls all over them.

Unfortunately I purchased two sets for gifts - I won't be giving these as I LIKE these people.

I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEW PRIOR TO PURCHASING THESE SHEETS!

  • just put the sheets on your bed and hush!
    By A1UEST9HYD2IHS on 2008-07-03
I purchased these sheets in cream and I was elated to get them for less than $10... especially since everything king-sized costs more. I realized that these would not be excellent quality sheets but I wanted to have multiple changes of sheets to use while my really good sheet sets were being washed. These are so inexpensive, I can afford to buy new ones every month if needed. It's not that serious people... you get what you pay for - goodness! Use the sheets, wash them and if you don't like the little nubbly things then throw them away!! Go buy $150-$200, 1000 count sheets from Bed Bath & Beyond if you want something amazing and something that will wash well. Even then you could potentially have some complaint. All in all, if you want a new set of sheets for your bed and you don't want to spend a car payment or if you're having guests over and you don't want to have them sleep on your own high-quality sheets then I would suggest you buying these. They're worth it. Ciao! :)

  • Ok for the price
    By A6POYW0X71DM0 on 2007-09-22
I was very impressed with how soft this sheet was, but it is very thin and it does not stay in place it falls off after you sleep on them. I like the pillowcases but i wouldn't recommend this sheet set as a great buy. For decoration they are great but for use I don't recommend these.

  • Sheets
    By A1EOYNJWY1LJ94 on 2007-10-30
I was looking for sheets that cost the same as they use to when I use to
buy sheets,, These sheets met that price.. To my surprise they were
excelent. They are so soft, and comfortable. I love them. I will surely
buy them again in the spring. Thanks so much.

  • Pike Sheet set
    By ACG9BA30AQS4Y on 2007-10-30
I bought two of the 200 count sheets. While they are very soft, they aren't of the best quality, they are very thin and don't have very tight elastic so they tend to come off the bed while sleeping....but what do you expect for 12.99?!

  • Too small
    By A3QF6BUFTWX4G7 on 2007-11-08
I bought a king size sheet set for my king bed, but every time I move while in my bed, the sheets pop off the mattress. I would suggest getting the king if you have a queen, but then you would be stuck with king size pillowcases. Other than that, the sheets are very silky-soft. And for $18, they work as a spare set, even if they do come off the mattress.

  • beauftiful sheets
    By A1ISEWOYNQ18AF on 2008-02-10
These are very nice sheets, soft and silky feeling, and the colors were beautifully intense. I expected them to be a little heavier and denser, though, maybe I am just used to cotton sheets. But that's all right, I love them. I made a mistake and put one set of them in the dryer on high heat and the hems drew up a little, but fortunately I was able to save them in time. Make sure you don't make the same mistake, and watch them, they dry very quickly.

  • Nice Sheets
    By ASEP36EKHVPAX on 2008-04-21
I was leery to say the least when I read previous reviews. But I bought them anyway, because I needed sheets and the price was right.
I washed them as soon as I got them, using cold water, a good quality detergent and softener. I added one cup of white vinegar to hold the color, they didn't fade as much as I thought they would, based on reviews.
Not sure why people wouldn't wash them first, they had a lot of dirt in them as well, so wash them first.
They are thin, but very soft, but have yet to sleep on them. I'm sure they will be fine.
Not sure why people were saying they didn't have a thread count, it's clearly there if you read the description.
I bought the Lavender and the Burgandy and both are very pretty. For the price I recommend you try them. You have nothing to lose.
I may be ordering more, if they sleep as good as they feel.

  • Good value!
    By A295IPVXAS1M37 on 2008-05-04
Very good value. I purchased these sheets for our camper and am very happy with them. They are soft and silky, not scratchy at all. They are a little thin probably for everyday use but as extra sheets or for a camper they are perfect. I am definately considering buying a few extras because you can't get cheap ones anywhere for this price.

  • Not a fan
    By AGGPS00KSZ7SZ on 2008-05-09
I haven't been impressed with these sheets at all. After only one wash, there were rough little balls on the sheet where our feet are. I thought I would try to see how they work for the price I paid (13.99 I think), but was not pleased. I won't buy any more of them, that's for sure.

  • Sheets
    By A7S0SH4IKOVIV on 2008-05-21
Not as good as I hoped very thin and slippery felt like I was on satin sheets but for the price I guess ok.

  • Horrible, Dont do it.
    By A2XW8EZB53X030 on 2008-05-22
These sheets are so thin. I wouldn't recommend putting them in the washing machine. I wouldn't recommed buying them. One of my sets came ripped. They are awful.

  • Not worth it
    By A3VQU7GRHHUAC7 on 2008-06-23
These sheets are thin and cheap. They do not hold up well. Save your money

  • Junk! Don't waste your money....
    By A3K1L0F2RB2YVO on 2008-08-13
I'd have sent these awful sheets back, except that the return shipping would probably be as much as I paid for the sheets. So thin they are see-through, and a nasty polyester feel. I plan to use them for picnic tablecloths.... and then throw them away. Don't waste your money.

  • Not Acceptable as Sheets
    By A45QBXWM75WNT on 2008-09-11
I bought several sets of these in a couple of sizes, and they were a terrible disappointment. They are silky, which means slippery, and they are poorly finished. The fabric is so thin that you can see right through them. They would be more suited as a slip or lingerie than a bed sheet. They are priced so low for a reason. Terrible in every way-totally unacceptable.

Very nice sheet set. Got it for an even better price here on Amazon.

Pike Street 200-Thread Count Microfiber Full Sheet Set, Navy
The sheets arrived sooner than I expected. The next time I order I will get a higher thread count sheet, because these sheets are very lightweight.
