Get this over the sony branded one!

This is way cheaper than the sony branded charger. It does the same job. I forgot mine in the hotel one time and I did not want to pay over $50 for the sony one. This saved me money and I used that to get another battery instead.
Works as advertised

Let me get straight to the point, this device works as advertised. Combine that with the very low price (1/4 the price of the Sony model) and it is a no brainer when deciding whether or not to purchase this. You will be extremely happy you picked one up.
The fact that it comes with the Western Europe adapter was a great bonus for me since I bought it right before heading over to Europe. It worked great.

After reading the other reviews, I ordered the CTA MR-BG1 charger. The other reviews were right !!! This charger works like a champ. If you are thinking about one of the more expensive chargers (I know I was), save your money. This little guy is fast and easy to use. Give it a shot !!!

nice for the price. works as well as the lost sony charger and the 3.99 overnight shipping was great and arrived on time. highly recommend this charger to anyone looking for a replacement charger.

I lost my original charger when I moved down to Florida so I basically had a useless camera. The official replacement from Sony is around 50 dollars I believe so I decided to buy this one for much less. It does exactly what the other charger does, it's smaller and it has an adapter for European countries. It's really a no-brainer, if you need a charger for sony cameras look no further, buy this.

Looked all over for my original Sony Charger and needed one for a trip. Sony's Cost $50+. This is perfect and a car charger too for $15. Great Deal. Of course I found mine when it arrived. But at this price a spare is great!!

While this may be a non OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) brand, I put my faith in its claim of compatibility and I must say, It has not failed in delivering anything short of excellence. If value is your motive, then look no further. This is a perfect replacement for the $50.00 Sony OEM charger. It even works in a 12v car adapter, for on-the-go power. I would purchase another without hesitation.

This is an excellent product. I went to many different stores to find a replacement charger for my camera,which I lost, and they were all at least $30-$60. I then searched on here and found it for about $8!! What a difference. It works just as good,if not better, than the one the camera came with. I also love the car charger that came with it.It makes it so convenient,when you travel a lot. I would definitely recommend this product to others who use the same type of battery.

The charger came as a surprise, 'cause I thought it was going to come with a home and a car charger. But you actually get a home charger, and then a connection from the home charger to your car cigarette lighter. So even in the car, you have to have your home charger with you to charge the battery. And despite it being described as a MINI battery charger, it's really not that small at all. Overall, it was a good purchase if you want to compare it to an actual Sony battery charger. It can be used to charge at home, in your car, and it's a lot cheaper than the Sony brand.

The charger arrived on time. But I couldn't get it work until I moved the connections a bit forward so that the connections touched the battery. After that it worked fine and charged it really quickly. Also the battery goes in backwards so that may have caused the connectors to be pushed in. Anyway works well at a good price.

My previous experience with a travel charger was a small, convenient BC-CS3. Although this charger is larger than expected it comes with adaptors for different currents. It is definitely convenient for travel to a variety of areas.

I looked at all the major electronic stores for the battery charger for my camera. They were very expensive. Not only did I get a new charger from Amamzon, but an additional battery at a fraction of the cost. THANKS.

It works, but only after I bent the contacts so they touched the battery. I didn't realize this was the problem, and bought a new battery, but when it had the same problem I saw some other people had the same problem, and fixed it with a screwdriver. It's a bit cheap.

The product is really useful especially if you are travelling by road. Easy to charge and use. Compact and no hazzle with connecting wires when charging on a wall socket.
The European adapter also comes in handy since I am from Asia.

Having lost my original charger right before I had a big trip to go on I was in a tight spot. Amazon was definetly the best site I came across in my search for a replacement. The price was outstanding. Some camera equipment sites were charging as much as 40 for a similar if not the same product. And since I needed it in as little time as possible the overnight shipping ption came in very handy.
So far I've had no problems with the charger. The collapseable plug makes it convienient to travel with, as does the car charging attachment.
This product offers a great overall value. Buy it now. Stop searching you won't find a better deal.

I bought this charger when I lost my original and it worked great the first time. Now it takes a little bit of fidgeting to get it to charge, but it still works.
