  I bought this cable because it was sold by Amazon and was able to get free shipping when combined with my other purchases. It wasn't the cheapest, but after factoring in shipping, ran about par with the other cables offered by 3rd party vendors.
  
  The cable itself is nice and sturdy and worked immediately after hooking it up between my computer and plasma screen giving me 1080P resolution. The only problem I had was that the edges of the screen are cut off, but I know fault lies with the TV on this one. I couldn't be more satisfied, and a more expensive cable wouldn't make any difference.

  If you have a Mac with a mini DVI port and would like to hook it up to a TV with a HDMI port, this is the cable you need ( and the MAC mini DVI to DVI adapter). Not all DVI ports are the same, THIS IS THE ONE THAT WORKS WITH THE APPLE ADAPTER. And, it works great.

  I bought this cable to connect a video scaler to my Sony HDTV. It worked fine at 480p, but the picture was very snowy at 720p and above. The problem disappeared when I replaced this cable with a different brand.

  Cable works well. Save your money and don't buy anything more expensive than this for your home theater needs. I play with high frequency circuits all day, so I know better than to waste cash on 'premium' name brands.

  This is a Great deal for the $9 price. I used it to hook up the Pioneer DV-400V-K HDMI out to a Samsung 920BW LCD Monitor DVI port. It plays DVDs with perfect quality over the cable. No need to spend $50+ on some Cable Monstrocity when you can get an quality product at an affordable price.

  I bought this to connect my upscaling DVD player with a new Samsung LCD TV which has no DVI inputs. The picture was pink and snowy at 720p, then flickered on and off when I changed the output to 1080i (while still being pink and snowy). I connected the player to the TV using a composite cable and the picture was fine although it couldn't upconvert. Given the other reviews here, it seems like this cable works great or it doesn't work at all. Do you feel lucky?

  This product stopped working 2 weeks after purchase can't recommand it. picture went out I thought it was the cable box. replaced with same result switched back to old component cables. I guess you get what you pay for

  This product is great and works fine. However be warned that if you don't have a video card that processes sound on your computer, you will have easy to transfer video but no sound. If you are buying it as an HDMI so you don't have to have more than one connection then you must have the right sound card.

  Used free shipping and it got here in 4 days (Left Friday and arrived Monday). So I guess that's fast for free shipping, of course it left Atlanta and it's destination was Smyrna. I probable could have just picked it up if they let me.
  
  The DVI plugs from the HD Box to a HDMI input in the HDTV. The difference is slightly better then the component cables. The TV actually takes a second or two longer to grab the signal from the cable box when you first turn it on. But I'm guessing it has more to do with the cable box then the actually cable.
  
  The cable gets 5 stars because it does what I bought it to do, it's a great price, and it was available for Super Saving Shipping. I'll probable get a 2nd one once I get another HD Box hooked up in the bedroom.

  Simply put this product works great as a hookup to a tv or any DVI-D device. I use it connect my laptop to my tv to watch movies and just to browse the internet. It provides a crisp clear picture and the price is great!

  I got this for my TW DVR and it works somewhat ok. Not totally convinced that these are giving me better quality over the RGB. My DLP does not have HDMI inputs, bummer.
