  I mistakenly thought this was the same as the wheel that came with Mario Kart. It is NOT, and that wheel is better - it has a trigger-like button for the B button.
  
  This wheel make removal of the controller a bit more difficult to boot (you have to push from both ends, vs. the Wii wheel which will release the controller by simply pushing on the hole in the back where you put the strap).
  
  The wheel will still work ok, and I do not plan on buying another Wii wheel to replace it, but if you can, just buy the Wii wheel.

  Good construction and feel. Has hole for Wii onscreen pointing on side which some others don't. Controller fits well without scratching. Improved the fun of racing.

  What can I say other than it works. It's a wheel for the WII. I bought it with Excite Truck and we had a lot of fun with the game. Currently there aren't too many good quality racing games for the WII so you might not have a lot of options for its use at first, but that will change over time. I recommend it though as it definitely makes racing games more fun.

  This wheel is very similar to the wheel that comes with Mario Kart, but there is no button cover for the B button! If you are trying to play manual and power slide, good luck! It feals like it's broken right from the package! Go with the official version!

  This wheel was a big help for me, a non gamer, when it came to driving. I have trouble just holding the wimote in the air and pretending it is a steering wheel.
  
  
• Poor substitute

  This wheel is absolutely abysmal. It plays just fine, but the process of putting the remote in and taking it out is frightening at best.
  
  The 2nd time I tried putting the remote in, I was in fear of breaking the remote, the wheel (wouldn't be as heartbreaking), or both. It SNAPS into the wheel in a most disquieting way that doesn't lend itself well to something that you get "used to."
  
  That said, the Nintendo wheel can be found for the same price (or sometimes cheaper on Amazon!). I've purchased 3 additional Nintendo wheels that allow the remotes to slide in gently without any forcing or requiring any "working with."
  
  Avoid this wheel at all cost.
  
  
• Works great, but not too comfortable

  My husband bought me this wheel along with Excite Truck for Christmas last year (the official Wii Wheel wasn't available). It's really fun and works well, but I find that I get raw spots on my fingers from the rough seam around the edge of the wheel. Probably nothing a little sandpaper couldn't take care of.
  
  The trick to getting the wiimote into the wheel is to line it up exactly and push the wiimote straight in. If you try to go at an angle (put one side in and then the other) it won't go. It's a very snug fit.
  
  4 stars instead of 5 because it does have a few minor issues and the official wheel is cheaper.

  By all means don't waste your money on this item. I purchased this wheel for my daughter along with two "original" wii wheels for the rest of the family. The original wii wheels have no trouble at all inserting the remote controller into them. That is not the case with this item. You have to FORCE the controller into and at times wonder if you are going to damage the controller doing so. It is not something that my daughter can either insert or remove after she is done. What a rip off. Don't waste your money as the original wii steering wheels were and are the same price.

  Like the title says, I tried this wheel for MarioKart, Now i have to buy another real Nintendo one.
  
  The Nintendo one is built more solid and is cheaper!
  
  
• Better then WII Wheel

  At first I thought I would not like this wheel, it is much diff then the Wii wheel but I actually like it better. When using the Wii wheel I am constantly hitting the "B" button on the back. With this wheel that is pretty hard to do. When racing, I never brake so that is a pretty useless option to me. The game itself it not what I thought either but I am not much of a gamer. I lke the Wii for the physical games they have and this one is just not physical.

  I purchased this item because it is pink, which is my new favorite color, but I was sadly disappointed to discover that no matter how hard I tried and how much "mustard" I put behind my best efforts to push the remote in this wheel, it just doesn't fit!!!

• A Bit Clumsy And A Bit Too Light

  I got this wheel before the Nintendo brand Wii Wheel came out. Unfortunately this wheel is too light and doesn't feel as comfortable as the real thing. Also the back button is oriented in such a way that it is uncomfortable to use. It would probably be difficult for a child to reach the button. The quality is decent, but it appears that not a lot of thought went into the design. It's $5 less than others, but maybe not worth it. We no longer use this wheel because of the awkward design.

  I am not much good with the wheel and the game yet but it is a lot of fun. My husband and I race each other on the weekends. It saves gas!

  The wheel does not work with the Nintendo control for the Wii. It does not workl nearly as well as the"offical" wheel.

  This pink Wii wheel works great for Mario Kart! I just slide my Wii remote in and play. Definitely recommend to buy this product (if you like pink!)

  Like several other comments, this wheel will work but it is too hard, tricky, complicated to put & remove the control. It is too tied, control must be perfectly aligned and you hear friction when literally pushing it to the final position.
  
  Do not recommend getting this if your kids will have to mess with this by themselves.
  
  Tough luck for me, after ~3 weeks hunting for the Nintendo original, surely after opening this one there was one at my local electronic store and ended up buying it too.

• Pink Micro Wheel

  I got this product first and foremost for the color. Wonderfully cute, but too light in comparison to the Wii wheel that comes with the came. It makes turning harder and I ended up spinning out more than ever. But if you're already awesome at this game, you might not even notice the difference.
