  i couldn't understand why a pair of sandals would be so expensive, but now i know. they are the most comfortable pair of sandals i've ever worn and are totally worth the price. broke them in so fast. i wear them ALL the time and i'm about to get another pair in a different color. definitely recommend!

  I was going to buy these for my daughter and we measured her foot as instructed on the web site. However, when we got the shoes they were too small. I tried to return them but found out after the fact that there is a restocking fee which was not disclosed during my original order.
  The sandals fit me but the strap is uncomfortable across my foot.

  The sandals I received were not what was described in the advertisement. The straps weren't leather, the leather on the base of the sandal was already wrinkled, the edges were jagged, as if some kid had traced them and then cut them out of a larger piece of material, and there was string sticking out of the sandal where the strap connects to the base on the right foot. I was given a PO Box to send the item back to and had to pay $18 just to get it with delivery confirmation b/c you can't use UPS or FedEx for PO boxes so the USPS is the only option, which means waiting in line forever and paying a fortune, all for nothing! I do NOT recommend this seller at all and have requested a full refund. If they do not comply, or if they attempt to charge me a restocking fee, I will send the infomration to my credit card company b/c that is totally unconscionable.

  Rainbow sandals are the best. There are a variety of comfortable cushioning with this California origin brand. The first time I wrote the double stack sandals in 2002, I felt as though I was walking in sneakers. Years later, I need to buy new ones because I haven't taken care of the leather, so it is cracked. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have lasted much longer. They take some time to break in, but they are very comfortable. Plus, with many of the casual looks that are popular with the preteen to 20's look such as Abercrombie & Fitch, these sandals compliment the look.

  I was told ranibow sandals were the best out there...i was hesitant to buy them bc well what if they didnt fit i didnt mind having to pay the restocking fee...luckily i got the right size and i wore them the first day and they didnt hurt at all until i decided to run in them...they are simply the best pair of sandals i have ever owned... i bought the thin strap bci didnt like the thick ones and how they looked and i DO NOT REGRET my decision in buying this pair of sandals1
  
  
• Love the shoes but slow shipper

  I ordered these shoes for my daughter, and she really loves them. She says they are very comfortable. However, usually when I order from Amazon, I get my order very quickly. Unfortunately, that was not the case with this particular vendor; it seemed to longer than normal. We had to return the shoes for another size, so from the time we returned the shoes, waited for the processing, then got a new pair, it was several weeks. However, she said they were worth the wait (and the price)!!

  I haven't had these shoes long, but from what I understand they're made to last a LONG time, which is supposed to mean they're more environmentally friendly than other brands of flip flops. I will say that I do notice quality in the craftsmanship and the particular color I purchased (Sierra, a tan or light brown) coordinates with any outfit, including summer dresses. The narrow strap is very feminine and the shoe really cushions my foot as I walk. I think the quality of the sandal is excellent although I wish it cost a little less, but you get what you pay for and these shoes should last a long time.

  I have other rainbows and just kept playing with the idea of having a fun color. These feel great, look great and the thinner strap makes them less casual looking than the thick strap.

  OW i read the reviews for this product and no one said how much they tear up your feet the first week of wear. i bought them because they are soposidly the best and took them on vacation on me to find after the first day my feet were torn up! after the 1 week period they feel like sneakers and the week of pain was definitly worth it.
