It does what it suppose to do, It was an excellent purchase. By A12T01LBFEQMOO on 2007-09-28
Long story short, I purchased this for myself to use my high quality head phones and it was great. Until I let my close friend us it on his phone. He liked it so much i gave it to him and bought another. Now I'm back in business, jammin to the sweet beat and watchin & listening to the excellent movies on my 8525.
Maybe best available By A1JSS9DADV5Q9N on 2007-11-11
I've tried 3 different products; this, the 2-in-1, and a solid angled adaptor for my Sprint Touch by HTC. This works best. The others are very ify about how the stereo miniplug has to be situated, with frequent left or right channel drop outs and occasional mono output. This one with the wire works consistently, even with my phone in pants pocket while walking the dog. Still, I've recently ordered a 4th, like this, but with an angle at the HTC miniUSB end.
works fine By A1BVU7F2T8EUKS on 2007-11-07
Not much more to say - seems to hold up well and it is cheap. If you want to use your own headphones with your HTC made phone (ATT, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile all put out HTC made phones) you need something like this.
Good for the price By A19CG2LXIOUC9N on 2008-01-22
This headphone adapter does what it says, but it could be shaped a little more conveniently. This is the only downside--because of the angled connector, the adaptor will not fit with the power connector in the splitter that comes with the 8525. This means that you will not be able to plug in the 8525's external power and the headphone adapter at the same time. Other than this, the adaptor functions as you'd expect.
Woah, went through two of these! By A1GVKFJXPZRXJJ on 2008-01-29
This audio adapter sucks! I went through two of these and neither of them lasted more then 24 hours. The problem was that the mini usb plug would pull straight out of the adapter staying in your Tilt.
I highly recommend you getting something else, which is what I am going to do now.
- A good deal.
     By A3C2MI8JHIFU9Z on 2008-02-12
The USB to headphone jack converter was worth the money. For only a few bucks I could hook my home stereo headphones up to my phone and listen to my music.
- Poorly made -- Seller lacks quality assurance?
     By A3L5KMB8ELSG7P on 2008-07-06
I purchased two more of these adapters after my first one fell apart after a few months of use. One of them works well, but the other cuts out the left channel of the music! A simple connection verification test would have uncovered this issue. Can I have my money back, or a replacement please?
- Just what you need...
     By A3QDS1MMKCGA63 on 2007-12-21
If you bought something like an ATT Tilt phone and want to use your existing headphones with a standard jack, this little doodad is what you need. Cheap, easy, works, no hassles.
- 11 pins side broke
     By A1L5A0976PIL23 on 2008-01-21
I bought this and the 11 pin side broke. The metal piece just came out after a few weeks. I would not buy this product!
- Great item.
     By ASDPCZWG76BFC on 2008-01-22
I had problem finding this adapter for my HTC Touch phone from
retailer like Fly's and BestBuy. Glad I finally got one here
at Amazon. It works nice. The connector is a bit tight when
I try to connect it to my phone. Not sure if this is by-design
(so it won't disconnect due to movement ) or just not 100% perfect
fit. But it is okay. Would rate this as 5-star if I don't have
to use little force to make the connection in.
BTW, the total price (item + shipping) at the seller 's own web
site is like couple dollars cheaper, although I still ended up
buying it through Amazon. Just FYI.
Also, at first when I used it the music volume on my external speaker
was very low. Later I found out what I needed was to incrase the volume
setting on my HTC Audio Manager, which apparently is somewhat
independently (or a subset of) the physcial volume control swtiches of the HTC Touch phone.
- Almost perfect
     By A1JF41JIZ5RJYE on 2008-02-08
Price is right, delivery was prompt, product works as advertised. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that, the way the mini-USB plug is configured, when it's plugged into my AT&T Tilt, the connect for the headphones is off to the side of the phone. I would have preferred that the headphone connection point toward the center line of the phone, to minimize the chance that it will hang up on a pocket.
- Mogul stero audio converter
     By A73FKFXH8XHEH on 2008-03-18
The adapter is small and it works great. I've purchased another type, but it kept causing clicking of the audio from a loose connection. This one works perfectly.
- Fine product. Does not fit 3125
     By AEL8INHWJV95I on 2008-03-23
This is a fine product for the money. I was hoping it would be the same connector that HTC put in their Cingular 3125 flip (Star Trek style) smartphone, but it's a different connector.
- Works as advertised

I just wnated something so I can plug headphones into the phone and listen to music. I just plugged it into my at&t tilt and started listening. If you want to pay around $100 for a decent set of bluetooth headphones, you can just use bluetooth and avoid the wires. The other device I bought allows you to listen and charge at the same time.
- It works, but...
     By A1XDSJMQFUOW8U on 2008-03-30
This adapter works very well. I bought it for my HTC 8525 and it is alright for what it is supposed to do.
However, as pointed out in another post, the right-angle adapter is wrong for use with the HTC splitter that goes with the phone. You honestly can't use this adapter with the splitter in place. And you need to use the splitter because the battery doesn't last very long using multi-media app's. If the manufacturer had pointed it the other direction, I would have given it 5 stars.
With some minor surgery I was able to get mine working, but for this phone, AT&T 8525, find an adapter that is straight.
- Great Product
     By A1GQFQXF76Z5A0 on 2008-04-18
This is a great product with a very good price. I like the fact that the end of the adapter that plugs in the phone does not stick strate out but it is at a 90degree angle. This makes it less likely to damage the port on the phone if the adapter is pulled or hit.
The only thing that I could find to complain about is specific to an adapter that came with my phone. This will not affect most people. I have the Cingular (AT&T) 8525 form HTC. The adapter works great with the phone! My 8525 came with an adapter where you can use the audio and data port at the same time. The adapter that came with my phone plugs in the phone and has one mini USB plug and another plug that is identical to the phone. Because the adapter that came with my phone has both ports close together, the cord for the adapter hits the other USB plug. Note it still works.
Enjoy!
- Very Good

Very good. USB plug is nice and secure so if you have it in your pocket the sound doesent cut out.
- great
     By A2N8KV7U4NDYMY on 2008-06-14
this is what i was looking for. i am now able to hookup my 8525 to those accessories available to ipods that allow me to use it in my car.
- Broke in the first week..
     By AE2E8NZY3QFR4 on 2008-08-22
Got this for my AT&T Tilt it broke in the first week. I recommend getting the "2-in-1 mini USB and 3.5mm Stereo Audio Multi-Adapter for ATT 8525/8925, T-Mobile Dash, HTC TyTN/TyTN II" instead
- Very useful
     By A29LF7RGR8HHAJ on 2008-08-24
Purchased the item to use in my car to listen live radio over the ATT wireless network. The audio converter fits very nicely, works fine.
Can also be used with mini usb headphone.
Arrival was reasonably fast, would recommend the product.
