Bloody excellant!!

This is so simple and useful that I'm surprised more people haven't bought it. The only big drawback is that the encased phone will no longer fit into the usual docks and holders. Once you seal your I-phone in the case by clipping together the plastic pieces, it is rather difficult to exhume the device without getting medieval with knives, screwdrivers or other tools - which may also have to be used to flick the silent mode switch. The clip can come in handy if you want to attach your phone to your seat belt in the car - a bit easier to keep track of phone and wires without Bluetooth. A good use of polymers and well worth the price, carbon footprint an' all.
Excellent case for the money, but...

Pros:
-It was $1.95, need I say more?
-iPhone shows through clearly, hard to tell there's a case on it from a distance.
-Highly durable, dropped it several times and not even a scratch
-Very easy to put on, fairly slim as these cases go.
-Excellent belt clip, very durable, also clear. Snaps on and off easily.
Cons:
-Difficult to remove as you need to push a small tab in with a key or small screwdriver to pop the case open.
-Plastic lid can be annoying, it doesn't flip all the way up and over, has to be held up while accessing screen, but case can easily be used without it. (I use a film protector instead)
-Can't use dock with the case, but that's true of almost all iphone cases -- hard to understand why they can't make a case that leaves the base exposed. Especially annoying since the case doesn't just pop off easily. Going to try cutting enough off the bottom to expose it, should work fine.
-Belt clip leaves the small round connector in place when removed, annoying if you only use the clip infrequently and otherwise leave the phone in your pocket. I removed it with a screwdriver, but would have to screw it back on to use the clip. Not unique to this, almost all cases with clips have the same issue.
Great Protection

After I broke the screen on my iPhone, and had to pay $275 to get it fixed, I thought a case that protects would be in order. This case fits snugly over the phone and doesn't alter the size too much. I removed the belt clip so that I could continue to use the belt holster, and with the new cover the iPhone actually fits into the holster more snugly. The only downside is having to open and close the cover to use it and having to hold it open while in use, but a small price to pay to prevent another repair bill.
NOT FOR IPHONE 3G

DOES NOT FIT IPHONE 3G. Would appreciate this being stated clearly on site. Unless of course the plan is to have unwitting 3G owners like myself, purchase a useless piece of equipment. 3G is larger than original iphone and cannot fit into this case. 2 stars for prompt response after I complained. Like most people I dont have time to send back a $2 purchase for refund. Nice plan.
Works ok

Works ok but the top cover is cumbersome if you want to access the actual screen withought hindrance so I just took the cover off for good. The backside hinge (screw like thing) slowly seems to come loose with time as it is used and then you have to open the case (which is not that easy) and tighten the screw that holds the unit that slides into the clip holder for the belt.

This thing is awesome.. It cost less than an apple case and I absolutley love the flip screen feature.. saves my phone.. and keeps my phone looking new.. I just wish I had recieved it before I dropped my phone and scratched up the metal case..

I give this product 4 stars for price first of all and for overall fit protection and functionality. The only reason it doesn't get the fifth star from me is because i like to use my dock and i can't put my phone in the dock with this case on. Normally this is not a problem but taking this case off is a bit of a chore.
- Wasted money

After two weeks or so, the lid broke off. I liked the lid as it felt like real protection in my pocket. But the hinge is too fragile. It's still usable as a hard case. So, if you want to spend $4 a month plus shipping to keep replacing it, a good buy.
Totally broke a week later as I tried to remove case from phone.

Please Do not buy it..i have one they sent me broken..and the other one it broke crack near clip blet. Didn't even last for a day..i mean it. i have no choice but to give one star just to complete this review form other wise i would go minus star..

This case is exactly what you think that it is, a cheap plastic case with a flippy thing on the front. Ordered it and have not used it yet, but it is not well made, but it is also not complete junk. Worth the little you will spend on it.

This thing broke. It is very poorly made. It looks very practical and sturdy but the plastic is flimsy and chips very easily. Probably why it's so cheap.

I wouldn't recommend this item to my worst enemy. Very flimsy, the case didn't snap on properly and the lid was a joke. I threw it in the bin after 15 minutes.

Even for the low price and cost of shipping, it is not worth it. It is cheaply made. Don't waste your money and time waiting for this to arrive. I ended up getting a rubber case at a local AT&T dealer.

It is a cool product and it makes your iphone look sleek, but the cover is pretty flimsy and broke and crack from normal use. I can't complain though, it was good while it lasted...

This is a great case. Before i bought leather case but it was very heavy in my bag so I wasn't happy. This one looks very nice and also is light, perfect!!!!!! I love it!

product fit my 1st gen iphone perfect and has saved my iphone from damage a number of times. clip works great and snaps off if excess pressure occurs saving unit from damage as well as the case from damage. wish the cover screen had more durability to the hinges. they snapped off within a couple of weeks.
