It works

I received my order in the time I expected and it was what I ordered. I have always been happy with Amazons service. My problem with this item is with the product itself. This is the third Ac Adapter we have bought for our Dell laptop. The original adaptor just stopped working after about a year after we got the laptop for our teenage son. The second adaptor lasted about a year before it started acting up. We only had the third adaptor for three months. One big problem is that the way the cord comes out of the adaptor it is very easy to bend it or accidently pull the cord cover from the adaptor. I have recently been told that the main reason for the problem with this adaptor is that the laptop can overheat and cause damage to the ac adaptor. We have since bought a cooling pad to keep under the laptop. We will see how this works. We also bought our son a new desktop so the laptop won't be used as much.

I bought this AC adapter after my 2-year old one died. I've had this one for about a month now, and it's working just fine...I don't know what else there is to say about an AC adapter :)

What can you say about an adapter? The black case matches my calculator? It doesn't show fingerprints?
Seriously, though, this is attractively priced and works fine (I've only had it for 6 weeks). Note that it's not Dell-branded, if that makes any difference to you (doesn't to me).

Grand Theft

The product is not a Dell - it is a generic brand without warranty or extended return policy. The one I got for my daughter worked for about 2 months and stopped. I couldn't return or exchange it with the vendor since the official return policy period had expired by then. Now I'm stuck with a broken product and have to go out and buy another one. BTW, for generic brand AC adapters there are much better prices out there than this item.
