• Gives good quality prints, but a few quicks

  I use these in a Canon IP5200. It creates great quality pictures, but does have a few limitations. Anyone thinking of buying an inkjet printer, should always check the price of the ink! A great deal on a printer can quickly turn into a money hole. It has been my experience that these cartridges, while less expensive than other brands, do not yield as many prints as advertised.
  
  These cartridges also have the computer chip built into the tank, which I have had a few issues with. On more than one occasion, the printer stopped recognizing the cartridge and would constantly give errors that the cartridge was missing or empty. In both cases, I contacted Canon and they sent me out a replacement at no charge, so kudos to Canon for that.
  
  Amazon is without a doubt the cheapest and easiest place to get these. Add the savings from the low commitment 'Subscribe and Save' program and no other retailer even comes close.

  I don't know why it's so hard to find this product in the stores, but I haven't found it anywhere except at Amazon. Other than that, it's required by the Canon printer we use (which is a good one and I really like it) and I'm glad Amazon carries it.

  These three colors are running out before black one. That's why it is very economical to buy this trio package without accumulating black ink cartridges which could be bought fresh when necessary.

  I own a Canon MP530 printer. It is by far the best printer I have ever had but buying ink for it locally is sometimes confusing and expensive. With the free shipping buying the CLI-8 ink from Amazon.com is generally both cheaper and much easier. Plus Amazon carries the colors in different package arrangements so I can get the colors I actually need. Why shop anywhere else?

  With free shipping, Amazon definitely has the best deal on these CLI-8 inks. The 3 pack is especially useful, since the 4 pack comes with photo black, which I seem to never use. I have 6 blacks still which I purchased before the 3 packs were introduced.

• Looks OK but mediocre lifespan

  This ink looked fine as printed in my Canon MP610 Pixma, and buying the 3-pack saved us a few dollars, but either the cartridges and/or the printer are very inefficient -- we don't print much in color, and yet the cartridge runs out in what seems like a month or so. It just seems like a built-in inefficient system to bleed us of money.

  This is the correct color pack for the canon MX700 and I couldn't find a better price locally or online. Must buy the the Canon PGI-5 Black ink separately, I wish they were bundled for the MX700

  Do NOT buy from this merchant - the shipping cost was nearly $20 and it was sent via regular mail. What a rip off! Not only that, but it came absolutely crushed in a simple bubble-pack envelope.

  I am very satisfied with this product.
  In addition, the service from Amazon is quite excellent! If a wrong product is shipped, they make it very easy to return...I received my shipment quickly. Their customer service via e-mail or telephone has been very very good and courteous. The form, fit and function indicate quality design and manufacturing. Many features, good operating instructions.   I have a Canon MPX830 printer for over two years. It is used for work and personal use. I have always bought genuine Canon ink tanks. The performance and quality of print is very good.   I bought this ink for my Canon PIXMA MP600 printer/scanner/copier, which is an excellent product. The ink is consistent in quality and has never caused any problem in the two or three years that I have been purchasing it from various vendors. My only complaint is that the cost of the ink is much too high, a problem with all ink for inkjet printers. And I am glad that this product is manufactured in Japan. The advantage of the 3-pack over the 4-pack is that I use the black ink much more slowly than the other three colors, so the 3-pack saves me some money.

  Sophia global has excellent customer service. They address issues quickly and offer a fair resolution. I have had problems with the Yellow ink tanks not being completely empty when the printer says they are empty. As much as 20% was left in the tank. The other ink colors work fine. I tested other ink brands and did not run into this problem. I went back to the Sophia global Yellow and continue to have this problem. I am currently trying ink from another company but I would still recommend Sophia global because the problem could be with my printer. Sophia global gave me a total of 5 free ink tanks to make up for my problem. You can't beat that for customer service. Also, I felt they worked with me to resolve the problem. Some supplier would tell a customer "You must be doing something wrong. Or your printer is the problem". I appreciate Sophia global's fast delivery too!
