  This was a huge disappointment for my 8-year-old daughter. Quite simply, it does not work. Using nearly the entire tube of the darkest color provided, the color barely showed up on my daughter's medium brown hair. Plus, it's messy and stains. Don't waste your money.

  My daughter got this for her 11th birthday. She had been wanting it for a couple of years. She and 2 friends had a fabulous time playing with it (and pretending to be hairdressers) for a couple of hours. They loved it! 2 of the girls had medium brown hair, and the pink and blue showed up wonderfully. One of the friends had highlighted hair, and apparently had a harder time washing it out (which may have been due to just plain lack of scrubbing on her part...she's only 11 too). All in all, this is a great toy for older girls (or boys...they did my 6 year old son's hair too!), but they must be careful when using. Just have them treat it like paint, or nailpolish...Don't spill, use plenty of paper towels, and be careful! Why not let them get coloring their hair pink and blue out of their system now, instead of when they're 15? Next time I'm gonna have her do mine too! Fun times for older kids.

  My daughter has enjoyed this product but we've had trouble getting the color out of her hair, especially the pink. Not the end of the world for a 7 year-old though. It does eventually wear out after a couple weeks of washing.

  My daughter bought this with her birthday money, and absolutely loved it. It's messy, but it was well worth the mess to see her happy. It comes out really easy, I mean she just turned 6 and got it out herself. She was wanting to go to school with streaked hair, but it washed out when she got her shower. I wouldn't pay anymore then 25.00 for it, we got it at wal-mart and that's what we payed. Overall I was vry happy with this product. I really didn't want her to get it, I thought it would be a pain. We put it in my 2 year old's hair to, and she thought she was really big. I would buy it again.

  I bought this product for my almost 8 year old. She loves it and it is easy to use. The colors wash out easily as well. The color looks lumpy initially, but when it's dry and you can brush the hair it goes away. Clean up was easy too.
  
  
• Exactly what my daughter wanted!

  Since seeing this product on TV last summer, my 9 year old girl has wanted the Girl Crush Streak & Style. After reading reviews I went ahead and ordered it for her birthday. She has had more fun with it over the past few weeks. She has med. dark brown hair and all the colors work quite well. You have to wait for the color to dry completley before you see the full color. Here is what she says: I love it very much.Its perfect for every bodies hair even mine.

  First, my daughter wanted this toy for Christmas and NO stores had it, it was out of stock becuase of the popularity. I was able to find it on Amazon and at a cheaper rate than the stores would have had! GREAT! I like saving money. I have to say I was worried about this product because of the possible mess. It will stain, so be careful. My daughter has had fun with it and able to do it on her own, so it is a good fun toy for her. The colors wash out of her hair easily. Overall fun toy.

  My daughter only wanted this for Christmas and only Amazon had it in stock. She and I both love it! She looks so cute and the color comes out mostly after one wash. Some times it takes two to get it all out. It dries quickly and stays put.

  My 8 year old sister got this for Christmas and couldnt wait to open it. I'm 11 and I couldnt wait to open it either. We finally opened it and I tried mine first. We were sort of dissapointed-you use almost the whole bottle on one strand of hair! I used the very light pink and it barely worked (when i tried to wash it out, it wouldnt come out) . I had used almost half of the tube on one highlight until me sister told me to stop. Then, I tried the hot pink. I have medium-brown hair and it worked ok. It didnt do the whole strand of hair-just the top-unlike how it is shown on the box. My sister-has light brown hair almost blonde-tried the blue and it worked almost perfectly. I'm not sure if it was how we used it or if it just didnt work. It definatly didnt work as well as we thought it would.

  I have never written a bad review in my life, but I just feel compeled to warn others. This product is very "cheaply" put together, you get VERY little of the color product and what you do get does not really work that well. My daughter has dark hair so the only color that showed up was pink. Also it was very difficult to get evenly into her hair so some hair had too much product and some had too litte. I am very disappointed that we paid so much for something that we used once and will probably never use again.

  I searched and searched for this before Christmas of 2007. The only place I found it was on Amazon. I am so glad I bought it, my daughter just loves it. Some of the colors don't show up that well, like the light pink/white but the darker pink and blue show up excellent. My twelve year old has even used it. The best part is that it washes out.

  This was the only gift my dauhter wanted for Christmas. When she first used it, the product did not show up in her hair and the applicator was flimsy. She used it once and put it away.

  My 8 y/o couldn't wait to use this Christmas gift. We used the pink and blue on her light brown hair and It worked very well. It washed out with one shampoo no problem.

  My girls love this toy! They really enjoy doing this activity together (they are 8 and 9), and then seeing how it turns out on their hair...oh.. and it's been washing out just fine. I thought it was a tiny bit pricy for what is in the box (I paid about 30.00), but I'm sure it's just because it's a 'new toy on the market'. It's still fun for the kids though (it's a toy that's actually still keeping their interest), and I'm glad they came out with it!
