  1/28/08: I was looking for an exercise gadget to work my inner and outer thighs. I work out every day doing cardio, pilates, and lifting light weights for toning. But I hadn't found an easy way to tone my inner and outer thighs. I had been doing leg lifts on the floor, but those were time-consuming and boring. After using the Leg Magic for the past 10 days, I can say this was exactly the gadget I was needing. The machine definitely targets the desired areas and the exercises are quick and fast-paced, so I don't get bored. The first day, I did only 1 minute on the machine and my thighs were very sore the next day, so I knew it was working. I have already advanced to 3 minutes per day and can see results.
  
  The only reason I give this item 4 stars instead of 5 is because of one feature that does not perform as advertised. When you fold the legs of the machine up, they tend to fall back down. I have to put a velcro strap around the legs to make sure they stay up when the machine isn't in use. However, this would not keep me from recommending this product, as the exercises work great.
  
  Follow-up 5/27/08: After 5 months of using Leg Magic along with my other leg workout exercises, my legs look better than they ever have! Very sculpted now and no longer any sagging of my inner thighs and my outer thighs are tighter than ever. I still love this thing!

  The leg magic is not that sturdy. I was very disappointed. I am pretty short and found this machine to be very uncomfortable. I felt pain in my hips and lower back after the first use. I will have to return it. I don't recommend this product. More than 50% of the exercises on the DVD are done on the floor without the machine?????

  The package arrived well in advance of the promised date and all listed items were in the package; thank you. Who ever said that it is an easy excersise must have either legs of iron or never used this machine. It works but you have to be able to; 1. Follow the exercise DVD which is 13 minutes of floor and leg magic exercise and 2. You should have the strength to keep moving up and down and then on the machine, personally I was out of breath and my knees started hurting after the first 3 minutes. Do not want to discourage anyone, the machine works but do not expect "magic" it is hard work. Good luck to all who have decided to take the chalange of loosing pounds.

  Alone in the myriad of flimsy exercise products on the market, this one actually performs as advertised. It is sturdy, easy to fold up and move, and does exactly what I want it to do. If the buyer honestly does his or her part, this product will produce the desired results.

  I found the Leg Magic to be quite sturdy, which is important because I presently weigh over 200 pounds. The unit was larger and sturdier than I expected. The lateral motion is truly unique and provides good exercise for the rarely used sides of the thighs as well as the buttocks. I would recommend taking it slow at first to avoid injuring your hips. I find that doing 100 reps provides quite a useful daily workout.

  The Leg Magic system provides an intense 13 minute workout. It's not for the faint of heart or those in search of a walk in the park. You have to be willing to work for your results. The accompanying DVD workout keeps you moving and keeps you motivated. Well worth every penny.

  The produts serves the purposes it was designed for very well.
  It comes in well packed, it's easily assembled and the written instructions are good.
  The instructional DVD that accompanies the exercise equipment was defective, the vertical hold would not hold the image still, therefore, you cannot use it. I contacted Amazon, they instructed me to contact factory and so I did. It's been three weeks, I have no response from them. It's a pitty, it's easier to work with a video image than do work with a book. The workout is still worth it, the results are seen fast.

  Please be careful with this machine. It is not as easy as it looks on TV. I just returned from a dr. visit with a groin strain after only working out on it one time. The second time i tried i got a severe pain in my thigh, and could go no further.
  This is not worth it for the price. More than half of the workout is on the floor. They dont tell you this.

  The leg magic is quite a workout. I can only work on it for short 1 minute spurts at a time. I had to prop up the outside legs because it lays too flat and makes it too difficult to move the pedals back in. It is very effective propped up. I feel it in my inner and outer thighs and in my stomach core. I am not thrilled with the machine and would like for it to be easier to use. But I did get a great price from Amazon and quick shipping.

  I was reluctant to order the leg magic due to all the negative comments I read over the internet. But, being it was such a great price, and I didn't have to go through leg magic themselves, I bought it.
  I am very glad I did! This is a very challenging machine, and only a 13 minute long workout on the dvd. I would recommend this machine for anyone who wants to tone the lower body.

  The Leg Magic seems to be working my lower abs more than my abducters and adducters; every time I use it my abs are sore the next day. My short legs (30" inseam) might be a factor in how this works for me. I don't feel it working glutes at all. Assembling the Leg Magic is easy enough; actually using it is not nearly as effortless as it looks in the infomercial. The foot pads are quite slippery-I've tried it barefoot and with a couple of different workout/running shoes, and keeping my feet firmly planted is half the work. Raising the handle bar scrapes the paint off the vertical bar, and regardless of how tight I turn the knob for the storgae position, the "legs" won't stay folded up. This is the first piece of as seen on TV exercise equipment I've been sucked in to buying, and it will be the last. At least on Amazon it cost $40 less than other places. It's better than doing nothing but I don't see amazing nor fast results from using it.

• Hurts my knees though.

  Hurts my knees and I have had no prior problems with my knees. But it is sturdy and easy to fold as they say. Nice DVD workout included.

  If you want to tone those thighs ,this is your answer. It will make you sore for the first 2 or 3 uses but you will get used to it. Burning=working
