Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin.

All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child
Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin.

Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper.

Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter?
Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come.

When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment.

If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment.

About Seventh Generation
Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

  • It leaks

    By A1M3MFL5RZHOIG on 2007-09-15
    It leaks....

Both number one & number two ;-(
We haven't had this sort of trouble with any of the other diaper brands so it was a bit of a surprise. It happened more than once (2 out of the first 3 training pants) so I can not just write it off as a fluke. Since this is a training pant there is no way to make it 'tighter' or make the fit more snug. Our daughter was able to wear 2t-4t of other brands without this happening. These are smaller and should have a better fit....

  • Worth it!

    By A1D08GED45KSGJ on 2007-12-26
My daughter and I were asked to participate in a test group for Seventh Generation before these diapers were available for purchase. I have not purchased any since because I haven't been able to find them, however, when we used the package Seventh Generation sent us we had no issues with them. I actually thought that they fit her better than Huggies or Pampers brand training pants and I really value the chlorine-free aspect. We have used Seventh Generation diapers for about a year now and my daughter's skin is far less irritated than it was with the regular diapers. I tried switching back to Huggies and Pampers and her skin became irritated almost immediately. The Seventh Generation training pants are really not any more expensive than the other brands. We didn't have any problems with them leaking, I have found that the regular diapers do leak more often than other brands but I solved that problem by going up a size and changing her more frequently. All in all, these training pants are a good buy.

  • Another great paper product from 7th Generation

    By A1Z57W9GL5NZL8 on 2008-02-15
These training pants work at least as well as Easy Ups and are better than Pull Ups at holding in messes. All that and good for the planet, too. They are chlorine and dye free and don't have that funny ink smell that a lot of training pants do. Try the Seventh Generation wipes, too.

  • No more diaper rash!

    By A54JKZMQ86IXV on 2008-01-03
When my daughter was ready to start potty training, I got her some big name brand training pants and she started to get horrible diaper rashes, even though she was rarely wearing them wet and then only for short periods of time. She had always worn Seventh Generation diapers before, so I was SO HAPPY to see that they're making training pants now. She's young and tiny so I wouldn't mind a smaller size, but the 2t-3t works well enough on her tiny bum. The best part is NO MORE DIAPER RASH. I love Seventh Generation!

  • Replaces night-time "Pull Ups"

    By AMMWMCX8T6OO7 on 2008-05-18
We use these on our 3 year old, who only wears them at night and for afternoon nap. We were previously using the Pull Ups night time pants. 4 nights in a row now and not a single leak. He has not had a bowel movement in them, however, but they contain the pee just as well as the other brand.

  • A Comparable Alternative
    By A3P2X7XWUHXGOX on 2008-05-11
My daughter is 2 1/2 and only used a pull-up/trainer pant at night. Usually she awoke dry, so I couldn't honestly say whether or not they leak as a general rule. She had wet a few times at night and her pajamas were typically dry in the morning. We have had probably 2 mornings with wet pajamas.

Her skin has not reacted negatively so the lack of chlorination agrees with her. As for the size-she's about 37 inches tall and just under 30 pounds (on the skinny side) and I think that these seem to run a bit small. The 3T-4T size fits her perfectly (you would think they should be too big).

Recently we stopped using a disposable at night. The rare wet morning is worth the money saved for us and the space saved in the landfill. These are not biodegradable or compostable. They are, however, a perfectly comparable alternative to diaper rash and dioxins.

  • Mixed Feelings
    By A3L2H1A6UD2HWH on 2008-06-12
While I respect and approve of Seventh Generation's business philosophy (and use and love many of their other products), I was not pleased with the 4T-5T pull-ups. Compared to other brands, this line seems to run small, and because of that, did not fit my child well. It did not fully cover his bottom, even though other brands in 4T-5T covered completely with no problem.

I am disappointed because I do like this company, and I have bought such a large supply! However, I am happy to say that I gave the remainder of my supply to a friend whose child is younger/smaller so they went to good use.

  • Prefer the diapers
    By AY6T9QQPJ434E on 2007-10-10
I've found this brand to be worth every extra penny in terms of design and reliability. The pull-ups, however, don't come in many sizes and are therefore not as good a fit (tend to give my kid a wedgie). They're also less absorbant than the diapers. My son still lies down for changing, and although you can rip the side seams open to take them off, the pull-ups are more difficult to remove than diapers. My son seems to have a harder time getting them off too (which seems counterproductive in terms of potty-training).

Maybe I just got these too early in the process. I won't be buying them again until my kid is almost ready for underpants.

  • my green kid approves
    By A3MU97G6SM4F9N on 2007-10-31
My 3-year-old has been potty trained for quite some time but still wets at night. These pull-ups do the job over night.

  • Very Unsatisfied w/ product
    By AA6KPWI4O40S7 on 2007-11-03
I purchased these even after reading the reviews. My son has very sensitive skin and I thought the chlorine free would be good for him. Simply put: They leak. I have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old and have used many different diapers/pull-ups from pampers to store brand and have never been so disapointed in a product.

  • Toddler loves them
    By A3846QNSELSKD8 on 2007-12-02
My two-year-old doesn't seem to notice that Diego or Danny Phantom aren't on the front of these. In fact, the back of them is clearly labeled "BACK," which keeps us from putting them on backwards by mistake, and they have a tree on the front, which helps him put them on right. For us, they leak less than the equivalent Pampers or Huggies, and they're not bleached, so you're keeping a little dioxin out of the environment by buying them.

  • 1,2,Tree Hooray!
    By A3PI8B1F4CL6JZ on 2008-05-19
I love these and my 2 year old loves them! I was so glad to find these after using cloth diapers and the rest of the seventh generation line of diapers. We use them at night and have no leaks.

  • Safer for sensitive skin, no chlorine and less expensive too!
    By A2U3I4ZU8VCQDH on 2008-06-10
I bought this product to see if it would help my older twin son with his eczema- it works nicely! (no more hives in hot weather around his pull up!) Pleasant side benefit is that I can get one case of pull ups for both of my twins-- one has a puppy belly and the other one is very slender waisted- and they fit well! (as with all pull-ups, you should tug them up snug and push them to the body between the legs so there is less chance for mess, and remember to "tuck down" if you have a boy!! We also find that a pair of shorts helps to keep any pull-up from sagging due to playing, thus reducing "unpleasant surprises".) Another reason we keep buying these is that we can use them overnight without problems-- and my older twin has a tanker-bladder! We put them down at 8pm and as long as I am up with them by 7:30, they rarely have a problem.
Couple this with the fact that with the Amazon Subscription option and free shipping, I am paying about 8 dollars more for 116 pull-ups than I would for 88 pull-ups at the club-store and you have a very happy mommy...

The only thing that would make these training pants any better is if they had an adjustable and peel away side... this would also make it easier for changing on the go in bathrooms without a changing station.

  • Great Training Pants!
    By A3W3NUM3TOJHM2 on 2008-02-15
I was excited to see Seventh Generation offering Training Pants. I was using Huggies for my boy at night and almost two nights a week they would leak or go through! I have not had a leak or wetness for the past month since using these. They fit much tighter and work much better. Although, I might look at the G diapers for my baby even though these have always been my pick for all the kids.

  • diappointed
    By A2PPP8B7PPYTPT on 2008-02-21
I've been using Seventh Generation diapers on my son for at least a year and a half and they were great. I saw the training pants at the store a couple months back and decided to give them a try. The cut is weird, too narrow. The sides would tear off while I was pulling them up! It really drove me crazy. I wasn't at all interested in using the other brands with pictures and chemicals all over them so I went back to cloth. I am thinking about getting another package of the training pants to see if they've been improved...

  • The BEST training pants I have tried!!!
    By A3CQH0LSV7JYRB on 2008-03-16
Before I tried these, I thought you had to sacrifice quality to use environmentally friendly diapers. However, these are truly the best training pants I have tried - much more absorbent than pampers or huggies pull-ups. Before we switched to Seventh Generation training pants, I still used regular diapers for naps and at night, because we always had leaks with the other brands of training pants - now we use these at night with no leaks! What makes these even better, is that they are healthier for my child and the environment! A+++

  • Soft, Comfortable and non-bulky
    By AUSMCNMUNCCP1 on 2008-04-22
Very absorbent, appear to be more comfortable for my daughter than the bleached pull-ups, and no silly commercial characters. Excellent choice for disposibles.

  • Diapers
    By A1QTCPZ6JA1G6I on 2008-04-29
I really like these diapers and like that they are a bit more earthly friendly that regular ones. We cloth diapers but she has develop a rash from them if she uses them overnight so we only use them for overnight and they work perfect. I especially like that I can get them through Amazon at a cheaper price than Pampers or Huggies so is a no brainer.

  • The BEST Training Pants!
    By A2FZZCO3UWVS5C on 2008-05-02
My 22 month old has been wearing these training pants for a couple of months now & we love them! The are gentle on her skin, and never leak! She loves the "1, 2, Tree!" graphic on the front! I HIGHLY recommend them!

  • Wouldn't buy any others
    By A130NYIZL1VFE3 on 2008-05-05
I had been using 7th Generation diapers for my son since he was an infant, as other brands caused severe diaper rash. I was excited to see that the training pants became available. They fit my son perfectly. I notice a few others were disappointed in the sizing, but we have never had any leaks or accidents with these. My son is 2 years old and weighs 34lbs. The diapers absorb well, as we only go through a very few throughout the day. Love them!

  • good but
    By A2RSOTM38VKFQ on 2008-06-16
These were really good, but they don't have velcro on the sides so all pants and shoes have to be off when putting these pull-ups on.

No leaks and the little tree on them is really cute.

  • Hold up well
    By AETW5U5PSO253 on 2008-07-01
My son wears a 4t and these pants are a little tight on him. Also he has never had a leak in them. Basically they are a recycled looking pull up that holds well.

  • great diapers, great price
    By A1GL9MHBQTGYB3 on 2008-08-14
While waiting patiently for our daughter to prefer the potty to the diaper, these work great & Amazon has the best price, if you go with the free shipping. I order a new box when we open the last pack & it always arrives before we run out.

  • Did Not Fit Tushy
    By A2JJVJNOLRVBG9 on 2008-08-16
We bought the same size of these that we have used in the seventh gen. diapers, and found 2 of the 4 packages (we didn't bother opening the other 2) to contain diapers that did not fit my daughter. I don't know if they were sized wrong, but they did not cover her tush. This lead to many leaks and baby wedgies - not fun. I am not planning to buy this product again.

  • Happy With This Product
    By A32STEGJK3Y665 on 2007-09-29
I don't have the same leakage problem with these that the other reviewer mentioned. These fit well, my toddler is comfortable in them, and the one, two, tree symbols on the front are a nice touch.

  • They work
    By A26LO3KVCC5ZGQ on 2007-11-18
I wanted to use diapers that were kinder to the environment but also easy to use for my hectic life. These diapers work great. They hold their contents without leakage. They are good quality. They run a little larger for their size. But that didn't present a problem for my son. They still fit good and don't leak.

  • No leaks, good fit (holds a lot of the wet stuff!)
    By A5ACM4RVC9AMH on 2007-11-22
I've used 7th Generation diapers since my daughter's birth and have loved them. Based on reviews here about fit I almost decided not to buy them. I went to the store, bought a pack, and we both like them. She is a tiny 2 year old at 23 lbs and these fit great.

She'll miss the pictures that she enjoys on the Pampers but I surely won't miss the nasty chemical perfume smell of that brand.

  • great
    By A25L1CG1GLOIV5 on 2007-12-16
we have no issues with these. they are great. i wish we could get them shipped to Alaska. they are $20/pkg here! ahh!!! i miss these!

  • As good as the diapers, which is to say very
    By A1IDU8W9XV66R5 on 2008-02-27
These are the natural progression for my youngest, who was diapered only in Seventh Generation diapers after trying every other kind of diaper (those available in any store to all the special, environmentally-preferable brands) with my first two babies. They fit well, the sizing guidelines work for us, and they're fairly comfortable though of course not as nice as normal cotton underpants. Good enough for overnight, which is our main use of them- don't leak and absorb adequately.

  • Training pants au natural
    By on 2008-03-22
I like that these are chlorine free, my daughters seem to have less rashes than with traditional pull ups. We use them for night time, and they frequently get too full. Not the best for some nights, but good for most nights.
