Choose between Map View, TrueView 3D split screen, and Maneuver List SirfStarIII SD-card slot Rechargeable battery backup We've been big fans of Magellan's Maestro line since it came out in early 2006. The Maestro interface is incredibly easy to use, even for those who are not completely comfortable with electronics. At the same time, Magellan was ahead of the industry with useful innovations like multi-destination routing and pre-loaded reviews for points of interest like hotels and restaurants (from AAA). With it's 3200 and 4200 series, Magellan has improved the Maestro line giving them a SirfStar III chipset that provides super-fast. satellite lock and making them thinner. In fact, at .7 inches, these are -- at the time of this writing (November 2007), the thinnest portable GPS navigators available. Distingushing between models is also fairly easy. The 3200-series navigators feature a 3.5-inch screen, while the 4200s have a 4.3-inch widescreen display. The 3200 and 4200 offer great, basic navigation with turn-by-turn spoken directions, pre-loade maps of the 48 contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, and 1.3 million POIs. The 3210 and 4210, add maps for Canada and Alaska, AAA travel information (see details below) and bump you up to 6 million POIs. The 3220 and 4220 add maps of Mexico. The top-of-the-line 3250 and 4250 add a host of other features, including text-to-speech directions that give real street names, bluetooth for hands-free phone calls, integrated traffic (with a free 3-month subscription), and voice command. What Makes the Maestro 3210 Exceptional? Easy To Use Interface The intuitive user interface makes the Maestro series incredibly easy to use. Use the big icons on the 3.5-inch touch screen to search for your destination by address, intersection, or any of 1.3 million points of interest (POIs), including restaurants, hotels, airports, gas stations, and more. You can even touch an onscreen icon for a nearby destination, see name and address, and get an instant route. Turn by turn visual and spoken directions guide you every step of the way. Auto re-route gets you quickly back on track whenever you make a detour or miss a turn. QuickSpell feature intelligently searches and checks spelling when you enter addresses. The 3210 offers multiple view options, including 2D, 3D, and TrueView that shows your upcoming turn using a 3D split screen. Maneuver List displays the full turn-by-turn details of your route. Auto night view adjusts color and contrast for easy night viewing Take It Anywhere The 3210 is super-thin, lightweight and fits easily into any pocket. The integrated rechargeable battery enables you to operate the Maestro 3210 away from your vehicle for up to three hours. The battery recharges while driving via the included vehicle power adapter. Tons of Data The 3210 comes pre-loaded with Navteq maps of the 48 contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, and 1.3 million points of interest (POIs). POI data includes telephone numbers and addresses. It also has an Address Book in which you can create and store POIs and addresses that you use frequently. Flexible Routing The 3210 provides a particularly large number of routing features relevant to its price point. - Multi-destination routing: Select up to 20 destinations and choose the order that best fits your needs.
- SmartDetour: Prompts you to route around heavy or stopped freeway traffic.
- Customizable route methods: Choose between Fastest Time, Shortest Distance, Least or Most Use of Freeways, and Avoid Toll Roads
- Route exclusion: Select streets and freeways to avoid so you can get there your way

Great Unit for the Money By A952LJOXPLTVL on 2007-11-27
Unit is small which is something I needed when fitting it in my bag. The USB car charger that comes with the unit will also charge your blackberry but you can't use any other USB charger to charge your GPS. (i tried my moto USB charger and my BB USB charger. A standard USB cable to connect to your PC might.
Unit works great in NYC and Philly. Which is known for poor GPS reception. I lost signals a few times in NYC but not for long.
The biggest problem is that the route color is green and often the map color is green. So...its hard to read sometimes. (don't judge colors in the pictures) You can't change map color options like you can in other models, (or i just can't figure it out). Also I have the 3200 model which is the same I think just lacking the AAA stuff.
The GPS is fast. Its not instant like some other reviews have said. It still takes 10 sec or more to find route or reroute. But the signal holds in major cities and the GPS has not randomly thrown me 500 ft in some direction when I am not.
Nice upgrade from older models.
Nice purchase if you are looking for something small.
Nice purchase if you love the Magellan UI compared to other GPS systems.
Nice purchase if you want a budget unit.
Bad purchase if you want all the latest features.
Bad purchase if you want to customise to your prefernces (like map color)
Bad purchase if you have a fuctional GPS and think this is a huge upgrade.
Bad purchase if you have a wind shield far away (tiny screen)
Unit does not have TEXT TO SPEECH By AX3Z2VNEN5NNQ on 2007-10-31
The info on Amazon is wrong. This unit does not have Text to Speech. Magellan tech support says the only ones that have it are. 3225,3250,3270.
Buyer Beware By A1L07L8W9FDQRS on 2008-03-13
I have sent my GPS Roadmate back to Magellan in fort worth Texas you pay shipping and took me over 10 phone calls to tech support in India where there is a language barrier the simplist questions they put you on hold for at leat 10 - 15 min ea time. My average phone call time is one hour each time you call. The company does not provide updates for you GPS but tells you to purchase a new GPS it is no longer made after only one year. Never got one upddate and there are major highways not even on the unit.
I was promised a new GPS and was told it will take at least a month to get because of " processing" what a joke... If you want frustration buy a Magellan. By the way there is no contact phone number for there California Headquarters forget that.
Disappointing By A1GZ3WQINJY9DG on 2008-01-18
I have the Roadmate 800 and bought the 3210 for my wife. The upside is the small, light size and the responsive touchscreen. The downside is the mapping software. It seems that Magellan went backwards instead of forward when they did the software. The unit routinely picks routes that are not logical or efficient. As opposed the the Roadmate series, the 3210 will not do a proper recalculation until you pass the next turn. It can take you miles out of your way. Also, it does not recognize the smaller, less travelled roadways that the Roadmate does. I do not have any faith in the accuracy of the units directions.
Almost Perfect By A101DD083RR9GG on 2007-10-25
Bought mine at best buy, on the fly, in a hurry, because I lost my other a few days before my trip back home. It's accurate, very easy to use, the screen is big enough but not bulky, the voice is tolerable. My only beef is that the only way you can charge it is through the car lighter. What happens if it doesn't work? As is the case in my 99 grand am. So basically here's my review... If your car lighter works buy this GPS, if your car lighter doesn't work, get it fixed so you can buy this GPS and not have to use somebody elses lighter to charge the thing. Also it comes with a window mount that is very easy to use and secure. Great product, perfect price, enjoy.
- Excellent Portable GPS w Voice Instructions
     By A1CTSCGQAFUDVS on 2007-11-26
I researched various PORTABLE GPS unit as I tend to travel (in a rental car) on leisure and work.
This GPS device seems to be the best so far (test drove from Chicago):
+ It is slim - fits in your pocket
+ Provides several user friendly options - Sensitive Touch-screen, 2D, 3D maps, satellite identifiers, Variety of Point-Of-Interests (you can even add customized POIs), Re-route options and intuitive intructions.
+ Most impressive aspect was that the re-route was instantaneous when waiting at the traffic lights at New Jersey!!
+ Battery consumption was low. USB power adapter works from car-charger and if you have blackberry power cable or USB laptop cable you can charge with those too.
+ Statistical & accurate live metrics on your driving, speed, direction, mileage covered, time to destination.
- The only bad thing was occasional slow start-up (app 5 to 10 seconds).
- Failed after 2+ months and unable to get it repaired
     By A3U1JCE5NAA5A on 2008-03-03
I have had mine for about 3 months now. It worked really well for a period of less three months, before it started acting up. One time when I happened to turn off my car ignition right at the moment the GPS is playing an audible message, something must have happened to it because ever since that, my GPS behaved strangely and it often locks up and won't respond to the touch screen. If you wait long enough, it will often reboot by itself and work for a few minutes before it acts up again. I figured perhaps it's a software glitch and so I tried the reset button. It helped a little but did not fix the problem. A few more days later, it can no longer detect the satellite signals. So I called the Magellan tech support. They guy politely took down my information and said someone will call me in 24 hours. Well, after 2 days, no one called. So I called them again. They tell me they don't have my information in the computer. He politely took the information and asked me to hold while he try to access the computer. A few minutes later he said the computer is down and they will call me later with an RA # for the repair, and also insisted that I would have to pay for the shipping when sending it in even though it's not my fault that the unit failed. It's been over a week now and still no one had called me back with the RA #. I am not sure what is going on there. I might have to just toss it and buy another GPS. I need one that is reliable and won't crash in a middle of a trip.
- Worked for us
     By ACEA95FQS1AVP on 2008-05-27
We purchased a Garmin for our parents, who live in Texas. The unit worked great. However, my husband didn't like the size of it - it was like a small CRT monitor. So, we chose this Magellan because it was a flat panel model, came with a windshield mount, and the price was under $200 at the time of purchase. We've had it about 2 months now. Overall, it has been worth the purchase.
Though I think the maps on the Garmin were better looking, these are fine for seeing where to go. Once programmed with the destination, the unit provides an estimated time of arrival, which does update. So, if you get stuck in traffic it affects the arrival time. Magellan also tracks your average driving speed. Both units offer spoken directions. This is both good and bad. It's good because the unit tells you to keep right or left when exiting off a ramp or highway that splits into two directions. It tells you when you're approaching your turn and when you've reached your destination. However, it is extremely annoying when traveling on a highway with local and express lanes. I-270 in Maryland does this and the unit is constantly telling us to keep right, or left (with no rhyme or reason) in and out of the local lanes! It's also annoying while driving on long highways like 95 as it keeps reminding you to remain on the current road and not get off. We mute it while on these roads. However, if you have no clue at all where you are going, this is a helpful feature. I found the advance notice justa bout right. The unit tells you your turn is coming up in about half a mile (sometimes greater notice if you're ona highway) and then chimes when you've come upon the turn. The unit also displays what road you are on, and what the next road is supposed to be. Another plus is if the Magellan loses satellite signal (such as in a tunnel), it displays a list of all your upcoming turns/roads per the route it calculated. While this isn't as good as the turn by turn directions, it was a nice back-up. The Magellan offers four choices of "chimes" to notify you of your next action (turn, exit, keep right, etc.). They range in volume and annoyance depending on what you prefer.
The points of interest is a nice feature. We tested it locally by searching for a restaurant. It displayed all the local choices, from closest to farthest, fast food to sit down. We chose McDonalds and it got us there exactly as we would normally go - the quickest route. It allows you to search by coffee, restaurant, gas station, etc. Though this feature wasn't a priority for us, it is nice to have. I once drove through Arkansas, and would have loved to have had this then. We never did find a place to eat, and ending up waiting until we passed into Tennessee!
Other reviewers have noted that the unit often chooses longer routes. My husband found a setting to "avoid highways" or "quickest route" much like MapQuest. This has worked okay for us. Also, if you have a general idea of which way you wish to go, the unit will recalculate for where you are. We recently drove to Fort Meade, and the Magellan wanted us to take 28 instead of 95. We stayed until we passed 28 and it recalculated for 95. If you miss a turn it does the same, or instructs you to make "a legal U-turn." The menu is more complicated than the Garmin. Some features are buried that really should be easier to access. However, a bit of patience playing with the unit before taking any trips helps resolve this. Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with customer service (or lack there of), but I honestly think most companies would have the same problem. I've never read a review from a GPS buyer, and I read through a lot before buying this model, who had a good experience with customer service after discovering problems. So, buying a GPS is bit of a gamble. I recommend this unit since the price is reasonable, and the flat panel is nice. However, my parents love their Garmin so it really does come down to price and esthetics.
- Love my Magellan!
     By AX7K6FSRE8QUV on 2008-01-17
I searched long and hard to find a GPS unit that I wanted which was affordable and didn't contain a bunch of things I didn't need. I found that with the Magellan Maestro 3210.
The unit is about palm-sized and pretty thin. It comes with a car charger (while you may see the port and think "Great, this works with my cell phone," think again -- it behaves as if you've plugged it into your computer and doesn't charge) and an arm so you can affix it to your windshield.
This little gizmo is amazing! It has maps of all 50 states, plus Canada and Puerto Rico, and over 6 million points of interest! I can find anything: restaurants (which are even further categorized as fast food, Chinese, Cajun, etc.), gas stations, banks, medical facilities, the geographic center of a city (although why I would need that, I do not know), museums, courthouses, and more. We were looking for a restaurant called the Victorian something (we weren't sure what it was), so we did a POI name search on the partial name 'Victor', requested it close to our current position, and we got the route in seconds. They even have some AAA ratings, plus it gives you the phone numbers for AAA should your car break down. You can even access your longitude and latitude!
The satellite lock is very good as well. I can turn it on inside my house, and it'll lock onto my position almost instantly. I do not believe that Magellan has an updated map for this unit, or that they even offer such a thing for the Maestro series, but it's perfectly acceptable for well-established areas.
We've been using it for a while now, in town and on trips, and it hasn't steered us wrong yet. We like to take different routes just to see how the system copes with the error. It really likes U-turns, but in the city, it does a good job of getting us onto a different street. It lets you know when your next turn is coming up in 2 miles and .5 miles, and it also dings (different tones for left and right) when you're on top of your turn so you're not likely to miss it. The voice is a standard female voice, and I don't see any option to change that. It's easy to use right out of the box, without instructions. You can set your home address so you can reroute yourself home, from anywhere, with the touch of a button. Add locations into your Address Book so you can access them easily. I've also noticed it will save your previous destinations (and so far, with approximately 40 of them, none have been removed from the list) so you don't need to continually input them.
There are a few nuances which we found annoying but not deal-breakers:
- We took it out of town, and it gave us a side road which cut our travel time by 15 minutes. Fantastic on the way there, except on the way back it refused to route us by that same side road, as if it didn't exist. We followed it anyway, and the unit kept telling us to make a U-turn to get us back to the interstate.
- One of the main roads in our town does not permit you to turn into a business from it; you have to take a back road to get there. However, since the street address is on that main road, the unit will tell you that you have arrived as you pass it but will not tell you how to get to it via the side roads. I don't blame the unit for that (it got us to the right address without problem), but it's something to consider.
- You can put in a route, and the system will "drive" it for you; we haven't found a way to teleport ourselves directly to the end of the route or at any point along the way, but you can drag your finger along the touch screen all over the map so it's easy to bypass.
We are absolutely pleased with the 3210. No problems so far. It's been a fun item to have! Highly recommended.
- Loving my newest toy!
     By A2OARPXYHW0XL2 on 2008-01-23
My husband bought me this GPS for Christmas, and I love it. My job frequently takes me to unknown areas or addresses and the GPS gives me a since of security.
However, I have had a minor glitch or two with this unit. Since this is my first GPS I have nothing to compare it to so I am not sure if all GPS units would do this or not but ...... One time it didn't show a major freeway interchange that I should have taken so it misguided me past the exit. Once I went past the interchange it re-routed itself and got me back on track, but it did take me 10 minutes out of my way to get me back on track. Another time (this has happened twice) it said "you have arrived" or "destination on the right" and it was not correct. Example one: In one incident I was looking for an apartment so I was in the complex on the street, and it said destination on the right, which it was, but 3 building behind the one I was in front of. Example two: I was looking for a steet address on a street that was a circle with East and West. I followed the GPS directions but it took me to the wrong house on the east circle. It should have been the west circle, and the address it had me arrive at was one number off. I wanted 35313 West circle, and it had me at 35312 east circle. That one took me a while to figure out on my own.
As for the description of this item, it does not have the speech to text as stated. However it does give you 3 indications of when your next turn is. One at 2 miles before the turn, one at 0.5 miles and then it makes a ding noise when you are at the turn. So the text to speech is not necessary, at least for me.
All in all even with the minor glitches I have experienced it is mostly correct and very helpful. It is also simple to figure out how to use. Even someone who is technically challenged could figure this unit out just by playing with it.
I am please with it and I would recommend this unit to a friend.
- Great Unit with poor Instruction paperwork.
     By A273VS3GD3IYO3 on 2008-01-10
It is great unit. Complaints - it tells you when to turn except when you reach your destination it quits talking and sounds a chime . Poor small instruction sheet( Full Instructions are on a cd-rom)Make sure you read Instructions throughly.Power bar is buried a few screens deep in unit. The green bar at top right may be mistaken for a power strip but it is actually the satelite signal. Those are minor issues and this is a great unit and I give it 4 stars in my revised review.
- Good Value for the money
     By A1KGKL0QNWBHEG on 2008-03-13
I didn't want a fancy high priced unit with a lot of things on it that I would never use. On a recent trip to Florida from Missouri it got me there even though it tried to route me through a road that was full of stop signs etc. Overcame that simply by re-routing with most use of freeways. POI is great..only wish it would show rest areas that are along the route......that would be great. A little put off that the maps are dated 2004. Would have thought they would have been more current. (Bought in 2007.) On the return trip from Florida I pulled off the highway to get gas and I did not use the POI to let it know what I was doing and it sort of locked up. When I got back on the highway it did not know where I was. So I turned it off for a while then when I turned it back on it still didn't know where I was. It would not resume route and kept shutting itself down and restarting. Then it would just show the map. So I shut it off for a few hours and when I turned it back on and all was fine. Strange!! It did not change its time with daylight savings. I use it the most when I go to the city and it works great there. So overall I like it a lot and use it often. Just hope the problems that it had on the way back from Florida don't happen again. I will map quest directions and print them out to have with me from now on just in case!! And carry a map!! Also I do not understand just what the CD was for.....I thought that It would update with them, but that is not the case..unless I am just missing something!! But for the price I am happy with it.
- Great ! had a great vacation thanks to this gps
     By A875STK3N7EH0 on 2008-02-08
purchased for vacation, were going to drive from palm springs CA to las vagas NV.Purchased this one for 200. Best thing ever, it was always correct. One time it sent us around a block 2 times but once we turned out of that route it recalculated and we were off in the correct direction. It allowed us to go so many more places without looking on a map and 99% of the time it was always correct.
Live in New York have not really used it much around home but was great on the west coast.
- really like it
     By A2GYBRSGFAABX3 on 2008-01-23
I bought this gps unit for my wife for christmas and she loves it. It gives you plenty of time to let you know turns are coming up and then signals when you are supposed to make the turn. The 6 million poi's have a ton of stuff and the AAA tourbook is very detailed. I really like this item

Magellan Maestro 3210 Portable car navigation system
I have had this GPS for 3 months. It has worked great. We have taken many trips and it always gets me to the place we are going in the shortest time. Doesn't work that well with a lot of tall buildings but none of them do. I would buy it.
- Great little gadget
     By A1OLHHO3WYHL1T on 2008-04-04
I finally decided to break down and buy a gps. I got this one incredibly cheap on a friday sale. I have been all over the place with it. It's not something I NEEDED, but it is definately something I WANTED. Easy to use, and small enough to put in my purse when not in the car. It definatley was worth getting.

     By A16X1718WCJ5LH on 2008-04-20
Just like with most inexpensive gps units out there, the 3210 is great if you do not have a clue where you are going. However you will not find any hidden shortcuts to locations you are familiar with, it will often send you the long way around. That being said it is still worth the money because it will take you right to a destination you have never been to
- For the directional challenged
     By A1XH0OKDJCQBNU on 2008-04-21
Great GPS at 50% of retail... May be a older model but it was new in the box.... My wife is no longer LOST on the Highway and it is a Lot less expensive than ON STAR...
- Be cautious!! Chose a different brand
     By AJ9F5B30YC3X8 on 2008-05-22
I'll keep it brief. Customer service is beyond non-existent!
Bought hand held unit, worked fine in US.
Bought Direct Route EU, software. Would not load on unit.
After 7 months yes 7 MONTHS of emails/letters/ phone calls.
Magellan finally agreed to exchange, but they sent wrong software.
THEY DO NOT CARE, and just give me a run a round AGAIN.
So I have a useless GPS.
- Magellan Maestro 3210 review
     By A1NOTWLIWQCWBE on 2008-06-04
I bought this device due to its price and the fact it was loaded with AAA tourbook information. It's nice to have hotel and restaurant listings and those provided in the AAA tourbooks have always been fairly reliable. I've assumed a similar level of reliability with the informaton on the 3210.
What I like about the device:
1) The device has a lot of features for the price. I suspect the price will drop even further as more devices enter the market.
2) AAA information is very handy as both addresses and phone numbers of establishments are included.
3) GPS directions have thus far been very reliable. However, in a couple of instances, I did not sense that the directions generated were the most direct routes possible or the way I would have gone.
How the device could be better:
1) The device can only be charged in your car as only a car adapter cord is provided. I prefer to know that my 3210 is fully charged when I leave home. Without an AC adapter, I feel the need to always carry the car adapter cord for even short trips rather than charging at home and not taking cords with me.
2) A storage case for the 3210 would be a nice inclusion to the package. I tend to toss the device into my backpack when traveling and sense that the display will crack when I next drop the pack or bump into something.
3) The device is slow to update your starting point when it is first turned on. For example, upon arriving into Seattle, I entered in the address of my destination there. However, the starting point for the directions was shown to be my home some 800 miles away. I usually turn off the device and turn it back to remedy the problem. However, I suspect there's something on one of the menu screens to address this problem.
Overall, the device has performed as I expected. There's not much need to read the manual as the on-screen menus are easy to navigate. You could spend more for other devices having similar features on a smaller footprint. However, for me, the ability to read the display is paramount and the display on the 3210 strikes a nice balance between readability and size.
- Affordable GPS, With Some Flaws
     By A23GFTVIETX7DS on 2008-08-11
When my Garmin StreetPilot's hard drive failed, I panicked. I had become used to having a GPS device in my car. Since I had recently purchased a Garmin nĂ¼vi 650 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator for our other car, I couldn't justify getting one of the more full featured models. Because the Magellan Maestro's price was right and because it had the basic features I needed, I bought it.
The Maestro picks up satellites much faster than the Garmin Nuvi does, even if you unplug it and transport it across the country. There's never any waiting to acquire satellites. This is especially important when you're driving in an unfamiliar area or need a quick recalculation. It has a largely useless but cool feature of showing how many satellites are tracking you and the strength of the signal. However, the map navigation software, the heart and soul of a GPS unit, is quirkier than the Garmin's, with an occasional outrageous route plotted. For example, it plotted a 90 minute route for a trip that I can make in 65 minutes, even though I had selected the fastest route on the touch screen; every time I disregarded the GPS directions, it would subtract another few minutes - odd, since it supposedly chose the fastest route to begin with. Most of the time, however, it selects the logical route, allowing users to program it for the fastest, shortest, most- and least-use of highways. Although I did have one problem with the GPS not getting me to my point-of-interest, I haven't had an issue since. The lack of trust that one miss creates is phenomenal. You shouldn't have to question your GPS. Still, it always gets me home. (Both brands may get the side of the street incorrect; for example, both list my address as being on the opposite side of the street.)
The Magellan uses different chimes to indicate the exact moment to turn, and it gives enough warning of approaching actions. The points of interest are adequate for most uses, although typing in, say, a school (for those traveling to see high school sports!) works better than trying to figure out which category it might belong to. I really like the feature that shows small gas station and restaurant icons on the map. The keyboard for entering addresses is easy to view and use. Recalculation is quick, and it doesn't hang or keep recalculating absurd ways to get back to the original route as our Nuvi can since it recognizes much faster when I want to pick an alternate route. The 3-D view is accurate and visible, even with the smaller 3.5 inch screen. The battery life lasts about 90 minutes, not enough to make it practical to double as a hand-held or to use without the car charger.
The unit comes with an auto charger, a cable to connect to your PC (Windows only, not Mac), and a suction disc/long-neck cradle to attach, more or less permanently, to your dashboard. Its size makes it easy to tuck out of sight.
All in all, this is a good choice for a budget GPS unit since all brands have their issues, especially at this price range. Those who depend heavily on GPS directions may want to invest in a better model, but infrequent users and those on a tight budget may find that the Magellan Maestro is their best bet. This unit would get two or three stars compared to the pricier Garmin units, but, in its price range, it is a sure four star product.

This simple but effective unit is well made and has proved itself invaluable on the two occasions when I was detoured through unknown parts of Detroit. So far, it has accurately guided us at all times. It is simple to use, quick to recalculate the route when a wrong turn is made and clear in it's audible instructions. Very impressed with the quality and value.
- Navigation logic issues
     By A3W4B5GRK18130 on 2008-04-21
I purchaed the Magellan Maestro 3210 because of my experience with a previous Magellan unit - The RoadMate 1200. I loved my Roadmate 1200 because of it's excellent navigation but was disappointed in it's miniscule 750,000 item POI database. I saw the Maestro 3210 as the answer because of it's 6 Million Points of Interest. Unfortunately, the 3210 obviously does not use the same navigation logic as the Roadmate 1200. The navigation performance of the 3210 is downright horrible. Chosing "Fastest Time" would almost always select routes that actually took LONGER than the other options. During a recent trip to Ohio, the unit continually tried to route me off of the Interstate highway on to side roads that would have substantially lengthened my trip. The only reason I gave it a second star is because of the 6 Million POI. If Magellan could get the navigation logic of the Roadmate units into the Maestros, this thing would be a big winner. But for now, it's worth more as a paper weight than a GPS.

- Maestro 3210

Great seller. Fast shipping and the best price I could find anywhere.
I like the audio capability. I bought a Y splitter so I can use it in my vehicle with an Ipod and the directions are spoken on the car stereo.
Use it it on my motorcycles also. It's pretty basic but that's all I wanted and is easy to navigate and set up.
- Great value

The Maestro 3210 is awesome! It even tells you how fast you are driving, in case you want to check the accuracy of your speedometer. The value of the unit is well worth the price. It does everything I need it to do. It's easy to find restaurants when you are out of town, as it will find ones close to where you are and give you the phone number if you chose to call first. It was very helpful to me recently when I was stuck in a hotel room with no phone book. NIce!

This Item was delivered to my Door DOA, it would not power up. In my return request to Amazon, I requested the item be replaced with a working unit, which Amazon has not done. They refunded me the money(which wasn't what I requested) but have not returned my emails.
- Great small PORTABLE GPS

Very accurate, gives you plenty of warning about turns, lists street name on bottom of screen. It can list estimated arrival time also.
Now that I don't get lost, maybe people will stop telling me where to go! (lol)
