slow delivery, interfers with TV, laptop wouldn't recognize

Took well over a week from order to arrival, 3 days before it was even shipped. Plugged it in and it sizzled and popped at first, then interfered with TV reception (not cable), interference was positional but couldn't get rid of it entirely. When I plugged it into the laptop I had to really work to get the laptop to realize it had AC power, and any movement would make laptop think it was disconnected even though connection was intact. Maybe it was just this one individual unit, but most unhappy with it.

This was a great price and works just like the original. I had to cut and tape the old power jack for months because I didn't want to pay $60 plus for a replacement cord from Dell. I found this one and its perfect and less than half of what Dell wanted. Plus it arrived FAST!

the older one that i bought last year had a total longer length than this one,, this one came with a 90* degree plug, that i think i like, but dont know yet... over all it works and i am satisfied...
Suitable Replacement Product

While others have said this product does not work well for long, I have had this product for several weeks and have not had any issues with it. I will warn consumers, however, that this replacement cord is CONSIDERABLY shorter than the orginal power supply I was using, so I have had to adjust the area I use this in to adapt to the shorter length. Otherwise, product works as described.
Cheap and works, but doesn't last.

Ordered this initially and the wrong adapter came. Batterycenter was quite prompt about sending the correct one to replace it, but that one overheated after 2-3 weeks and died. We were very careful about keeping the next one cool after the previous problem, but it still died after about 3 months. Now I know why it's less expensive than other compatible adapters.
(after both died, I can see why they overheated. The components are barely adequate to provide the spec'd power, and they're sealed inside plastic with no venting or cooling)

Works with the laptop we bought it for. Has a better end to plug into the laptop than the original Dell equipment. Because of the end, we expect less accidental damage and hope it will last much longer. Shipping took about a week via regular US mail.

It works, what else to say? Bought it because my sister's old dell laptop's power supply died. Plugged this thing in and it works. She sits next to the TV when using the laptop so no interference so far (at least with her power supply) - re: a previous reviewer. Definitely recommend this over the Dell's $60 replacement.

This is my second adapter. I have one connected under my bed and one connected in my livingroom. I have not been disapppointed yet!

I RECEIVED MY ORDER IN ABOUT 1 WEEK. THIS IS MY 3RD AC ADAPTER I PURCHASED FOR MY DELL INSPIRON B130, AND I INCLINED TO SHARE MY HONEST OPINION WITH THE READERS. AFTER I HAVE BEEN USING THE PRODUCT FOR TWO WEEKS NOW, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM SO FAR. MY 2 PREVIOUS ORDERS WERE FROM "EBAY" THAT COST MORE AND THEY BOTH WERE CHEAP MADE, SHORTER CORD AND ONLY "2-PRONGES" PLUGS, THE CORDS WERE SMALLER, ADAPTERS RUNNING "HOTTER" TO TOUCH. IN THE END, THOSE FIRST TWO ADAPTERS I BOUGHT FROM EBAY FAILED IN FEW WEEKS. I AM CONFIDENT THIS 3RD AC ADAPTER WILL BE MUCH BETTER PURCHASED FROM THIS SELLER. THE CORD IS MUCH THICKER WITH "3-PRONGES" INSTEAD OF 2, AND ADAPTER DIDN'T SEEMS HOT TO TOUCH, AND FOR ONLY $17.00 INC SHIPPING VS DELL ADAPTER. THE ORIGINAL DELL ADAPTERS ALSO ARE MADE IN CHINA AND COST $60.00, BUT I AM SAVING BIG MONEY ORDERING FROM THIS SELLER FOR THE SAME QUALITY AND SERVICE. I WILL BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN FOR ANY BATTERY NEEDS. THANK YOU
