  I don't know why Amazon can't deliver for 4-6 weeks. I bought one at Best Buy last week for the same price. I love this case. It fits my 160 GB Classic perfectly. The halves stick together well, yet are easy to pry apart. It looks cool. The reflecting coating is on the inside of the front half and does diminish the screen brightness a bit, but it still is easy to see in most rooms at full brightness. The best thing is that the bottom is flush with the bottom of the iPod while still holding it firmly. This means that it will fit in most cradles without needing to remove the case. Most important for me is that it fits in my iHome IH8 clock radio.

  I wanted this case for its reflective look, and so far, it's delivered quite well. Unfortunately, it's been scratched a few times, but that's because it's been put into a bag with my keys and cell phone. I don't like however, how the bottom is left completely uncovered, but it makes sense that Griffin designed it to be used with the iPod Dock, so it can't have anything there.
  
  When you install it, be careful not to nick the "cbromed" surface, or get anything inside, or else you'll end up with an imperfect finish. With a black iPod, this case will look amazing, and with a silver iPod, it still looks decent.
  
  

• Great case, but hard to see in the light

  This case is fantastic -- eye-catching & solid. The only thing is that in direct sunlight you can't see anything on the screen. Perhaps if you have on polarized lenses you could, but when walking around in the bright sun the screen is opaque.

  This is a very nice case, but was disappointed to find that there is a fair bit of wiggle room with a 30 gig ipod. I wish that would have been spelled out in the description. But I put a piece of cardboard in with the ipod to stop the sliding around.

  Griffin 8160-ICREFLCT Reflect Case for iPod classic (Chrome) is an awesome case. Verry close fitting and attractive mirror finish. Front of case is transparent when Ipod back light is on, but remains reflective when not. Ipod is kept safe, but is hard to remove frome case do to snaps that connect the front and rear. The rear is made of a hard plastic with a black rubber coating that makes it easy to hold. No protection is offered for the clickwheel, but clear scracth resistant films solves this and creats an extra layer of procection when applied before the Ireflect. Overall great fit and finish. Highly recommend this case!

  This case is amazing. Sure, it will probably scratch easily and lose it's luster, but it is gorgeous. It does dim the screen, which is to be expected, but at full brightness it isn't an issue at all in terms of visibility. I'm a dork and I want it shiny for forever, so I'm getting a case for my case, but if you just want something cool looking that will protect the aesthetics of your actual ipod rather the entire package, you should be good with just this. But if you're as fastidious as me when it comes to scratches on gadgets, you'll get an iPod sock to go with it.

  I brought this case and looks very nice. But, I brought this one thinking that will fit my 80GB 5G .. the previous generation, but, I made a mistake.. I wil not return this one.. instead .. I will buy the case that I need .. Griffin.. of course.
  
  
• Stylish iPod Protection

  This case does what it should, which is protect your iPod from scratches and other damage, and it looks amazing. However, you'll need to turn up the brightness setting for your iPod screen to see it in bright sunlight. My only complaint is that the case itself picks up scratches easily, so don't expect it to look perfect for long if you toss it in your briefcase or backpack. I plan to replace mine and keep it in a cloth bag to protect it from scratches as well.

  Fit is absolutely perfect, different back for the 80 or 160 gb models. Love the rubberized back, good grip. Indoor and nighttime the display shows up great, but bright daylight situations can pretty much make the display useless. In these situations the backlight in the ipod doesn't overcome the reflection of the shiny case.

  This case has everything you want: cool, smooth magic mirror design, firm holding of the ipod so it doesnt rattle, an opening for ports so it never has to leave the casing and a very sturdy grip with its rubber back. Its simply the best you can buy!
  
  
• Best Case I've Ever Had

  This case is top shelf for protection and style and I love the way the screen illuminates through the case. This little bit of style magic though, provides the cases only downside: if you want to watch video, then the "magic mirror" surface that covers the screen tends to dim the display.
  
  But that is a minor issue compared to the overall quality and style of this case. This case was a great buy, especially at the Amazon price.
  
  
  
  
• Even more cool factor for your iPod, and functionality too!

  Everybody knows that iPods are just plain neat, but this case amps that factor up just a bit. When turned off, the faceplate is blank, just polished metal looking back at you. But then when the iPod is activated, suddenly the screen "magically" shines through it.
  
  Everybody wants a case for their iPod to keep it from getting scratched up. Why not get one like this? It's cheap, effective, and cool.
  
  My ONE complaint with it, and it's minor, is that the bottom is too thick for me to dock my iPod on a speaker player I had for my previous iPod (may it rest in peace). so if I want to use that, I have to take it out of the case. Minor quibble. Overall, great product.
  
  
  
• This is PERFECT! A MUST BUY!!!!

  As soon as i poped this baby on my ipod 80gb classic, all i could say was WOW! This is exactly what I needed! Protects the WHOLE screen from scratches and other damages to the screen. I can put it on my IHome with out taking off the case, if i do need to take off the case then its really easy! The only con about this case is that when your in really bright daylight its hard to see the screen even on full brightness, but all i do is put it between my legs or put my hand over it to block the sun, its not that big of a deal to me. But other then that this case looks great and works AMAZING. Defiantly a MUST BUY!

  I bought a used and scratched ipod 30 gb and used this with it, as it comes with a back part for the older ipods as well as the new classic model and wow! Looks great and I didn't pay $250 bucks for a new ipod!!

• Very Cool

  The Reflect works as advertised. The screen is a little dimmer than without it, but that was expected. It is still plenty bright and easy to read. As a bonus it doubles as a mirror when you aren't using your iPod screen.
  
  The only drawback is that the mirrored finish seems to scratch fairly easily. We shall see how it holds up over time.

  I LOVE this case with my 160GB iPod! This case fits really well and does protect the iPod from shock and scratches. My ONLY complain would be the open design for the bottom part which is not protected from scratching though it is to provide hassle free docking and charging etc. Absolutely a COOL CASE! P.S- can be used as a real mirror for girls who need to fix their make up! LOL

  I love the product so far - very solid case that fits nicely on my new 160 gb iPod. Definitely keeps it protected. I've had no issues with the 'mirrored' finish so far, though I haven't used the iPod much outside in the sun, and I think that's where problems could occur.

  I had bought it for my ipod only to find that this case would barely fit my ipod, I think it was defective so I sent it back for a new one(thats the only reason i give 4 instead of 5 stars).... other then that, it is a great case and I recommended it for everyone!
