  before i got the case, i've been using clear packaging tape to keep the screen and polished back from scratching. obviously, since i used the tape i'm not really that picky with my case, i just wanted a cheap, clear, hard plastic case.
  
  i just got my case today and i'm satisfied with it. i got the clear one because i got the red nano and wanted the color to show through. i was able to turn the hold switch on and off with ease, be able to plug in my earphones fine, and i was even able to keep the case on when i put it in the dock connector. also the cover and back are snapped on, so it was extremely easy to open and close the case. since the nano is so slim to begin with, the case didn't bulk it up at all and fits really well. i'm still able to put it in my jean pocket with ease (and i'm a 19 year old teen that loves to wear tight jeans).
  
  my only gripe about it...the case makes it a little hard to comfortably press the up, down and side buttons. but seriously it's not that big of a deal! for this case...i know i'll get used to it and there is no such thing as perfect.
  
  if you're looking for a cheap, hard plastic case like me, then this is for you! i haven't tried any other cases, but i don't need to!

  I had gotten crystal hard cases for ipods before and been really satisfied, so I bought this case to protect my new nano. The plastic is cheap, thin and really breakable. It is highway robbery to charge more than a dollar or two for this thing. It does not fit toally perfectly, it provides no protection for the nano screen, and in general I think it just sucks. It seems highly breakable, the only thing holding the two sides of the case together is a little plastic tab. The photo is deceptive. Don't get this piece of junk.

  I got this to protect my new nano. As another reviewer mentioned this is not a very sturdy plastic. My biggest gripe is the total lack of screen protection. I would not purchase this again even if the price was $1.

  This product is really an innovative product in the way that it attaches to the ipod. However it is one of the most poorly constructed cases I have ever seen. It scratches really easily (the screen cover was scratched when I got it) and if you try to take it off it shatters. I would buy the leather case or the rubber covers if you have the option.

  They said in the ad: "it has screen protection", and this is a completely lie.
  In the other hand, the case material is very bad...

• 3G Nano Crystal Case a perfect fit

  If you're looking for a great case to protect your new 3G Nano this is the one. It fits like a glove while allowing you to show off your new Nano. The only downside would be the lack of a belt clip. I also don't think it would protect your Nano from any kind of fall (I haven't tested this out!) like a leather case would but that's the only thing I can think of that worries me about this case. Otherwise the product was delivered as promised and the one call I made to customer service was promptly and satisfactorily answered. A great Nano case from a responsible vendor. Perfect!

  This was a gift for my 14 year old. She likes the color but found that the outside of it gets dirty often and lots of dust gets under it. She needs to keep taking it off of the ipod to clean it. She recommended getting the rubber kind next time.
  
  
• Safety for your Nano - Rubberize-Red

  This review pertains to the rubberized version...I love this case! I love that the rubberization makes it easier to hang on to my Nano and I love that it came in the perfect red to match my (Product)RED iPod! It keeps the Nano from getting scratched or marred and all the controls are easily accessible. I don't even have to remove the case when I put the Nano into my Nike Plus system armband. The Nike plus system fits easily into the charging slot and then the whole thing fits right into the arm band, case and all!
  
  This case has a little hinged door at the bottom that allows access to the charging plug when open, yet protects it when closed while still allowing use of your headphone jack and locking toggle. If you want to set the Nano into a cradle or docking station you will need to remove the Nano from the case entirely depending on the system you are using. Removing the case itself is easy enough it clicks together and can be removed by simply opening the door at the bottom and pulling the case apart. It takes a minute the first time but after that its easy. Plus, the case doesn't leave marks or residue on the Nano itself.
  
  I love that the static screen protectors and mirror backing protectors were included with the case. I tossed the click wheel protector because it really isn't functional and doesn't stay in place. Besides, there isn't really a need for it. This is my third iPod and the fifth one in our house... I've yet to have the click wheel markings fade, and I scroll through a lot.
  
  I've purchased other cases from this seller (PCMicrostore)and I am happy with the quality of the products and with this storefront so far.

  This protective case for my iPOD shipped fast, looks great and protects very well. The cool thing is that it does not hamper the use of the iPOD in any way. The device still easily fits in my iHOME clock radio and my speaker set-up at work without removing the case. The price was also right. I highly recommend this item.
  
  
• Cheapy Alert!! Don't get hopes up!

  I recently bought my first iPod Nano. I carried it around with no protection for awhile and decided I should get a case to protect it. I was going to buy just a plain clear case that looked sturdy but then stumbled upon this really cute black and silver star case. It was so unique (and cheap) I couldn't pass it up! So I purchased it and eagerly awaited it's arrival.
  
  When it came I was so excited I could barely contain myself! I found the case in it's package and quickly opened it. Before I even touched the case itself, the little charger/headphone jack access door fell off. Unbelievable! I tried not to let that ruin the moment. I proceeded to put what was left of the case onto my Nano. It was hard to open and even harder to remove when I decided the case looked terrible and that my headphones didn't even fit when it was on.
  
  Note to self: Read reviews more!! I coulda saved myself from disappointment.

  I chose the aqua leather snap case.
  The case itself is really cute and it was easy to apply the little plastic protector screen to my ipod. There isn't a plastic screen built into the case, you get a little kit that is a firm plastic screen to stick on. It doesn't have messy stickum on it, so I don't need to worry it will leave a mess. Also both sides of it are protected with a backing mask to keep as much lint off as possible before you apply it. I knit and have three cats, anything that helps with lint management is a-ok.
  When the ipod is off you can see an air bubble along the top edge as it is a hair larger than the screen. When it is on, you can't see the bubble and it's not annoying. The case snaps on pretty easy as well, you just need to make sure you snap each corner firmly. So I am thrilled with the quality of the item itself, it's really cute and looks pretty much like the picture and it a really close match to the pearl blue color. I can now pop my ipod into my bag and not worry that it will get wrecked and scratched.
  
  The only thing I don't like is that I paid 12.74 for the expedited shipping which was USPS Priority Mail in a free USPS box, so it cost $4.60 to ship. But that is my own fault for not checking the seller policies more closely before I clicked to send my order. I would enjoy my cute case more if i wasn't kicking myself in the butt for not paying attention.

  I am very happy with this case. I bought the blue leather model for the nano 3G. It snapped together easily and looks really good (not cheap as some other reviewers had said). The plastic film also works really well and doesn't interfere with the wheel. There is plenty of room on the bottom for the power cord, headphone cord, and to access the lock switch.

  I purchased the plastic case in both lilac and green. The case is very cheaply made. The lilac case is acually a red or pink color underneath the lilac. When you scratch it up against something the color scrapes right off. I would not recommend this item.

  I needed a case for my ipod because I take it with me, literally, everywhere. The clear plastic is tinted and cute and very durable. It's a little rickety- little pieces of it broke off and the lanyard was a total bust- its made from a plastic material that is stiff and just really hard to work with but overall, I'd definitely buy this kind oof case again!

  This case was attractive to me because it even covers the ipod's video screen, which, if uncovered, could scratch easily. many ipod cases, especially the virtually indestructible gel ones, do not cover the screen. The problem with this case is that it was poorly made and broke after a couple of weeks of gentle use.

  It opens too easily - I'm afraid my iPod will break if it falls.
  Didn't even come with a screen protector like it says.
  It is SOOOO not worth what I paid for.
