  Totes makes the best umbrellas. And you get a lifetime warranty with it. I had one for 20 years and it finally gave out. Totes sent me a brand new replacement.

  Totes has really done it this time. With the titanium braces you won't have to worry anymore about your umbrella turning inside out. Easy 1 button open/close feature. Well worth the price Folds to 9 inches when closed. Great buy.

  I am very happy with this purchase. It is very small and easy to carry in my messanger bag. It opens easily with a push button and has large coverage against the rain. The wind blew mine inside out once but it was not broken or disabled at all.

  I've been impressed with most totes umbrellas, and I love this one! It's one click open, one click closed design is very reliable and the umbrella overall the construction is great for a compact umbrella. Honestly, it's the best compact umbrella I've ever had. But I think there is more room for improvement, hence the "almost"... a sturdier arc assembly would be welcome because I'm afraid of what will happen in high winds...

  It is very small when closed for an umbrella with such a large canopy. The 54' umbrella this one is replacing was several inches longer, too long to fit in a backpack, but this one fits with room to spare. Build quality seems to be good, although I haven't had a chance to extensively test it out.
  
  
• Compact and easy to use

  My last Totes umbrella lasted over 12 years, then I lost it. So I purchased another one and I hope this will last 12 years too. I've never had a Totes break on me, I just lose them.
  
  This self opening and closing titanium umbrella fits neatly in the side slot of my computer back pack. It's lightweight, I don't even know it's there. Take it out of the sleeve, undo the velcro retainer and push the button, pop! it opens. Walk to the door and push the button and it closes again. (Just the top part folds down to let you get through the doorway.)
  
  It's big enough for just me, I don't think two people could easily share. But that's OK, I'm usually by myself on my walk to the office.
  
  It's a good buy and Totes' warranty covers it for life for any defects. I'm very satisfied with it.

  Four stars for quality mechanism. One star less for lesser quality umbrella cloth/resin / whatever. Its also priced on the higher side.

  A very good umbrella, very wind resistsnt, but not wind proof -- my last one got totaled in a high wind. But I ordered another, because its otherwise a good choice.

  The umbrella seems fairly durable, it opens and closes easily. This was probably the most I've spent on an umbrella, so I am hoping it lasts longer than the dollar store variety.
