  I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to here...
  
  PLEASE ignore Umesh T's review!! He has absolutely no clue how this product works! This is a good product. Umesh spoke of a "shoddy sticker" on the screen. There is a sticker, but it is attached to a very thin film covering the tacky side of the protector. And by the way, there is absolutely NO adhesive on the protector. It's kind of like the feel of the rubber toys they make for children that stick when you throw them against something (e.g., the frig, cabinets, walls). The rubber used to make the toy is tacky.
  
  Here's how the protector is applied: 1. Clean the iPod screen with the included cleaning cloth 2. Grab the sticker tab and remove the thin film (the tab makes it easier to remove) 3. DISCARD this protective thin film/sticker (this is NOT the protector!) 4. Apply the protector (using the "soft card" (it's to remove any air bubbles) if you want to) to the iPod screen.
  
  Last word. The sticker that Umesh T spoke about is 100% attached to the thin film that you DISCARD, and NOT to the iPod touch screen protector.

  The reason why I recommend against it is because of the shoddy sticker on the screen that spoilt the whole thing !
  The screen protector comes with a film on the other end to protect the adhesive (just like with the usual sticker you buy at the store) and each strip has a little instructional sticker that says "pull this out before applying" and "pull this out after applying" attached.
  
  The problem is that the little sticker on the protective screen does not come out cleanly at all ! It leaves a huge ugly patch of glue that smudges a large portion of the screen. I tried removing it gently, even applying little dabs of water but it just won't come out. It just got worse.
  
  Now who would want that ?
  
  It looks like a huge portion of your ipod screen is all smudged up and that is a deal-breaker.

  I just received this screen protector today and it is everything I had hoped it would be. It provides full coverage, it is crystal clear and it doesn't impede the touch screen. Great product, but note that you aren't going to save on shipping by ordering more than one! However, still a good deal compared to similar products. I'm going to order another one, I can't seem to put this things on right the first time, always get microscopic dust particles in there...
  
  Edit: I bought first one from BargainCell... later purchased one from eForcity that did NOT cover entire face; so caveat emptor (buyer beware) because I'm not sure everybody is selling the same thing here!

  This little piece of plastic is a total ripoff. It cost nearly $7 with shipping costs included! The directions are in Japanese, but I guess they assume the horribly drawn pictures will explain how to apply it correctly. Wrong. It says reusable, but when I applied it there were a bunch of air bubbles. When I removed it to reapply, it lost it's stickiness and wouldn't cling well again. What a piece of junk.
  
  I recommend going to Walmart or Target and purchasing a Tuffshield by XtremeMac. Although it costs $15, you get 5 total screen covers, so if you apply one wrong, you still have backups. Also, the directions are in English, and that always helps.

• Beware of the cost of shipping!!!

  I was going to purchase this item, but the actually cost of the item for standard shipping was $5.14 and for expedited shipping $9.15. This .16 cent item becomes very expensive when you factor in the shipping costs. I have Amazon prime which is a good to have if you order frequently from Amazon, but not all items ship directly from Amazon. On occasion products ship from an outside vendor and therefore they charge for shipping. Your better off to go to a local stationary store to make this purchase. I cannot comment on the quality of this product. Only to say that it's not worth the money.

  The moment I received this, I took out my iPod (which had been until then protected by the plastic it came with) and layed this screen on. Now, when I compare it to that brief moment when it wasn't covered at all, it still has the exact same look and exact same feel. It's remarkable, and it puzzles me why it received so many low ratings. After reading all the poor reviews, I have decided that they are, each and every one, misguided.
  
  The sticker. There are, in fact, TWO stickers, one on each side of the protector, and they read (verbatim, including numbers): 1) Please peel off this mask BEFORE application, 2) Please peel this mask off AFTER application completed. I noticed that one review states that they are glued to the product with "unremovable glue." Yes, they are. So that you can use these stickers (which stick out about a centimeter past the edge of the screen), and peel the thin-film covers off. Not the stickers themselves...THE COVERS. So in the end, you are left with a sticker-free screen protector that isn't even noticeable.
  
  Now, about those tricky air bubbles. As I put it on, a few started to form, so before I lay the whole thing down, I pulled it back until there were none left, and slowly (slllooowwwwlyyy) worked it up by pushing down on the end of the screen in my hand, and using the small wiping cloth to push down the screen little by little so no bubbles formed. Yeah, so it takes a little patience. I'm happy to spend forty seconds applying it right rather than rushing it and ending up with, well, much less desirable results.
  
  I believe this has already been mentioned, but since I'm touching all bases here, THERE IS NO ADHESIVE. It is sticky, tacky, grippy, whatever you want to call it. It's gotta stay ON the iPod somehow, right? Adhesive is glue, and there is absolutely no glue. Whatsoever.
  
  One last thing: I noticed that each time I return to this page, a different seller is listed. Maybe we're all getting different things. I got mine from Vortex Cable. Sure, it's $.27 instead of $.15, but for $2.95 shipping (total= $3.12) you get a terrific product. Don't hesitate; buy it.

  This is a terrible product. The description says that the protector is non-adhesive. Yet when I removed the plastic backing, the corner of the thing STUCK to my finger. NON-ADHESIVE THINGS DON'T STICK. So I laid it on the desk "non-adhesive" side up to wipe my fingerprint off the corner with the included cloth. I held it down and wiped the corner with the included cloth. The cloth left lint where I was holding it down and where I wiped the original fingerprint.
  
  Long story short, this product is ABSOLUTELY ADHESIVE! Don't put it on your Touch unless you want to ruin the screen with glue.

  Very disappointing product. Stickers are glued to the product with unremovable glue, so you end up with an ugly sticker in the corner of your beautiful iTouch, which is a deal breaker for me.

  This product is okay but it retains the skin oils and smears a lot on the screen. i wish I had just cut the tab off the orginal cover when I bought the iTouch and just used that in congunction with a protective case.

  This is also a great buy along with the gel protective skin. This is real easy to apply and definetly keps you ipod touch's screen nice and clean. You'll still have to clean it like you would do the ipod's screen because it still does get fingerprints on it, but its easy, just use some water or windex or something, and your ready to go again!

  Pros: It covers the whole screen, it protects said screen, and it is really really cheap.
  
  Cons: You must have an exact fit and a very clean screen or else you are left with air bubbles that are impossible to remove without attempting to reapply it.
  
  I doubt if any other screen protector is better than this one and you can't beat the price. I would recommend it.

  When I received this in the mail, there was a sticker on each side of the clear screen, and when I went to take them off, it left alot of sticker residue on the clear screen. I went to wash off the residue. After washing it, I tried the apply the clear screen to the iPod but it wouldn't stay on. It said it was reusable but "clearly" it wasn't reusable let alone usable at all. The screen i thought was to protect the ipod from scratches and normal wear and tear, but the screen was just sitting in my iPod's DLO flip case for a month and got scratches on it itself. When I did try to apply it, it made the iPod look crappier, and decreased the iPod's touch sensitivity. After discarding the clear screen, I realized the iPod is much better without it and that it was a waste of money. I had my iPod for a long time now and there's not a single scratch on my iPod's screen. The iPod touch's screen is highly durable and doesn't need a protective screen to protect it. I must say, the only good thing I got from this buy was the wipe cloth that came with it..

  I don't really need to go into much detail. You're better off leaving the plastic that came on the unit on and then using a pair of extremely small scissors to cut out a little hole for the home button.
  I used this product IMMEDIATELY after taking my IPT out of the box that it came in. It was more holey than a chunk of cheese.
  Choose something else. It's worth it.

  Firstly, to potential buyers, this IS NOT a full front cover for the iPod touch. In the picture, it shows the screen protector covering the whole of the front of the iPod. In fact, it only covers the touchscreen part, which is all you need it for, but it just looks a bit strange.
  
  Anyway, moan finished. Apart from that, it is a good product. As long as you carefully read the instructions, there should be no problems with installation. Despite it only covers half of the front, it looks fine, and with this screen protector (as opposed to another brand), it actually improves touch screen responsiveness.
  
  Generally, for the couple of dollars you're paying for this product, it is definitely worth it.

  I'm sure this is a great protector but...I carefully applied the film (using the middle piece as many people here have said) and even a small squeegee that came with another protector set --- all was going perfectly fine until I found one tiny pin dot of a bubble right in the middle of the screen. Mistakenly I decided to take it off and try again and that was that. It never went back on perfectly and now I have to buy another one. This is my 3rd ipod and I've used these types of protectors on those plus my blackberry phone without any problems. It was my error but seriously, if they are that delicate they should include TWO films per package.

  I'm sure these would work fine if you could get the sticky off the protective screen and if that doesn't bother you then they work great. But when you remove the small labels, a sticky film is left on the protective screen and who wants that? I ended up throwing them away the same day I received them.

  If your looking for a cheap alternative to an otherwise expensive product, than look no farther if you need a screen prtoector. It's not the most durable of the bunch, but i figure even if you have to buy three or four, its the same price as if you bought one from a local store. I was a little disheartened that i already need to replace the screen protector i got, but i am not sure any other screen protector is really different. Why a little piece of palstic is so expensive is beyond me. No one should have to pay more than $2.00 for any screen cover. But that is just this reviewers opinion. Fcor the msot part it gets the job done.

  The screen cover had a sticker on it that was so dried on that I couldn't remove it. Who wants a blue sticker on the screen of a new iPod touch screen or for any screen ????

  The iphone screen is made of glass. People have purposefully scratched the screen up with nails and it still looks fine, no scratches. This is a unnecessary product, not worth a cent. That's my two cents.

  I bought this as a replacement for the cover that came with the iskins case for my touch thinking by the reviews that it would be better and easier to get the air bubbles out. After carefully putting it on per directions it is no easier and no better than the cover I had on. I am somewhat disappointed but it was a gamble that only cost my three dollars. You get what you pay for. My advise is to buy a good case and keep the one that comes with the case.

  I got this with the I touch at Christmas and its extreamly clear, when i show the itouch to people they dont realise its there. Its held on by static which is very necessary because it's near impossible to get it applied to the screen without some dust being trapped under there producing one or several big ugly air bubbles. It drove me to distraction when I first tried to apply it, i even tryed cleaning the cover with soap and water, lens cleaning cloths nothing worked. However after 5 hours I did find the solution. Use a lens cleaning cloth to clean the itouch, then if there is dust on the cover film then use one of those sticky tape rollers you use for taking dust and hears off your cloths, roll the film on the side you are going to apply to the itouch. Sounds rediculous but it works, i applied it to the itouch screen, pushed out the air bubbles, no dust & clear. Obviously try to fit the film when you take it out of its packing, but if you are seeing air bubbles that are caused by dust its the only way to clear them.
  
  Have had no problems since, works perfectly.
