Good for pics, Bad for video By A36D5BEMSK8O1 on 2008-05-08
One of the reasons we bought our new Olympus digital camera was to take simple video without carrying around a separate digital video camera. We bought this memory card, but never saw anywhere listed that you can only take 10 seconds of video at a time with a Type-M XD card. In fact, I had to dig deep into Olympus' site to find that information out. Now I have two XD cards, Type-M and Type-H. Would have been helpful to know prior. For normal pictures, however, works just fine. But if you want video, pony up for the more expensive Type-H card.

I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH MY OLYMPUS XD PICTURE CARD. IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY AND ALLOW ME TO TAKE 294 PICTURES AT SUPER HQ ON MY OLYMPUS STYLUS 710.
Great card By A2C77WFVMXHGM7 on 2008-02-20
I have many Olympus XD cards and they have always been great. I have never had any prolems with any and this 2g one is amazing because of all of the pictures that it can hold... At 7.1 megapixels, it can hold over 1000 pictures.
Olympus 2 Gb xD memory card By A2LF9XIK912IUI on 2008-03-03
I bought this card as a back up card for my E510, with the primary card being a 4 Gb CF card. Not recommended unless you use it as a backup card (like me) or your Olympus camera only takes xD cards. They are slow and small in capacity (2 Gb max). I must say that they are better than the Fuji xD H cards, though.
Olympus 2 G xD Picture Card By A25GKCFQ33U3M8 on 2008-03-02
I purchased this card before a vacation where I expected to take a lot of photos and videos. I had no problem with the card and it holds 744 photos at the SHQ 2288x1712 setting or 1 hour and thirty minutes of video at the HQ setting.
- great card

- works great
     By A1CJLOGQYM72D4 on 2008-01-14
when you buy extra cards you don't have to remove good pic's from the card and keep them as you would cd's in case you lose your picture files on the computer.

     By AFN6QMMX6ZSRD on 2008-04-15
I bought this product to go with my new Olympus digital camera. I took it with me on a trip to Paris and took 2,630 photos and still had room to spare! An excellent product (as is the camera).
- I'm not sure why Olympus uses a proprietary card.
     By A30RCPSO22PMKV on 2008-06-18
I recently purchased a Olympus digital camera. It had a good price and I knew that Olympus made good products. It was the third digital camera I had bought. My first was a Fuji, my second a Kodak. Both of those used SD cards.
When I opened the box, I then discovered that I would need to use the xd card instead of an SD card.
I'm using the camera--maybe I'll review that as well. Everything is working. But the next time I buy a camera, I will think twice before buying from a company that uses proprietary media. I'd rather have the option of using a cheaper and more available SD card. I don't see any significant differences, other than the fact that the XD chip is not as readily available.
- The Olympus 2GB memory card
     By A1WVYQTF23P6M on 2008-07-15
I bought the Olympus 2GB xD card for my Olympus camera. Some features of the camera aren't available with non-Olympus cards, but if you try buying these cards in electronics or department stores you might pay about $40 or more for the same thing.
I'm very happy with it and it works great. I have already taken about 300 pictures, and have had no problems at all.
- Plenty of storage, but very slow to write.
     By A2K1QSH5OMT25P on 2008-01-29
The xD format is the only type of card my Fuji F30 will accept, so I'm stuck with a card that has nice capacity (337 images at full 6MP Fine resolution)...but takes seemingly FOREVER to write files.
Granted, it COULD be that the F30 itself is a bit slow, but I think it has more to do with the sluggish write speed of the M-type card. The slow performance seriously hampers shot-to-shot speed with the camera.
- Olympus xD picture card
     By A86K58D2BXHX0 on 2008-03-07
If you own the Olympus E-410 and you want to take panoramas you must use this card. The E-410 will hold this card as well as a CF card. You can switch between the cards, but only the xD card can be used for panoramas. I've found that it is a bad idea to use the xD card for anything else but panoramas because of the way the pictures are labled. Keeping the different types apart seems to work. If anyone has another idea I'm open to suggestions.
- Good price, but then they shank you on shipping!
     By A2WKS1JQQKCSD2 on 2008-03-10
I think $19.95 for this item was a reasonable price. But why $10 to ship? Please tell me why spending $0.41 USPS wouldn't have gotten it to me just as well?
- awesome

this product is the best, so i asked you to go for it, you want be disappointed.
- Great value

Great memory card. A little slower than the "H" type card, but definately worth the money!

I do not know much about memory card. I do not know that, this card is better or not as good as the other cards. But this card works OK.
- Reliable product...

I've had this memory card for a couple of months now and it's been very reliable. Good product at a good price.
- Olympus 2GB xD Picture Card Type M for FE-250
     By A2HFFIC5X7HTTQ on 2008-02-15
I am satisfied with the performance. I can take lots of picture depending on the pixel settings. It also offers about 50 minutes of the movie time. I always buy the camera brand memory to make sure that all functions are supported. I definitely recommend it.
- large enough, cheap enough
     By A3CC0L40QDFVJR on 2008-02-24
it always bothered me that olympus DCs require xD care which is more expensive than SDs and most others. But this price is affordable, using m750 I can record up to 1 and a half hours, which is great!
- Olympus 2 MB XD Picture Card
     By A3V5ECBGTIQZ0G on 2008-02-29
The price and shipping were both great. The picture card works great too. I wanted an Olympus card to use in my new SP-560UZ camera to take advantage of the panorama picture mode it offers. I am very pleased with the purchase.
- great, but only compatible with certain models...
     By A1D0Z9S5EF71N5 on 2008-03-06
Beware! make sure your camera, memory holder, or whatever you're using this xd card for, make sure it is COMPATIBLE with the xd card! double check, read up on it! I sure made that mistake, and it wasn't compatible, and ended up giving it to my friend, but she says it works great =)
- Works great
     By A36UV9RVMTN7ZW on 2008-04-01
Though i wish that Olympus and Fujifilm would give up on XD's, they work well and are really small. Only downside is that they're kind of expensive, but if you get them online, verses in a story, you can get them for almost half the price.
Oh, and at 5mp, you can get 1667 pictures on there, or at 8mp, 998 of them. For video, that's almost half an hour (28:54) of recording.
- memory card rocks
     By A3L4EC5V9NY2E1 on 2008-04-07
Great memory card to have with my new Olympus camera, you need this card for panoramic pics on the Olympus Stylus 850SW.

I got this and loved it from the very start. I loved it so much I bought
another one. Plus the FREE shipping is the best.
- +++ super card+++
     By A8AIR9Y29H2IH on 2008-04-19
I needed a xD card, because I bought a new camera (Olympus Stylus 1030SW, the best camera ever, because waterproof until 10m) and I bought this card.
It's working fine and it was a very good deal.
You can buy it without any worrys.
- Works as it should
     By A35EEFEXVYX87B on 2008-04-28
I used this card with my new Olympus camera and no problems, although only two weeks later the new M+ card came out (sigh!) so now I have one card of each with room for tons of fine pics.
- Great product!
     By AHV764SNOW5TZ on 2008-07-01
Great replacement for my Fuji FinePix S5000.
Works great with video files as well.
- good but run a little slow
     By A2PIPMZWREN8T3 on 2008-08-05
my camera is Olympus C5000, which takes a longer time to read 2GB card than 156M card.
- Good choice...
     By A1Q8W0UVZF1NG8 on 2008-08-31
You can get cheaper 2 GB cards but if you want to use it for panoramic pictures with your Olympus 850 SW (and others in the Olympus series) you will need this one. It costs more than the others but technology has its price I guess.
- Olympus card
     By AX69IWPAHEO64 on 2008-01-25
I thought the Olympus Picture card was to be used in the Canon camera I purchased, but it won't fit.
