    Oh my gosh! After I tried the other Women's Health dvd's with Amy Dixon as the trainer, (Ultimate Fat Burn & Total Workout in 10), I could not wait for the release of this dvd. The wait was worth it! I don't recommend this video for beginners as it is pretty fast paced and hard core. Amy does a fantastic job of informing the viewer of what the next step will be and giving instructions on the correct form. There is a person there doing modifications also. There is cardio, strength training, core work and a bonus section on yoga stretching.
    I highly recommend this video!!!

    I really love these new Women's Health workout series. I have the previous series and lost interest quickly with those. Not these workouts. Amy Dixon is very energetic and encouraging. I found this workout to be very fast paced and well structured. It took a couple times going through to get all the moves but you definitely feel the workout later in the day and by the next day. I found the moves to really work the trouble areas we all have and like the burn afterwards, not to mention sweat. This is a great total body workout and one you can do in segments depending on what area you want to work. I loved all the sections and the bonus segment as well. Hope to see more Amy Dixon workouts by Women's health. A real keeper.

    This workout is somewhat challenging and fun. Amy isn't annoying to listen to, either.
    It is broken up into three main segments, a 25 minute cardio section, 20 minutes of strength and a 10 minute ab section. There is also a bonus yoga stretch at the end.

    I couldn't wait to get this DVD after using Amy Dixon's other two (Total Workout and Ultimate Fat Burn). She is very motivating and gives great ques for what's coming up. Awesome cardio and strength work. This kicks my booty so I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. Thank you Amy Dixon for another great DVD!

    I own all the Women's Health DVDs and though I absolutely love all of them, I have to say that this is my favorite. I am very picky when it comes to instructors and I love Amy Dixon. She is a clear and encouraging instructor but without the annoying personality. I consider myself to be at an intermediate level and this DVD is just challenging enough. The strength and abs/core sections are very effective and I really feel the results afterwards. Also excellent is Ultimate Fat Burn, which always works up a good sweat.

    I am very pleased with this video. The next day after doing this workout, I can definitely feel it in my muscles. I also like the instructor....she is easy to follow and isn't too "chatty."

    I was pleasantly surprised by Amy Dixon's enthusiasm and direction. This is a great 30 minute cardio workout with an additional 35 minute full body weight routine. You won't bulk up as she uses light weights, and she integrates full body moves using the light weights encorporating the core a great deal.

    I enjoy the Amy Dixon workouts, but this one isn't my favorite. Of the three I have I much prefer the Workout in 10 or the Ultimate Fat Burn. The moves in this video can get a little complicated once you start combining all of them at once (of course I'm not known for being coordinated, so that might have something to do with it.) and I don't feel like they're that great. In Workout in Ten and Ultimate I really enjoy the cardio and feel the spike in heart rate and all that. After the cardio in this one, I just don't feel the same. I would recommend the other two first, but if you already have them and you're dying for some more Amy Dixon, this one isn't bad.

    I bought this DVD after doing Amy's UFB and TW10 DVDs for weeks on end and finally getting bored with them. This DVD seems a little harder than the other two, depending on how you do it. I will be honest and admit that I've never done this entire DVD in one sitting (not that I'm actually sitting. I wish!) It is 67 minutes long and, since I refuse to get up before 5:00, I don't have that much time. But I have been alternating, doing either the cardio and the core sections together, or strength and core together. Then on "slower" days I do just the core followed by the bonus yoga segment. I have never done yoga before, but I enjoy that bonus segment now and then. Feels really good but still makes you feel like you did something "extra". My trouble spot is definitely the kidney fat on my lower back. I saw results in my body tone while doing Amy's UFB and TW10, EXCEPT in my abs/back. So I was getting very discouraged. That is why I tried this DVD and always do the Core & More section. And I do think in the few weeks I've been doing it, I can feel some firmness finally happening back there. So if any of you are specifically looking for core work like I was, I would definitely recommend this DVD of Amy's over her other two. My one complaint is that, during the core section, Amy says to "Follow Stephanie for a modified workout." (She does that in all her DVDs, and usually you can notice that the modifier person is doing easier moves.) However, on this section, I don't see Stephanie doing ONE thing different than anyone else. So on days my body is telling me to take it easy, that is very frustrating and annoying. Otherwise, this DVD is another butt-kicker with a little different format than Amy's other two. So if you love Amy like I do but want something a little different, give this one a shot!

    I enjoy the video! It's much more varied than most workout sets. I enjoy that you can pick portions you want to do (core, strength, etc) or it's a complete workout if you choose.

  • Perfect Body Workout

    This is a great DVD. I just started this workout a few weeks ago. I have been working out to Denise Austin for many years now and needed a change. This is a great Cardio workout and has also helped me firm up the entire body. It is fun! If you are looking for variety and have time to dedicate, this is the one. I was used to working out only 4 times a week for 1/2 hour. This DVD is at least 1 hour long. Makes a big difference in the calories you will be able to burn.

    I love all of Amy Dixon's videos. This one is no exception! I just got it and ran through it once. It's pretty tough and much more comprehensive than her others. It's definitely for a day when you have at least an hour but she puts your body through a great workout! I like how it has all three components, cardio, weights and then abs. Amy is a great instructor and I am grateful for her and Women's Health! They have made me an exercise DVD fan!!!!!!

    I have all of Amy's workout DVDs and I love all of them. She is a great instructor. Her cueing is good. She is encouraging without being annoying.

    The workout itself is challenging. After a vacation of sitting on the beach I came home to workout with Amy again and I was really tired. It's amazing how much endurance and strength you loose in a short time! I specifically like the segmenting of the video. This morning I did the cardio portion and tomorrow I will do the strength portion. I workout in the morning and don't always have enough time for a full workout.

    This is absolutely one of my favorite workout DVD's. I just love Amy. She is such a great workout instructor. She gives you perfect instruction and prepares you for what is coming up. I have one of her other videos as well and it is just as good.

    The workout itself is just great. You get a really great total body burn without crazy moves that are hard to learn/follow.

    I would consider myself in good shape, but don't be intimidated if you are a beginner. You can easily modify with this workout and build up to the full throttle work out.

    You will not be disappointed with this video. It is fun and leaves me wanting to do it again and again; unlike some of the others I have wasted my money on in the past. I highly recommend it.

    Great workout. Initially, I didn't know whether I should choose individual segments or if I should do the entire thing, but I did the entire thing and I was worked out. I even opted to choose the cardio segment and the strength segment separately and it was still great. The environment Amy Dixon creates with her assistants/cohorts in the back was extremely motivating and upbeat. I would recommend this to anyone... even beginners (who just need a bit of practice).

    This is a great at home work out video. Amy Dixon keeps you motivated and certainly makes you sweat! I had been doing other workouts, and running, but found myself really working to get thru this one. Good investment money wise and health wise.

  • WH Perfect Body Workout DVD

    Although it is not the workout discribed in the book "WOMEN'S HEALTH PERFECT BODY DIET", it is a good workout and Amy Dixon is a very energetic and encouraging instructor. The only annoying thing about thte DVD, is that the menu will not allow you to skip the commercials at the begining of the video, so you have to go through these each time you use the DVD.

    This is my 2nd Women's Health workout DVD & while I like the other one, I love this one! 90% of the time I do not enjoy DVD cardio workouts - most of the time they are too dancy or have to many jumps in them, but the cardio section in this dvd is great! The moves are completely different than anything I have ever done before. While I was sore the next day, it was a great workout. The strength section was also enjoyable, but some of the moves I had to watch her go through them once before joining in. Even though I felt great after & could feel it the next day. The bonus yoga athletic segment is a great stretch - the towel makes a much bigger difference than I thought it would. I would highly recommend this dvd!

    Amy Dixon gives really clear directions and lead time before switching moves. Her voice and comments are more helpful than distrcting.

    I like that the DVD is divded into segments: warm-up, cardio, strength, stretches. The two problems I have with it are first off, the Pre-built workout has some lag time in the transitions. It is basically palaying the whole DVD which leads to my second problem, which is the whole workout is too long for me! I'd like a nice balanced 45 minute or so workout for teh pre-built one, but it's over an hour. It's easy to work around with the remote, but that is why it is 4, not five stars in my book. The workout has me winded and sore- both good signs since I got it to get back in shape and lose some pregnancy pounds.

    This was good for the strength sequins. The cardio required coordination, but wasn't quite challenging enough for me. I will keep in the mix, but it's not as challenging as you would think.

    I really enjoy this product and use it everyday. I feel like it gives me a great workout and the strength training portion can't be beat. Definately hard for a beginner, but great for someone who is already in shape and is looking for a good workout.

    I viewed this exercise DVD as soon as I received it. The menu is in segments which makes it easy to pick and choose which exercise routine you want to do at that time, i.e. cardio, strength, core.
