• Too big for my 4.3" Garmin 760 Nuvi

  Got it half price as part of a special Amazon promotion, but I didn't realize how much bigger the case is than the GPS it protects. The width is okay (5 3/8", but could have been almost 1/2" shorter for a better fit) and so is the depth (1 1/4"), but the height is 4 1/8" compared to the 3" height of my Nuvi. So there is an inch of empty space on top, and whereas the unprotected Nuvi is pocketable, the Nuvi in this case is not. The case will protect my GPS, but I would much preferred it to be more form-fitting. My mistake for getting a universal case designed to fit a variety of GPS models.

  While the construction of this case is very nice, it doesn't fit the Garmin Nuvi units that it's being promoted with. As the previous reviewer said, it's nearly an inch too big. It also has various open slots that prevent you from using the extra space to hold accessories.
  
  The Garmin case fits the Nuvi widescreen units perfectly, and the side panels are rigid enough the protect the screen well. Despite the Amazon product title, it works fine with the 700-series Nuvis and not just the older 660. It's a much better choice for these units.

  This case fits the Navigon 7100 perfectly which is what I would expect since this product is from Navigon.
  
  The item itself is made of hard leather with a very thin felt liner which wouldn't protect your GPS from damage if it fell onto hard concrete. This is more of a carrying case to be packed into something else.
  
  The magnetic closure is nice but there was no ring for a strap on the case I received -- would have been useful in that the hard leather is smooth and a little slippery.
  
  At full price the case would be too expensive for my taste. At 2/3 the price it's just right. At 1/3 the price buy two to stock up.

  Leaving electronics such as cell phones and GPS units, or any of their accessories, visible inside your vehicle when you leave the car is asking for trouble. ANY sign that devices like these are present should be fully hidden from view. For safe concealment of a GPS a well designed case is essential for protecting the GPS from scratches and other damage while stored. This well built case fulfills that need.

  The Navigon 4.3" case is quite large for the Garmin Nuvi 200W. It really is too big for this GPS.

  As with other reviewers, Amazon suggested I buy this with the Garmin Nuvi 760. Although the case's construction/quaulity is fine by itself, it is definitely too big for the Nuvi. Now that I already have the case I will continue using it rather than spend money for a replacement, but if I had it to do over again I would order the case that goes with the Nuvi 660/760.

  Navigon advertises "fits 4.3" GPS units from all major brands". The case is .75 inch too wide, over 1.0 inch too tall, and .25 inch too deep. My Garmin Nuvi200w rattles around in this case. "Yes" its a Premimum Leather case, but "no" it does NOT fit my GPS Unit. I am returning this case, paying for postage, and taking a loss of 15% for a re-stocking fee.

  The case's fit on 4.3 inch GPS unit is just perfect. It provides good protection with a chic look of my Magellan 1200. Also the smell of new leather is just great!!

  Ok, short sweet and to the point.
  
  I got this case for my Garmin nuvi 660 (which by the way I also love!!! Garmin nüvi 660 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator). I wanted something a little more secure than the little "sleeve" that it came with, and the shaped leather, and magnetic closing flap of this one fit the bill perfectly. At the time I ordered my Garmin from Amazon.com, there was a special where I could get this case for just [...]. So glad I did!
  
  Summary? LOVE the case, would totally recommend it to anyone and everyone! Why 4 out of 5 stars? Because even though it's awesome, $20 is still too much in my opinion for a case...any case. But hey, if the price doesn't scare you off, then go for it! I promise you won't regret it!

  I bought this product for my Navigon 7100 and it fits perfectly. It has a magnetic closing style. It protects and doesn't add too much bulk.
  
  
• Good for protection - Bulky for convenience

  This product is pretty good for protecting larger GPS Units. However it is an overkill for my GARMIN Nuvi 650. If you don't intend to carry your unit with you other than driving. It is a very good protection for storing it in the cramped glove compartment or center console. But it you intend to take it along while you are hiking or biking, you'll be better off with a more compact case.
  
  As a product the quality is very good and it looks quite durable. I expect it will outlive my GPS.
  
  I suggest comparing the dimensions of your unit to the case measurements as, I later found out, there are more suitable ones.
