  These are a waste of money. The sticker left residue on the plastic and then the plastic did not adhere to the gps screen! Don't buy it

  I hate to be disparaging about fellow shoppers but they seem pretty clueless. First of all, the protector is sandwiched between 2 protective thin plastic shields. The stickers that everyone is complaining about are there to help with peeling the shield off the protector - and they do that very well. I guess these people can't read cause it says right on the sticker to use it to help peel the protective layer off. Sheesh! It comes with a small cleaning cloth to get rid of smudges. I think 4 in the pack is a good deal (especially with free shipping - thanks Amazon). They fit the Navigon 7100 perfectly. I used one for my 7100 and the other for my wife's unit. Then I trimmed down the 2 other pieces to fit our cell phones. Even if we only had one 7100 you will probably need the extra in case you make a mistake applying the first one. The trick is to make sure the screen is clean and free of dust then apply the protector slowly. Next push out any trapped air bubbles by rubbing them with the small cloth. One thing you absolutely cannot do is try to peel off and reposition the protector once it is applied - this will leave permanent smudges on the sticky side of the protector - thus the second one will come in handy. The plastic looks very sturdy and should last for the life of the unit - or until it somehow gets ruined by my wife's fingernail polish.
  
  I downgraded it 1 star for the following 2 reasons. First, it comes with no instructions in the package. The only help is written on those little stickers that apparently nobody reads anyway. Second, the item description says it helps reduce glare. This is absolutely not true. The Navigon touchscreens come from the factory with a nice matte anti-glare finish. The protector is glossy plastic that while it is glarefree - you will definately notice reflections on the screen.
  
  So go ahead and get this product if you want to protect your GPS screen - it will excel at that.

  The package has 4 pieces of film for protection but only 2 fit each model advertised. $9.99 for 4 is ridiculous for when only 2 fit, that makes the price outrageous. They are the same as what was applied by the manufacture when shipped.

• Practical notes about an expensive product with no instructions

  This is a very pricey product when you realise that you'll only ever use at most 2 of the 4 pieces inside, unless you have multiple touchscreens to protect.
  
  However, here are my practical tips from my experience. First of all, the side of the touchscreen labelled Front is the side that is placed onto the touch screen. Go figure. Maybe I just got a mislabelled package? The side labelled Back is actually the side you're going to be touching. If you find that your protector moves around freely when you place it on the screen, turn it over immediately. It doesn't seem to use glue, it's some sort of static/cohesive effect, sort of like plastic wrap for sandwiches. It's a magnet for dust, pulls it right out of the air.
  
  Put it on slowly, starting at one end and smooth it out to avoid air bubbles.
  
  Since it's not adhesive, you can lift it up again with no problem, but don't touch the underside of the screen with your finger, the oils will smudge it. Just slide the vertex of one of the front/back protective plastics the protector came with under the edge of the protector and lever it up.
  
  So, if you do smudge it, as I did by putting the "front" upward and then touching it, I find that water temporarily neutralises the cohesive effect and you can wash it. You then need to figure out how to dry it without dust settling on it or touching the cohesive side. I just leaned mine nearly vertically against my warm router, with the cohesive side under, it dried overnight, but wasn't perfect.
  
  It was a poor call on Navigon's part not to include instructions. I guess they figured that they would sell more, but they have to contend with bad reviews like this. Good call. At least the Navigon 7100 GPS I bought is amazing, a full 5 stars.

  I have owned this item for about a month now, and have utilized this product everytime I turn the GPS on. From my standpoint, this product is a 5 star rating. It is a great protector against any scratches to the lense of you'r GPS. However, the only thing I would change is the packaging, which comes with two 4.3' screens as well as two smaller sizes. The two smaller sizes to me are ueless, and are a waste of money, time, and resources for those who have a larger screen size. As for the shipping, my product was on my door step in less than 3 days from it's order date. Overall this is a great product in my books. No problems thus far. Thanks Amazon!

  NAVIGON 7100 is simple then Garmin nüvi 360.
  NAVIGON 7100 look is also good then Garmin nüvi 360.
  The only thing is good in Garmin nüvi 360 is its MP3 player and Image viewer.
  But NAVIGON 7100 perfect for every one who is new with gps then Garmin nüvi 360.
  
  My 1st choice is NAVIGON 7100. This all are my personal review GARMIN dont fell bad.

  The film wouldn't stick to the surface of my Navigon screen, bubbles were constantly there no matter which way I put it on the screen. Just not worth the money I spent. Sorry

  DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. AFTER APPLYING TO MY SCREEN I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A SCRATCH IMMEDIATELY AFTER. I HAD CLEANED MY GPS SCREEN PRIOR TO APPLICATION AND APPLIED CORRECTLY PEELING BOTH SIDES OFF AS INSTRUCTED. THIS PRODUCT IS A HARD PIECE OF FLEXIBLE PLASTIC WITH A LITTLE BIT OF SOME SORT OF ADHESIVE ON THE BACK. DOES NOT FIT 4.3" INCH SCREEN PROPERLY. IT IS TOO SMALL AND SLIDES AROUND. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE AND SAVE YOUR SELF SOME FRUSTRATION.
