  Our GRANDchildren were so thrilled to receive the seal. We had gone to five local stores and they did not have the product in stock. The boys were very disappointed. I went home, contacted Amazon and by Wednesday, three days later, we had the very important seals. For children, time is important. Thank you, Amazon!

• Website doesn't work for new members

  My daughter has been so excited, hoping that Santa would bring her a few webkinz, because she has heard so much about playing with them on the webkinz website. Santa was kind enough to leave three Christmas morning.However, GANZ/WEBKINZ was not nice enough to provide a working website, Christmas morning, or the 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st and counting. I have tried to get some response from the company regarding this problem, but there is no link to an actual customer service email address on the webkinz site, unless you are REGISTERED! The address on the GANZ site gets NO response whatsoever. YOu may notice that the one part of my review I rated above 1 star was durablilty. It's quite simple- if it don't work, children don't play with it. Looks like, at this rate, my daughter''s webkinz will last forever ! Now, that's what I call durability ! The Better Business Bureau list this company as unsatisfactory, now you know why !

  He thought that the seal was only released in Canada so he will be surprised on Christmas when he see the seal. You can't go wrong with Webkinz, kids love them.

  Make sure your child is ready for a Webkinz before buying this or any other one! My son wasn't ready when he got one last year - he was completely overwhelmed by the website and very disappointed. So we put it away until now, when he's more mature and has seen others play online. But little did I know that use of the website expires after a year! They send you a notice - but only on the site - so if you're not on the site, you don't know. There's a one month grace period, and then that's it - you can no longer use that Webkinz pet online. Now it is simply a so-so stuffed animal Their answer? Buy another one!

  I get it--- sometimes we get less than we expect. But this is not just the Christmas rush----I have been all over the Internet, and Webkinz has been having support problems since at least September! That they did not anticipate larger than normal Xmas traffic is suspect--that they are not handling the disappointment now is unforgivable. Send the following email to the store where you received your non-functioning, $15 stuffed animal that does nothing--because from the sounds of it, there are thousands of us out there! "Hi [store name]: My email is ------. This will seem like a small complaint to you, and I am sure you can do nothing about it, but I want you to know that I have several other friends who have had the same experience. Prior to Christmas, I purchased two Ganz Webkinz at your ---- store. My girls received these from `Santa.' To our dismay, they did not work on the Webkinz site--the site said both codes had already been used. Now, I know this is not true, as I bought them at your store, and your clerk took care to tell me that Webkinz were not returnable. The Webkinz site has admitted, via their bulletin to parents, that there has been difficulty--but it is now 10 days past Christmas and I, along with several friends, have not received satisfaction from the company. It seems to me that a store like ----- should not carry such a shoddy product with such poor customer service. I hope you will at least complain to them on my behalf, as apparently the consumer has no power whatsoever with this company. I thank you for the many, many other quality products I have purchased from your store. This is most certainly not one of them. ---[name]"

• Technical problems and customer service nightmare!

  My kiddos love Webkins and my older daughter has been able to play and add her new pets without any problems, but my youngest daughter has had nothing but problems. She couldn't log in, then when she finally was able to she got a message saying that the secret code of her brand new webkin had already been used, then the next time the new pet did show up but she hadn't been able to complete the adoption, and now she can't get into "my room" at all. This has happened with all 3 of her new Webkinz. I have followed the instructions and sent polite and thorough explanations through the poorly designed customer service links provided on the website and so far have only received canned responses saying that someone will get back to me in 1-3 days. My emails were sent 4 days ago. Great idea, great product, but these problems and the unprecedented poor level of customer service give this toy a poor review. I hope they are able to fix their problems and if the can't, I hope someone comes along and does it better.
  
  
• Cute, but not as fun as some of the other Webkinz

  My daughter has spent a few hours playing with this toy. It gets dirty a bit easily because it is white. The ansence of arms and/or legs makes it so she cannot dress up this animal the way she can her other Webkinz. The educational value comes from the video link to the games on the Internet. (Without computer access, the educational value disappears.) Because of the limitations of the physical version of this toy, my daughter actually enjoys playing with its virtual counterpart more.

  These toys are educational and the fun never ends. You get not only a plush toy but a virtual one as well that your child (or you) can feed, dress and interact with. I have had to was a few of these in the washing machine and they hold up pretty well. I don't throw it in the dryer, but let it air dry instead and that perks them right up. My children range from 1-11 and they all enjoy these pets so it's a good gift idea for a child whom you aren't sure of their interests. The white webkinz get dirty faster and don't stay as crisp, but who doesn't know that already?

  My Daughter an an enormous Love of all animals, she received the Seal for Christmas and has had a wonderful experience with the site, it is educational, teaching aspects with money, getting a job, meeting new friends and learning how to take care of her new pet. I would highly recommend this to any parent.

  This webkinz is one of bestselling i have ever seen! Online you recive the virtual pet, and the special icy bathtub. I would buy this seal even if i only knew 1 thing about webkinz world. It is an all white toy.
