Protects from scratches, attracts dust

If you're looking for the cheapest way to protect your ipod nano from scratches, this is the way to go. It comes with three "stickers" for placing on the screen, back, and wheel (I couldn't get my wheel one to stick.) It also comes with rubbery shell of your color choice. It's simple enough to put everything together, even though it doesn't come with any directions (that made me a little nervous at first.) One problem, though -- within seconds of putting the shell on the ipod, it had attracted a bunch of dust and cat hair -- and this dander stuck to the ipod shell with alarming vigor. Just as I'd get it clean, it'd get dusty again. Now I wish I'd bought a case made out of a different material, because if it got that way just being in my house, how's it going to fare outdoors? But for now, I do have some confidence that my ipod is protected from bumps & bruises, and it was cheap, so I'm happy about that.
Edited on 1/9/08: Since writing this review, the price of the item has doubled. Perhaps it is not the "cheapest" option anymore.
Good enough

When I read the reviews, I thought that this would come with a protector for the screen, the wheel and the back. However, mine only came with a screen protector and the cover. For the price you are paying, I guess that is good enough. It protects your iPod from scratches and the wheel is still very sensitive through the cover.
What I didn't like was that the cover came with 2 little hooks sticking out from the side. What is that for?

This case is great,and it's so cheap! It was exactly what I was looking for. I have found similar products on amazon for twenty times the cost of this one. I was expecting some cheapo case, but it's great! It shipped really fast, and I already bought a second one for my dad.
Quick Delivery & What I Expected

I wasn't sure when I ordered if this would be a headache or wonderful. Some of the reviews praised the product and the seller and others not so much. I got my Ipod cover and accessories quickly, which is good b/c I'm leaving the country in two days, and it was packaged efficiently. I tested out the arm band, which i was especially worried about b/c I like to work out and I always have trouble with head phones moving about messing up the sound or the Ipod shaking and skipping a bit, but it worked great. Some arm bands can be really expensive too, but for what you get it turned out perfect for my needs. It was easy for me to navigate the buttons via the case and it doesn't slip b/c it's silicone. All in all, I am very happy with the item and the seller.
different products? & clickwheel not usable

Reading the reviews, it seems as though everyone is receiving a different product. Some say their case came with 3 clear protective stickers, some say only one; some say the silicone case covers the click-wheel, others get a case with an opening for the wheel.
Personally, my case came with one clear sticker for the screen and the silicone covered the click wheel. This last feature was one i particularly wanted because that was the only exposed area on my last iPod, and thus got really scratched up from me throwing it in my purse and whatnot.
Well, it appears I'm going to have to cut the circle of silicon out until I can find a new case, because the clickwheel is not at all sensitive to touch through the case. Completely useless.

I would have to say this is exactly what I look for in an ipod case. Seriously I am buying a piece of technology that is slim and in my opinion beautiful (ipod nano). So when I get a case I dont need some bulky piece of rubber or some god awful clear plastic case that doesnt even let you use the spin wheel technology, goodness that is what the ipod is all about. Anyways this ice version is a nice thin but not too thin rubber slip on case, which also comes with a perfect fitting screen protector sticker and back protector, also a wheel one, which doesnt really stick. Anyways, that is what I bought a case for, protect against scratches, without losing the whole image of the sleek nano.

I ordered the black neoprene and the item I received did not resemble the picture. It was very cheap material and the sleeve for the IPOD had nothing to secure the IPOD. The case for the IPOD was permanently attached to the armband. I expected a separate, secure case for the IPOD that could be attached to an armband when needed. My intent was to use the case and armband for the IPOD while biking and skiing and there is no way I would trust putting my IPOD into this case and exercising. The IPOD could easily fall out of the case. I paid 12.95 for this plus $6.00 shipping. It came with no instructions and the actual name brand on it was Kroo. Vizu did give me contact information when the item was shipped. I was able to recontact Vizu about my dissatisfaction and they offered great customer service and replaced the neoprene with a satisfactory silicone case with removable armband. I would buy from Vizu again.

The Red color was just as I pictured it to be and very easy to put on. I love the strap for the arm but my sons seems to use a piece of cord that ties into to the back of the silicone case around his neck rather than holding it in his hand.

did not use item, string was falling apart as soon as I opened it. I want to Best Buy and invested in a better case. I would advise anyone to pay a few extra dollars and get better quality.

everything is great, but the screen saver does not peel away from its holder without leaving the paper and adhesive residue which I have not been able to remove with any type of cleaner... Bought 2 of these, happend on both...

I got the item in very good conditions, prompt service also. I got it as a gift for my siter so she could protect her new iPod Nano. I was a little disappointed that the little case was so thin though. Also, it claims that the case protects the iPod screen but it is only a thin film you stick to it, separately from the case. Another thing I noticed is the lanyard is not as secure. It came off of the hook once while my sister was wearing it around her neck and was just walking around the house. On a positive side I can say it does its job for protectiong the little iPod from scratches and regular stuff. Also the case lets you handle the controls without any problems. The price is good though and I think I can not expect more than what it does for what I paid. But I made sure my sister didn't wear her iPod too much time around her neck, just in case that thing happened again.

I bought this for the brand new 4th generation Nano. I was so happy to find accessories for my new toy. It fit great, the screen protector was perfect, and it came with everything it said it would in addition to a wrist strap.

when i got this, the new ipod had just come out and encase hadn't come out with a holder for this...i had used encase on my 2nd generation nano and it was perfection...so i tried this skin...the screen cover that comes with it was heck to use, and left sticky garbage all over the place...and, surprise, the wheel on this generation nano is very hard if not impossible to use through any type of layer or cover (which is why the encase leaves the wheel uncovered where in my 2nd generation nano they had a plastic film over it that didn't prevent the wheel's use)...so, i had to use an exacto to cut the part of the skin covering the wheel out...
also, this thing doesn't have any way to put this on a belt, or your shorts (like, supriZZZZZZZZZe, the encase does)...so i got a clip that you can attach with removable sticky backing, but the silicone is so slippery it will not take any type of sticky substance to attach a belt clip, so i had to attach the clip to the back of my ipod inside the skin...luckily the removable sticky attachment for the clip really is removable (with some persistence) and didn't damage at all the ipod back...
but save yourself a headache now that encase has fitted a case to the new nano, and don't mess around with these half-a@@ solutions like this one...sure, encase is $29, but on my 2nd generation nano it kept the thing looking new for 3 years, and the encase is so sturdily built iT looks new still (no, i don't work for them!)...but this skin stuff is for the birds, who probably wouldn't like it anyway...
well, just my opinion, but if you are the kind of person who likes a great solution to a need, then forgo this one...if you like cheap and something that will sort of work, with some jiggering, than by all means, get this piece of...silicone

It didnt come with a belt clip which was disapointing and I purchased the pink skin which is a COMPLETELY different colour then what is shown on this site, its a very very light pink not a magenta like on the site. But i guess its worth the price, but nothing more.

I got the Nano skin in the smokey color and have been very pleased with it. It even came with the clear film to stick on your screen for scratch protection. It was easy to put onto the iPod and it's been durable so far. It's a very useful product for something so inexpensive.

I purchased the Ipod Nano Pink on Pink Silicone Case for my niece. This product is a great quality and it is easy to use. It fits the Nano like a glove and it has a nice look about it... not like some of the cheesy cases you see out there. I would definitely recommend this product for its style and ease of use.

For $9 of protection, you get just that. But I think I wasn't looking for anything more. The thin silicone case will protect it from scratches and minuscule nicks. It includes a thin plastic film to place over the screen. I was hoping that the case was a little thicker though. The thickness on the click wheel is tricky, it works with a little finesse. There are better, harder cases out there, but I will stick with this one for a while as it does it's job. I hardly take it out of my pocket anyways.

Cute case...glad it was on sale as I don't feel it's worth $29.95...and the screen protector it comes with is the next best thing to useless...very difficult to stick on...and by the time it finally does stick it is covered with fingerprints and air bubbles.

I like this product. I wanted a case that would protect my iPod Nano without being too bulky or covering up the shape or color of the iPod. This one fits well and accomplishes that goal. I have had it for a few months and it protects the iPod well. The only complaint I have is it would be a better value if two covers came in a pack.
