• Complete RIPOFF!!

  This product cost me $11.21 for a 1" x 1-1/2" piece of very thin plastic!! Are you kidding me?! Put that into perspective; that's $1,076 per square foot for plastic!! It cost more to package this product than the product is worth!!
  
  For the other reviewers complaining about the tab leaving residue, you need to read the instructions. There is a very thin plastic cover over the actual screen protector. If you pulled the tab off (like I did) and the tape left residue you need to get a pocketknife and seperate this top film from the layer below- without pulling the whole thing off.
  
  By the way, the package this comes in says "...Protectors". That implies plural to me. There is only one in the package.
  
  My mistake. I got ripped off! Caveat emptor!!!! Be forewarned!!!
  
  

• Cheap glue - destroys product

  The last procedure will frustrate you into throwing this product in the garbage. After applying the transparent film on your phone (at which point you are feeling quite good), the last step is to peel off the last tab holding the protection film. The thing is that this last tab is stuck with cheap glue which leaves a sticky mess on the very protective film you want to be transparent and clean. It is similar to wiping off tree sap from the hood of your car. Forget trying to wash the sticky residue from the film with water, which only smudges it even more. If it was possible to give "NO STARS", then I would.
  
  

• Nice Protector, Requires Patience

  This screen protector does an excellent job of protecting your phone from scratches, but it requires a lot of patience (and a very clean room) to apply. If you get any lint, dust or oil between the screen and this protector, it will be very noticeable when you use the phone later. Of course, since the screen protector is coated with adhesive, it's practically a magnet for dust. But since this is easily washable, it can be applied cleanly with the included squeegee and an appropriate amount of care. Once you have the screen protector on, it won't come off unless you want it to, but when removed, there is no residue left on the screen. All in all, a good product as long as you don't mind taking the time to apply it carefully and in a dust-free environment.

  Once on your phone, the screen protector is beautiful, you don't even notice it's there.
  
  BUT ... it's really difficult to get on your phone cleanly. If you get even the tiniest bit of lint or oil in between the protector and the screen, the protector won't smooth out properly and the lint stands out when the screen is lit. You can wash the protector in soapy water to get the lint or oil off, but then you have to let it air dry so as not to get more lint or oil on it. And when it air-dries, the water leaves spots! So you have to carefully hold it by the sides and shake it dry in the air, then hope to put it on without any other dust blowing on to the screen or you'll have to start all over.

  the screen protector came in good conditions fit my cellphone perfectly. Just remeber to clean very well your cellphone so no dust is tehre . you dont want to repead teh same steps i did. I had to wash it like four times and use an airduster to clean my cellphone so no dust will be show

  It fits the Sony W580I screen perfectly. The tabs used to put the protector left a sticky residue that I haven't been able to get off. I also found it difficult to get all the air bubbles out.

  Pros: Easy to throw away
  
  Cons: Junk!, you would far better off with a piece of clear tape, or the stuff that comes on the screen when you bought it. its a single piece of hard clear plastic (same annoying junk you cut through to get at new stuff you buy at best buy etc) I paid $4 plus shipping, hoping I would get something along the lines of a vinyl stick on screen protector, (what the FAKE picture looks like) I wouldnt pay more than a penny for this thing, it must cost a penny to produce a 1000 of them... this thing will trap dirt between it and your phone anyway, I cant say enough bad things about it.

  i can't believed i paid that much for a piece of thin plastic. it looked like a piece of tape. i was expecting something harder and thicker. it looked the same as if i just left it off. also the film thing/instructions were hard to follow. the tabs broke off way too easily and i had to use tweezers on it, which ended up scratching it. i don't recommend ppl to buy this. just risk not using anything at all. it'd be better anyways. now i can't even take it off to throw away.

  This screen protector is great. It fit my phone perfectly. I followed the directions that came with it and it was easy to put on. I haven't tried to take it off, so I have not had any problem with it leaving the screen "sticky" as others have complained. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive screen protector.
  
  
• Great protector but be careful putting it on or else it will go to waste

  It works fine to keep away scratches, but make sure you are very careful putting it on. I didn't position it correctly on the edges when applying it and now i'm left with a big bubble on the corner that the bubble tool could not help with. Be aware of this when putting it on.

  I only gave this item a 3 because I think there should be more screen protectors included in this product. I'm satisfied with the one I have, but it would be nice to have at least one more to fall back on. I had no problems putting the protector on my phone, and it does a good job of protecting the screen from scratches that might occur while it's in my purse or pants pocket.
