  This dress is an excellent costume quality gown.
  While this dress looks elegant..it photographs like a shiny nylon parachute.
  Pros: Elegant design, shipped super fast, added bonus..a matching shawl and a real high quality satin sash, and the company is very professional about handling concerns about their products.
  Cons: The dress is cheaply made (super cheap nylon taffeta material, no hook at the top of the bodice to secure the zipper), sized for a misses fit (not well suited for shorter people 5'4 and under), and the bodice has wire stays that stab you in the ribs when you sit.

  This dress is very beautiful. I bought it for my daughters Military Ball and it will be perfect. I would recommend this dress to anyone. The only thing that could be better is a correct sizing. The dress comes smaller than the size indicated, so order the next size up. Otherwise, very worth it.

  I bought the burgundy version for my Senior Prom. I absolutely love this dress. It looks even better in person. I recieved it in the mail very quickly, surprisingly actually. It's a gorgeous color, soft fabric, very form fitting dress. The size chart was very accurate for me. The ONLY problem I had with it was it was too long, I'm 5'2 so my mother has to trim a little bit of the bottom off. But I can't blame the company for my genes.

  My daughter is very petite. We ordered this dress express shipping so that we'd be able to take it in and have it altered before her prom. No need. She tried it on, and with the shoes on, it fit like a glove, as though it was made for her. It was a very pretty dress, the price was great and she looked beautiful in it.   I received a frantic telephone call from my sister who had been looking all over the Washington DC Metropolitan area for weeks, without success, for the right dress for my niece's cotillion that was now 3 days away. My niece saw this dress on Amazon and fell in love. However, my sister had never ordered anything online and had spent countless hours the night before trying to order it, but kept getting to the same point where things just froze. She was running out of time so she called me (in Seattle)the next day. I placed the order and sent an email to Pacifiplex that the event was 3 days from now, so could they please expedite shipping as much as possible. • Great dress, lazy vendor

  I bought this dress for my senior prom. The Ivory one. In the picture it has a black ribbon around the waiste. When i got it, it came with an ivory ribbon. I ordered it because i liked the contrast. I e-mailed and i e-mailed but no respond. It was rediculous. So i finally got fed up and called. They sent a new ribbon right away. The only problem was the ribbons are frayed on the ends. They do not sow them, so they can come unraveled.
  
  The dress is beautiful. It looks great! comes with straps and a wrap. I had to have to dress taken up because it was too long, but i am short. The size chart was perfect for me. It fits great. It doesnt slide down, and i can breath.
  
  I would totally recommend this dress.
  
  If you have any problems, however, do not bother to e-mail. The vendor will not respond. Just call.

  The picture of the dress is very accurate and it came with shoulder straps and an extra sash and wrap! Unfortunately I did have to return because my daughter told me the wrong size. Otherwise I would have definitely kept it!!

  I ordered this dress in burgundy. I will use it as my wedding dress. I am a size 18, and stand at 6 feet tall, NOTHING I buy ever fits me right, except for this dress!!! I put it on right out of the box, and it fit me like it was made for me. I could not be happier. The fabric is lightweight, and comfortable to wear. I like how shiny it is, it seems to change color when it moves. If you are a big and tall woman looking for a beautiful gown, get this dress! You will feel like a goddess in it.

  I needed a white or black, long length gown for a local gala I was being forced to attend. I went to EVERY dress shop in town and I couldn't find a single gown that either fit, was formal enough, or didn't follow the dress code requirements. I decided to give online a try, and this was the first dress I looked at, and it was perfect! I ordered it thinking that since I was ordering it online, it would arrive near the fifth day of the 3-5 day period, but surprisingly, it arrived on the 3rd day, in perfect condition! It was neatly packaged, and there was a matching satin wrap, which wasn't advertised, and it was definitely the perfect surprise! I measured myself before ordering, and I was a little worried about ordering the dress online because I couldn't try it on before spending the money, but when I emailed the company, they assured me that the dress could be exchanged or returned in the event that it didn't fit. I ended up ordering a small, even though I was in between a small and extra small. When it arrived, I tried it on, and it was a little loose, but the dress has a built-in corset, so it can be tightened or loosened to perfectly fit! I cannot thank you enough for making me look and feel so beautiful on my special night!

  I ordered this dress for my daughter for her senior prom. I measured her according to the size chart. I was nervous about ordering over the internet but thought I would give it a try.
  I ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday. When the box arrived, my daughter threw it on the couch and said "I thought this was gonna be my dress!" I told her to open the box and much to our surpise, it was her dress. The box was so small we couldn't believe the dress fit in it.
  This dress was absolutely beautiful! It fit perfect and nobody else was wearing a dress like it.

  Absolutely beautiful dress. The Shipment came in 3 days and I was really impressed with it when I got it out of the package. I thought I might have had to by a petticoat but it comes exactly the way it's supposed to, fluff and all. It comes with straps and a shawl just like the people who've also purchased this dress have said.

  I bought this dress for my wedding which was will be an informal destination wedding in Barbados. The seller, ships quickly and very efficiently. I received my dress in about two days. However, the dress itself is of a very poor quality. I agree with another reviewer, it looks like a holloween costume. The design is ok and it fits well but the taffeta was the cheapest looking taffeta I had ever seen. When I got the dress I thought that it was packaged on the wrong side so that I assumed that the cheap nylon looking fabric was the lining. Imagine my shock when I unpacked it. I don't know if it is better when it is in one of the other colours but it is horrid in white. It came with a black satin sash (dispite ordering a white one) that was also of poor quality. For those of you still thinking of getting this dress.. I am a true (comfortable) size 18 and the 2x was an easy fit. It may be a little big but the lace up back helped. Forget the sash it is horrid. My opinion? You can feel comfortable purchasing from this supplier as it is super efficient but buy another dress as this one is not worth the money. I now have to buy another dress and I can't return it as I am an international cutomer. The cost of shipping it back is more than the dress.

  I'm really impressed with the dress. I bought it for a mardi gras ball. I ordered it on a Sunday and with express shipping it got all the way from California to Louisiana by Tuesday! I was king of confused as to how it could fit in its box since the box was so tiny!
  
  Pros: I found mine to be on the long side which is great since I'm a taller woman. It is also great if you are flat chested, the dress looks good despite it. It is also really elegant looking. I bought a Large (I'm sort of in between Medium and Large) and originally it is really big on me, but once I tightened the laces it fit perfectly! It also comes with attatchable straps (that you have to sew on) and a sash. Fast shipping.
  
  Cons: The material is kind of thin which isn't great for cooler places or during the winter (but its great if you need a formal dress for summer time!). Also the loops for the black sash aren't very attractive. One of them broke about 5 seconds after I tried on the dress! But that isn't a big deal since I intend on cutting them completely off anyways.
  
  Overall the dress is great! But expect to get what you paid for. If all you need is a formal dress that is made like it only costs $90 then great! If you're looking for something REALLY fancy then I wouldn't recomend it. However, I like this dress enought to make the minor alterations to make it look better.

  I haven't gotten married yet, so I haven't received feedback from a lot of people on the dress. When it arrived, I immediately tried it on, and it was too big. I'm about a size 16, and I ended up needing the 1X. Very flattering cut, made me looks smaller, not bigger! The material is gorgeous if you like shimmery shine. I ordered burgundy, and it almost seemed like an iridescent color somewhere between red and purple. I got rid of the sash because I thought that it dressed it down. Instead I added a few sequins here and there. The dress is somewhat cheaply made and some of the seams didn't align properly, but overall the price was right. I added a piece of lace to the top because I felt like it was a little low cut and I needed some extra coverage. Dealing with the company was simple. I needed to exchange the dress for another size and the transaction was completed quickly without any snags.

  The dress came about four days after I had ordered it, but it came about two days after they actually shipped the product. Very fast! I didn't think it would get to my house until next week!
  
  After reading other people's reviews on various products that they've purchased from this seller, I was a little skeptical about the sizing... When I pulled the dress out of the packaging, it looked like it wouldn't fit me at all... But I realized that there was a corset-like tie up in the back and I loosened it so it would fit me. It was a perfect fit! The only complaint I have about the dress is that it slips. It's strapless, and it slips off from my bra... But I haven't worn many dresses in my life, so I assume all I have to do is go buy some dress tape.
  
  They didn't have a picture for the colour I was ordering, but I took a chance. I pictured it to be a little darker and more of a lucious red, but it's bright red. It may not be exactly what I was expecting, but the dress is beautiful! Like I said before, I haven't worn many dresses in my day, so I wouldn't know the difference in quality in material... but the material is OK for the price. It's not completely cheap, but it's not the best. Perfect for the price.
  
  Another downside is that if you aren't used to wearing corsets, it could become uncomfortable. I wear corsets all of the time, so I'm okay. But it still pokes at you under your arms and it can be annoying.
  
  Overall, I am very pleased with my dress. I may or may not come back to this seller... It all depends on when I'll need to wear a dress again. But I will enjoy my prom thanks to PacificPlex. :)

  I bought this dress to go to a military ball and it was absolutely perfect. It's sized for a junior fit so as a smallish-chested 14 I needed the 2X tightly laced. The XL fit but was too tight when I sat down.
  
  I felt so glamorous in this dress. I agree with a previous reviewer that it needs a hook at the top of the zipper, but that's easily added. It is shiny when photographed, but it isn't a bad thing. It looks much more expensive on than it actually is! I got so many compliments, many from complete strangers! My date was dazzled, too, which is always a good thing. :) I highly recommend this dress.
  
  Oh, and I bought it in burgundy. A very nice deep shade, too.

  When the dress came I was suprised to see that it was a bit smaller then I thought it would be for an XL, but it still is a very well fitting dress, and looks to be well constructed. I am larger in the chest (double D)and I was worried that it might flatten me a bit, but it didn't. The fabric is very light weight, and is not shiney as it appears in the pictures. It's more of a matte fabric with a slight sheen, but the satin waist bow is shiney. I ordered the black on black dress which came with an optional white satin waist bow, a matching black taffeta wrap, and a set of what appears to be spaghetti straps that could be sewn on if needed. All together I'd say I am very happy with this dress, but I think there should be a new picture posted and a better description to show what the true fabric looks like, and to inform the customer of the accesories that come with it. I'd recomend this dress.

  This is a wonderful dress. THe only issue I had was be careful not to pull the corset to tight, because when you sit down the two front piping that gives the dress structure is made of plastic and it bends when you sit down, and it doesn't go back, it stay bent... But you can try and reshape it a bit and looks better... It is still worth buying. I was maid of honor at a wedding and it was gorgeous and everyone loved it!

  The dress was beautiful. I did have to get it tailored but it worked out perfect because the original style of dress I searched for I wanted to be regular length in front and to have a little train in the back, so I had the tailor do it that way. It came with a shaw and straps. I bought a brooch for $5 at Walmart to put a little bling on it. But my daughter looked so beautiful. She wore this dress for her Sweet 15. Everyone complimented her dress all night. They said she looked just like a princess.
