  I have the black 580i, so I can barely see that it is there. It snapped on easily and has a nice feel. It also makes it less likely that I will accidently press the Walkman or Internet buttons when sliding the phone open, saving me a few cents a months in data fees. I elected not to attach the belt clip at this time as it makes this sleek phone much bulkier as any belt clip would. I would have given it 5 stars if it had had something to protect the screen.

  I am a huge fan of this case. Besides simply protecting the phone, I think the biggest thing I've enjoyed is that my phone is much easier to slide open now because I push on the case, not the smooth phone surface. There is no screen protector, but I actually don't mind that because those generally just get dirty and you can't see the screen as clearly. Since I've had the case I have yet to accidentally connect to the internet, which I did a few times in the week I had the phone before using the case. I don't use the belt clip, so the phone is still extremely sleek and managable. You can get to all of the buttons and ports on the phone with the case on. Overall this is a very good product and I couldn't think of a better case for this phone.

  Fine case, for what it is. It does not cover the screen or the buttons but protects the edges in case the phone is dropped. The clip, a ludicrously bulky thing, is fortunately detachable, though the wheel to which it attaches cannot to my knowledge be removed and is a occasionally a nuisance, as you can feel its bite if you keep the phone in your pocket. Aesthetically, the case doesn't detract from the phone; it adds some sleekness, and the texture is pleasingly smooth. It also adds a little bit more weight and bulkiness (even with it on, however, the phone is far from bulky), which is actually satisfying, as it makes the phone easier to handle.
  
  Other reviewers say that the case blocks the charger plug-in, but I've not experienced this, and my only guess regarding this is that the charger has somehow changed. I bought my phone very recently, so the new chargers (if there are any) are compatible. And with an extremely low price, it's well worth the risk.

  This case will protect your phone. But it binds up when you try to open the phone. Does not slide easy if at all sometimes. Very difficult to remove.

  Not bad for protecting my phone. I've dropped it a couple times, but my phone seems fine. You will have to clean it periodically inside to remove grime and dust. Also, I found the belt clip annoying. I was able to remove the screwed-on nub on the back using a monkey wrench to twist it off; all that was left was a hole. Kinda pricey too.

  The only problem with this case is that the hole to make room for the charger wasn't large enough so I had to actually enlarge the hole myself so that the case didn't need to be removed for charging.

  This product works well for what it's meant to do, which is to protect the phone. Unfortunately for me, when I went to the beach with the phone, the heat made the protect plastic around the case bubble and scratch off. So it still protect great just doesn't look like mint condition until you take it off.

  This cover will protect your phone well and it looks pretty good also. The front cover doesn't snap in place as tightly as the back cover does, but I haven't had any problems with it falling off or anything. Overall a nice product.

  Shipping was prompt and the product itself works great.
  I busted the clip about 2 months after owning it, but it's totally my fault! Rough profession...my phone rides on my belt all day and I'm very active and it gets bumped around...A LOT!
  Any one have any ideas on where to find a replacement clip for it?
  Other than that, I love the case. Really protects my phone perfectly!

  While it came in plain ol' cheap cellular store packaging, this case has given me peace of mind amidst my very clumsy existence. I only wish I had ordered it with my phone so I could have avoided scratching up the corner by dropping it on, of course, a brick sidewalk. When I drop the 580, the battery cover tends to pop off as well, which this cover prevents from occurring.
  
  What are you waiting for? You know you're going to drop your phone eventually, get it protected!

  The case snaps on pretty easily and holds on tight. Creates very good protection in my opinion and doesn't block the sliding of the sony ericsson. Overall it does what it is supposed to do.

  The cover is very difficult to snap on and off and I had to make the whole bigger to get the attachments to lock in. I would not buy this again if I had a choice.

  Cover fits nicely and looks good. Slider is a bit stiff until it breaks in. All connections and buttons are still accessible. Don't like the swivel clip, but have never liked that kind of clip. It is optional to use though.

  The best thing I like about this product besides the protection to the phone, is the rubberized cover. This helps with the phone slipping off of my dash or off of a table.

  The rubberized case is good. It is hard plastic, but has a light rubberized coating. It attaches very firmly to the phone and won't fall off. I wish I had gotten clear instead of black so the color of the phone would show through. The swivel clip isn't strong enough to lock in place when I rotate the phone.

  it's good when it stays on. dropped my phone several times from about 2 feet high. every time it hit the ground the back cover came off and phone ended up getting scratched. front cover doesnt come off. i have something similar, only clear plastic case for my samsung slider and i can drop that phone from any height and the cover stays on and protects the phone very well. not this one. i'll have to replace the phone backplate eventually, because of this P.O.S

  Great case. Makes the phone a little bulky but it protects it well. I used it in a Sony Ericsson W580i Walkman (now it looks more like a Batman gizmo) and the central dial doesn't match perfectly-perfectly but it does well enough to have access to all the controls. It also makes it easier to hold the phone on the edges an slide the cover (which was my only complain about the phone as it is). I'm not using the clip. Haven't even tried it. The phone is small enough to carry it in the pocket of my shirts which is why I bought it.

  About two months ago, I bought one from the same seller. It was the best I've ever seen. After a month I broke the plastic belt clip. So I decided to buy another one. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same!!! The charger's plug won't fit the charger Open on the cover! It is too deep!! So I pulled the plastic clip and I am using it on my old cover!!

• Decent case; Crap belt clip

  The case I received is black rubberized on white plastic, which is visible at the seams. Nothing a sharpie wouldn't fix though. I do agree that the case gives the phone a more solid feel, and have had absolutely no problems with the slide binding or the charger not fitting. The belt clip is disappointingly bulky, but I was willing to try it... The actual clip stays on the belt, and you can release the phone from it with a button push. This leaves a gear shaped projection on the back of the phone.
  
  The first night of my test period I was getting out of my car and heard it crunch. The gear had broken off of the case leaving a half inch diameter hole centered in the back! Luckily there were no other cracks or flaws which would ruin the back. I'll keep using the case, to protect the phone itself, but it'll be in my pocket from now on.
