Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection Black Ionic Plated Watch #4860x$89.99
    (11 reviews)
Best Price: $89.99
Invicta Men's Pro Diver Stainless Steel Watch Model# 4860 With the affordable black ionic-plated Invicta Pro Diver stainless steel men's watch, you can still afford to buy flippers and a pair of goggles. It features a shock-resistant, precise Swiss quartz movement that will stand up to the rigors of your undersea adventures, and it's water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). It's topped by a rose gold-tone unidirectional rotating bezel with embossed elapsed time markings and scalloped edges for a firm grip even with diving gloves. The black dial includes large Tritnite luminous markers and hands (with seconds hand) and a magnified date window at 3 o'clock with a magnifier. Other features include a black ionic-plated stainless steel bracelet band, secure fold-over safety clasp, and an anti-reflective mineral crystal. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours. About Invicta Latin for "invincible," Invicta was founded in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland in 1837 by Raphael Picard, who believed that fine Swiss timepieces could be offered at modest prices. For more than a century, the company has created distinctive manual and automatic-winding pieces. In 1991, descendants of the Picard family reaffirmed the company's founding principle, and the invigorated Invicta has been growing ever since with one of the most widely diverse collections of precise Swiss timepieces on the market.

sporty, stylish, swiss By A3E68EBGXTWDNP on 2008-04-23
i have two other invicta diving watches, both automatic. they were such a good deal, i jumped on this when i saw it for under $100. this is great quality for the price, not much to say, other than it's lighter than my gold-plated invicta and looks awesome. the black ionic plated steel makes it sporty, but it's also kinda elegant with the rose gold bezel. this model is pretty cool since it doesnt obviously borrow from a rolex design, but seems rather more uniquely invicta, if that makes any sense. a real head-turner that looks like a $400 watch. sssh! dont tell anyone!
You can't beat Invicta watches. By AKUVUNNC75K5Q on 2008-06-09
I am a watch freak. I love them all from the $2.00 ones to the "real" Rolex's. The Invicta watches are on my wrist most of the time since I
am proud to wear them and don't feel like I am just wearing a name.
This watch (Pro Diver #4860) is very enjoyable to look at. It keeps time too!!!
You get what you pay for. By A1P5I2T4CWK0B7 on 2008-09-15
This decent-looking Rolex knock-off looks a LOT better in picture than what you actually get to hold.
Liked:
- Slim-mer dial than looks.
- Light-weight.
- Screw-down back and crown.
- Black finish hides the Invicta etch on the side.
- Are swiss movements better than others? What exactly is a "swiss movement"?
Didn't care for:
- Stamped steel used for the end-links!
- End-links extends half a link longer than the clasp. So you're never going to have a wrist-hugging bracelet!?
- Screw-down crown grates.
- Rose-gold my a**. This is copper!
- Light-weight.
- Bracelet rattles.
I had read about Invicta creating a place for itself among frugal watch enthusiast, but frugality is debatable. My Nautica watch (same look as #N15006G but dual-time inner dial) has a beautiful rose-gold finish and dial and I paid about the same as this watch for it from my local outlet mall.
I'll suggest you spend your money on a Nautica, Kenneth Cole or Guess watches to get better quality for about the same price.
Just be aware that you are paying for is slightly more than what you're gonna get and I paid only 25% of the listed retail here! Yes, not a typo, 75% discount.
*** This watch is not a deal. ***
EDIT: The black "paint" on the crown is coming off and that's after adjusting the time twice! Not a good sign of things to come. Now how do I bring this review down to two stars??
Great looking watch at a great price By A20ZWWKB99R2CQ on 2008-05-11
Set the watch to the atomic clock, and though I've had it for a little less than a month, it hasn't lost or gained a second yet. The watch looks great and has a nice latch over the metal clasp. Had to adjust tne length of the band by removing three links, but was accomplished with minimal effort.
Great watch, not great customer service By A2GAV10IZ2OM1F on 2008-08-09
Great looking watch, amazon did a great job sending and price was awesome. Could not get anyone at Invicta to help me with sixing the watch band. No instructions, no follow-up, nothing. Returned the watch.

Excellent product and a watch I would recommend for anyone looking for something a little different that stands out in a crowd.
- Excellent Value for the money

Good looking and good feeling watch. Not too heavy but not flimsy feeling. Only downside is the magnifying part of the dial's window. But not having a battery to change is a plus. Happy camper here

the invicta watch is ok but a month later there was a black model
which i would have prefered at a lower price!.
the watch is quite heavy and i had to call the company to find out
how to take the band apart so it would fit. watch is much heavier than
i expected. i should have bought the movado black.
- Exudes Sophistication
     By A6J2R3WUGGJHF on 2008-06-03
The first contact a product has with the consumer is the packaging in which the merchandise is presented to the user. The Invicta watch quite blew me away by the canary yellow box that housed it. Nicely pillowed inside was the watch, generously padded and plastic wrapped to protect it from the elements. The watch is chunky yet does not feel like a handcuff (and I have very thin wrists - even by Indian standards!) when worn. I had to take out four clips from the band to get the watch fit. The color coordination of the dial, the band and the bezel exudes sophistication - far beyond the expectation from a US$120.00 watch.
The digits are large and I have no problems in making out the time even in the semi darkness of the car cabin when I drive. The package consists of a soft cloth that I use to wipe the grime off the inner surface of the band. I quite like the magnifying display of the date (I wish they had included the "day" since I am often mentally programed through that - "gosh, its Wednesday and I am late for the 8am 1 on 1 with my boss").
I have no intention to go diving wearing the watch (for one, there aren't any rivers or sea within a 300 mile radius) so I'll never be able to tell how well the device holds up to such gruel. I may get drenched a few times in the impending monsoon with the watch on so perhaps there will be a mini-test of sorts.
- Very nice watch

I bought this watch for my husband and he really liked it. The black and copper combination looks great.
Thanks
