GREAT protection - but a face only a mother could love

Case is thoughtfully designed with two internal "pockets": one mesh and elastic; the other a velcro strap. You can de-assemble the windshield mount and carry it in the case along with the Garmin, although it's a tight fit and could scratch your Nuvi.
This means the case is a good size larger than the Nuvi - bigger than it needs to be.
I also do NOT like the vinyl piping around the perimeter of the case. I can just about guarantee you it'll CRACK in short order, because that's what vinyl piping is famous for.
If not for that, I'd give this CHUBBY POUCH 3.5 stars.
cheap zipper - very poor quality

Very inexpensive price, but the manufacturing / material quality is cheap. the zipper pull bends when you pull on it, and the zipper splits open when you try to zip it up.
