This is one of the best futons we have ever found for the money. It's a True 9 inch (marketed as a 10 inch by most retailers) thick futon that will keep you happy for years. Unlike the traditional urethane foams used in most futons, Fibre-Foam does not breakdown over time when exposed to light and air. All traditional style futon will compact some, (due to the cotton), but its the Fibre-Foam that helps keep the futon from continuing to compress. In addition to the Fibre-Foam being a far more resilient and longer lasting choice than traditional urethane foams found in most other futons, this foam is very flexible.
