• Comfort before beauty

  When I first saw Croc's I thought they were the ugliest shoe ever made. My fiance got a pair of Redskin Crocs and made me try them on to see how light they were. I put them on and they felt great! However, I still didn't want a pair because they were pretty darn ugly. I went to the Croc's website and saw the many different types they make and came across the mary janes. I'm a huge fan of mary jane shoes and these weren't as hidious as the regular ones. I ordered a pair from amazon in a basic black and now I can't go anywhere without them. They are perfect for shopping, going to the beach (much easier than walking in flip-flops), washing the car, etc. I have plantar fascitis and I can wear these shoes all day without my feet killing me. They are great for airplane trips because they are easy to slip off and on and are comfy for that rush to the gate. I'm no longer a skeptic and I plan on getting them in a few more colors.

  These are comfortable and cute and I'm using them mostly as "house" shoes. I just feel like I should have ordered a half size larger. They just touch my toes and I think they would have been perfect if I had exchanged them.

  Croc's are so comfy!!!! I have sore, wide feet and have been going through neuroma surgery. I needed shoes that were painless! After spending so much money on expensive brands, these have been a life saver (should I say foot-saver!) I even got a 2nd pair and wear them everyday!!! I have always loved the MJ style, but hard to find in an 11 wide. These were perfect!!

  These croc Mary Jane's are FABULOUS!!! I have many friends that have reservations about wearing what they call "plastic shoes," but just know that I set the record straight. I have bought a pair of the "knock off croc's" and was that ever a mistake. My husband made me throw them away after they made my feet "STINK." My husband loves my feet, but after wearing the "knock offs" and having my feet smell like what he called "bad cottage cheese" I learned my lesson. So buy CROC's they don't make your feet smell, they are stylish, and simply comfortable.

  I have three pairs of the Mary Jane crocs. I personally think that these
  are the most comfortable of the croc styles because my feet are on the narrower side. These are my "go to" shoes for dog walking and work.
  I am a teacher so I'm on my feet all day. Although Crocs would probably cringe to hear this, I think I've got a secret to a "customized" fit. I find that new crocs are a little "floppy" to my liking even when I purchase the correct size. I had heard that Crocs shrink if they are left out in the heat. So, I put my crocs in
  the oven to a low heat, and watch them carefully (taking them out every few minutes or so) and then trying them on until they shrink to my size.

  The title says it all. I have seen so many of my friends wearing crocs, and wanted a pair too, especially given how light they are, and the number of colors they come in. But nothing would stay on my feet (the "cayman"), until Crocs came up with the Mary Jane. They still swallow my feet, but, with the addition of the top strap, at least they stay on. I have two pairs now, and since they aren't expensive, I may get another pair.

  I love, love, love these shoes. I didn't think the Crocs were for me but I came down with plantar fascitis and wear an arch support so needed something that would accomodate my needs. This is it!!! I own a pair for almost everyday of the week and they are suitable for my work (office setting), I look forward to no more hobbling myself by wearing ill fitting and much more expensive leather shoes! They are very true to size and I have a short wide foot-fit is perfect.

  Who doesn't like Crocs? I especially like these Mary Jane Crocs because they have the strap in the back. I don't use backless shoes, I don't like them flopping around. The one thing I would stress is that you follow their advice on the fit. Your toes should not feel the toebox, I should have bought the next size up but I was just sure they would be too big - wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, but oh well. They're a great shoe and I definitely want some colorful ones although I started with a generic color so that I could put anything with them. You'll love them - buy them now!

  Already have another pair and I just LOVE them. Its just too bad the colors in this style are so limited! I will have to return these because in our Hospital we are only allowed Navy or White. I was so happy when I saw Pearl White!!! Well they arrived and they are Grey!!! Pearl or White NOT! They are Grey! Watch out for the color names! I am so upset!!
  
  
• Continuing tale of the Ugly Shoe

  I believe I've already reviewed the Cayman... and how I would never wear them and couldn't figure out why they are so popular. Bought some on a (beer run) side trip while camping on a river and was ever so impressed how I could wear them in the water. And who would have thought this ugly (yellow) shoe could be so comfortable.
  
  Shopping today for yet another pair (already have the flip-flops now) with my friend Kathy. Her shoe collection rivals that of Carrie Bradshaw and she wouldn't be caught dead in them. I purchased a red pair of these Mary Janes (opting to wear them out of the store instead of my trusty Burks), and I literally forced her to try them on.
  She hesitantly did as I asked (under duress) and had to admit her surprise at how comfortable they are, but she did say they looked to big. Told her I would buy her a pair for her b-day and then she was ever so excited to find her signature pink in a pair of Caymans that fit her better. She also wore hers out of the store.
  
  And I agree.... they don't 'fit' like regular shoes, but this doesn't matter to me as long as I have happy feet.
  
  Again... these shoes ARE butt-ugly. And there's nothing exciting about the colors either, but if you want a practical summer shoe...esp good for beach and water please trust me and at the least get to a store that sells them and try them on. But don't be confused... there are a few types of knock offs that are comfortable, but the plastic (or whatever they are.... alien fabric?) is much softer.
  
  And did I mention how picky I am? Took me years to try these shoes. And if Kathy will wear them, I think even Carrie Bradshaw has a pair or two.
  
  AND if that weren't cool enough! They even have a website.... get this... you can recycle them!

  This was my first Crocs purchase - I never liked the "clunky" style of the original Crocs, but these are actually really cute. They are so lightweight and hands down the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I will definitely purchase these in other colors. The only reason I don't give this a 5 star is that I don't like how they fit so loosely. I know that they are supposed to, but the shoes (bought in my regular size) just look too big on my feet. I'm going to try a smaller size for the next pair I order. I would definitely recommend these - comfort plus style!
  
  
• The Perfect Summer Shoe!

  When the clunky-looking Cayman hit the world by storm, I said "I'm not going to wear those ugly plastic things--this too shall pass." Well, I'm on my third week wearing the Mary Jane style and I'm hooked. Here's why:
  1. Comfort. At my age (almost 42) I have no patience for shoes that aren't comfortable. Many sandals and thongs give my feet blisters. Everything you've read about the comfort of Crocs is true, at least with this style. My feet have absolutely no complaints. I will say it was a couple of days before I got used to the loose fit--I felt sort of like what you'd imagine big floppy clown shoes would feel like, but my feet soon got accustomed to the roominess. If you like your feet to look smaller and daintier than they really are, do what I did and choose black. It's slimming, right?
  2. Style. These are cuter and slightly 'dressier' than the ubiquitous Caymans, cover my toes when the polish starts to wear off, and don't make that cheap-sounding flapping noise associated with flip-flops. And black goes with everything, although there are scads of other delightful colors for those of you who aren't as averse to loud hues. Hooray!
  3. Individuality. I admit I have bought a few of the Jibbitz charms to customize my Crocs, and between the ones I pick out for myself and the ones I've selected for my two toddler girls, I find myself rather addicted to them. I like that I can display my hippie side with tiny yin-yang and flower charms, and I let my girls pick out their favorite characters from TV and movies. This is just plain fun. Is there a twelve-step program to help me stop buying these?
  4. Superior Alternative Construction. These shoes are formed from Croslite, the Crocs custom-developed odor-resistant synthetic resin. Therefore, for those of us looking for alternatives to shoes made with leather, it's nice to know that an animal didn't have to die in order for our feet to be protected.
  As I mentioned, I'm only three weeks into the summer, but I suspect I'll be wearing these until it starts to get cold, which in my part of the world will be at least until mid-October. I can't yet comment on how long these will last, but otherwise I'd recommend these to anyone who wants a comfortable and cute casual summer shoe.

  As far as Crocs go, these aren't ugly. They're actually kind of cute. But the real allure is how COMFORTABLE these shoes are! I figured Crocs had to be comfy since their looks can't account for their popularity, but these are easily the most comfortable shoes I have.
  
  It feels like they are made out of some kind of squishy plastic. The soles are nice and thick - you can even walk over rocks and it feels nice.
  
  These shoes are sized a little big. For regular shoes, I wear 9 - 9 1/2, so I bought a size 9. They are plenty roomy. In fact, I think I might buy another pair in a size 8.

  I did not recieve this order. It was cancelled soon after purchasing, due to lack of stock. The merchant did notify me on a timely basis. I have purchased other crocs - from other places such as flip flops - and I do like the comfort of the shoes on the heel area of the foot.   I got this shoes for my daughter who already has the regular crocs and loves them; but since I wanted the shoes lo be a little different I decided on this model. She LOVES THEM ALSO! She says not only they are very comfortable but also more dressy than the regular ones. They are easy to wash too so the kids are always looking good and modernly fashion.
  
  My only complaint as a parent is the fact that this shoes are not made in the U.S.A. but in China. I live in Mexico and shipping to my country, when an item is made in China, costs me 200% of the price.

  I love this style! These shoes are a little "dressier" than the regular style of Crocs (Cayman), so I can actually wear them with outfits that you wouldn't think of as "croc" clothes. And they are very comfortable! I love that they are cut to fit a woman's feet -- they aren't as wide as my other crocs (Beach), and I like that. (FYI, I have medium-width feet, and my Beach crocs LOOK like they are too big on me, even though I'm pretty sure they are the right size. The Mary Janes look much better on me.) I look CUTE in these shoes!

  I love these Crocs. They fit true to size and although I normally wear a Wide width I have no problem with them. They are more comfortable than slippers. I just discovered Crocs this past winter and have purchased 9 pairs and will buy one more pair if I can find the Blueberry Swirl color in stock somewhere.

  I love all crocs, and these are great for summer, being more open than the traditional crocs. Read the tag and stretch out the strap that goes across your foot if you have wide feet like me. Then they will fit perfectly. You will never be sorry buying crocs. They are so lightweight you can pack several and only have to worry about volume, not weight, and they are so easy to clean. You only have to remember if you are a first time croc wearer, don't judge until you've been wearing them about 15 minutes. They need to warm up to get to their ultimate comfort level. Try a pair, you will never be sorry!
