  This sleeve is so thin that it ripped the first time I used it. Thankfully Amazon immediately refunded my money. Stay away from this piece of junk.

  This product is incredibly thin. The silicone ripped when trying to place onto the WiiFit board. A good idea, but look for another manufacturer. This one is very cheaply made.
  
  

• Solid protection for your Wii Balance Board

  After seeing some of the reviews, I was afraid that this product might be flimsy, but I ordered it anyway as the price made it worth a try compared to some of the other covers. When I first took it out of the package, it did indeed look like it might be flimsy, but I took my time placing it on my balance board - and it was not hard to install at all! I use my Wii Fit for at least 30 minutes every day and have not had any problems with the cover at all. It stays firmly in place and even provides a little cushion and extra "grippage" as I work through yoga, strength exercises, aerobics, and balance games. I usually workout in my bare feet (I'm the only one using the board), but have worn sneakers a few times without any ill effect to the cover other than scuff marks, which clean up easily. The color is paler and more translucent than it appears in the photo - and I am very pleased with the way it looks. The most important thing is that it does a great job of protecting and preserving the balance board.

  I thought this might be a good idea to have on the board but am disappointed in it. It is fairly thin and ripped a little just getting it on.
  My kids use the board and all the movement has ripped it even more.
  
  It is still on my fit board but only until it rips enough and becomes to loose to do any good. I won't be replacing it.

• Wii sleeve!

  This has been great so far! It went on the balance board really easy and fits snugly. Keeps the balance board clean. I also use the board with bare feet and this is a great non-slip cover. It's also very convenient because it doesn't cover the battery pack, so it's still easy to change out the batteries and sync to a different Wii if you need to.

  This cover ripped when I took it out of the box. It didn't even make it to the balance board. I returned it for full refund.

  I very carefully pulled this thing over the board, and it ripped. It's really shoddily made. Having a newborn around the house, I only got around to seeing about getting my money back 30 days after I got it - too late, I guess. Just a warning not to buy this.
  
  
• Why The Bad Reviews?

  When we got the Wii Fit, I wanted to get a sleeve to protect the board, the same thing I did with my iPod and BlackBerry. I read all of the reviews here on Amazon and was somewhat concerned about ordering this when I read how thin it was, and how it ripped on the initial application. But I figured if it ripped, I would call Amazon to get a refund. I NEVER worry about customer service with Amazon! Well, I got it yesterday, and it is thin, but GOOD thin! To rip this product would take trying to put it on with a tire iron! It went on smoothly and easily. HOW can anyone rip it? I am VERY glad I ordered this, and would recommend it to anyone who would like to keep their Wii Fit Board clean.

  If you've invested in a Wii Fit, this is a must buy. This is a well-engineered silicone sleeve, it fits snugly but is also easy to put on the board. I use my Wii Fit in my bare feet, and this sleeve keeps the board clean and also provides a nice, slip-free cushion. I highly recommend this product to anyone who owns a Wii Fit.

  Well, the Wii Fit is amazingly fun, but gets dirty very easily, and the texture of the surface isn't the easiest thing to clean. So, I ordered this sleeve. Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed. The fit of the sleeve leaves something to be desired. There is some play in the sleeve on the top of the balance board, so it will shift around slightly at times, which can be particularly annoying. It's fairly thin, and doesn't look like it will stand up to intense gameplay. My primary concern is that, given its propensity for slipping around on the board, it might tear.
  
  One other issue. It clips on to the balance board's screw holes, which works great to keep it on the board, but it means you won't be able to use some rechargeable battery packs. For instance Mad Catz's AC charger pack also needs to clip into the screw holes, so you won't be able to use it with this sleeve.
  
  The plus notes. It is softer than the balance board's surface, so it is a bid nicer on the feet. It does clean easier than the balance board itself. And for the curious, the cutout shape does work with the feet extenders, so no issues there.
  
  I'd recommend a sleeve for the balance board, but I'd check into others before I considered this one.

  This product is too thin, and easy to tear.
  Lots of products from this company "CTA" seem to be very poorly made.
  
  I would try something from Mad Catz or Hori instead.
  They both make similar products that get better reviews.

• Wii board cover of a very poor quality

  After reading similar product reviews, I was trying to be careful when I was putting it on, but it still ripped on a side - had to tape it with a scotch tape. Very poor quality material. Also, when I stand on it, my feet sometimes get slippery - it doesn't have any grip. I would not recommend this product.

• Nice Addition to the Wii Fit Balance Board

  The silicone sleeve is a great addition to anyone who has a Wii Fit. The sleeve slips easily over the Wii Fit Balance Board. It's a bit more comfortable than stepping on the board itself without the sleeve.
  
  The only (minor) cons are:
  1. The sleeve tends to "bunch up" when doing the Hula Hoop moves. The sleeve doesn't fit the board like a glove, but at least it keeps the board from getting dirty.
  2. If you use your Wii Fit Balance Board on carpet, loose hairs tend to stick to the sleeve. So, if you have pets or anything like that, you might want to keep a lint roller nearby when playing.
  
  Overall, I'm very happy with it.

  I am very pleased with this product. The board gets dirty very easily, and isn't the most comfortable thing for constant stepping. Once I put this on, I have not had to do much cleaning and it still looks great. It is also much more comfortable on the feet. I had worried it may be slippery, but not at all. I feel more secure with it on. My two little kids use it, and they get a kick out of the glow in the dark feature. We didn't need it to glow, they just think it is cool. It is very easy to put on, very durable (standing up to 2 adults, and 2 small children with almost daily use), and easy to clean when you have to. Love it and recommend it.

  The sleeve is easy to install over the board. It does lift a small amount off the board while playing, but doesn't bother us. I don't know if it will make the board last longer, but that was the reason that I bought it at the same time as I bought the board.

  The cover is great for all it's intent, and it's easy to take on and off. I guess it does protect the FitBoard from dirty feet, but the board can be wiped off anyway...After using the sleeve twice, I had to take it off because it changed the sensitivity of the weight - about 10 lbs lighter then it was without it! I thought at first that I had actually lost 10 lbs, but we "tested" it with and without the sleeve a bunch of times with different people...
  It isn't a big deal to take it off for weight and put it back on afterwards, but it doesn't stay secure very well for some of the exercises like the step aerobics. If you have lots of kids that play the WiiFit, it's probably better to keep this on for them, since it absorbs some of the shock that could damage the board from jumping or whatever.

  First I would like to say that I do not work for Amazon and if you've read the other reviews you know what I'm talking about. I was really nervous about this product because I usually read most of the customer reviews before I buy anything but I didn't have time. So I bought it first then read later. Dumb I know but I was in a hurry. I knew that I could return it with no problem because Amazon had excellent customer service but I was still kinda worried. It turned out there was no reason to worry. This skin is awesome it fits perfectly over the balance board and was very easy to put on. I don't think it is too thin at all and there was no 10 pound weight lose for me like some other reviewers claimed. Darn I was looking forward to reaching my goal without any work at all. :)

  This item is great, my feet was hurting all the time from the plastic of the wii before I got this, with this soft silicon material it just great it keeps my feet comfterble . Plus it helps me keep my wii brand new without any marks or scratches (too bad I got some on there before I got this item)
  It also has a nice stylish design, easy to just put on and get started, I have it for 3 weeks with everyday use and it's just great.

  The silicone sleeve fits the board pretty well and I'm sure it will keep my balance board in good condition. My only complaint is that my feet get sweaty on the rubber and I prefer the feel of the balance board alone.

  The silicone cover made the wii fit board easier on the feet. My husband has sesetive feet and really loves having it. Also the board got dirty easily and with all the little bumps on it made it a little hard to clean, but the cover solves that problem. I think the color also helps hide any dirt that does get on it.

  i bought this because the balance board gets dirty really easy with its white finish and i figured that with this you can take it off and wash it in the sink. for that it works great but for game play its not so great. After having it for a couple weeks it already ripped during normal gameplay, the material is to thin and is not something i would suggest to someone who plays often or has a lot of family members that play.

  Great product. Makes the board easy to keep clean, which is important since we exercise with bare feet. Adds to the feeling of stability and security while using the Balance Board. It feels better on the feet than the bare Balance Board. Could fit a little tighter. Overall, the sleeve is definitely worth purchasing.
