  When using the wii fit, certain exercises in the yoga and strength training parts need you to be on the floor and this can be really uncomfortable if you have a hard wood floor like me or thin carpet. For this I would definitely recommend a yoga mat since if you used just an ordinary blanket or something there would be too much slippage. However, this yoga mat is very overpriced simply because it has "wiifit" written on it. I bought a second mat for only $5 on sale at a sports store that is the same quality and you could get a much better quality premium mat if you really wanted to spend as much as they are charging. So unless you need to have everything branded with Wii Fit on it, go to your local Walmart or Target or local sports store and buy a traditional yoga mat, and I'm sure you could find one in that lime green color too. This way if the Wii Fit does inspire you to continue Yoga professionally, you won't look like a fool when you bring your Wii Fit mat to class!

  It's true you can find a similar yoga mat for $10 but this one is about 4 inches longer, well made, has a nifty velcro strap for quick storage and looks great with the Wii Fit package. It's a bit frivolous, but I'm glad I got it.

  If you can fint a regular yoga mat for cheaper, you should buy that one. this is more because it carries the Wii logo. but this mat is just like every other yoga mat out there.

  Although the Wii Fit works well on carpet alone, this Nintendo licensed product adds some extra comfort and is very durable. Hori has made an awesome accessory to the Wii Fit. Particularly when using it for Strength Training and Yoga this mat is especially useful.
  
  After using this yoga mat you may wonder how you ever used the Wii Fit without it. Well worth the money. A very good buy.

  Since I buy it, I did not use it (well, I did not unlock all the yoga poses that use the mat). I think it was different than the one I use to do pilates but is the same thing. If I will knew, I did not spend the money on it. The thickness is the same, the length and the type of "skin" is also the same. I pay for a mat that says Wii Fit and has a strap with the name on it. That's it.... If you have one in home, use it and do not spend money in this one.

  I bought this as a gift thinking it worked with the Wii Fit. Well, it does work with it "supposedly" but doesn't do anything special other than act as a mat to lay your wii fit board on as you do Yoga.(I should've known better I suppose). Bad Decision. Wouldn't waste money on it again if I had known it was this useless. Also, it says Wii Fit on the mat in the picture - I got a green yoga mat that costs $10 after I paid $27 - don't do it!!

  This is just a yoga mat and its overpriced. Who cares that it is green and has the wii fit logo? you can get simmilar mats for 5$ at your local target

  The mat helps with the yoga moves and to give some padding with some of the strength moves. Any yoga mat would do but this matching mat is a little special.

  The mat does the job - much more comfortable than the floor. However, I am new to yoga so I don't really know what's different about this mat versus a normal yoga mat. Not really much to say about a piece of material! One thing I would say, if you don't mind the hard floor you probably don't want any kind of mat with the Wii balance board as it gets tiring moving the mat and the balance board around.

  While the yoga mat isn't necessary to use the Wii Fit, it does give lots of grip for any of the exercises, especially yoga. Well worth the cost.

  Well, I never did yoga until WiiFit so I never had a yoga mat before, but this one seems to be a good one. It's comfortable when doing the floor yoga position-thingies as the padding is quite sufficient. I like the strap to wrap around it when storing it. Just look for it in the box carefully or you might throw it out by mistake. The green color is very nice, too.
