  This thing is fantastic! It's lightweight, easy to put on, and comfortable. It's also super flexible: I leave the silicone skin on my iPod all the time, and just slip the armband through it when I'm working out. I use it for both weight lifting/working out at the gym, and running with the Nike+iPod accessory. It comes with a screen and click wheel protector, which I put on, and I've had no problems manipulating the device even while running. I've had no problems with the iPod getting sweaty or moist while running.

  When I was shopping for armbands it seemed that many of options that were compatible with the Nike+ sport kit were made of vinyl that made it difficult to manipulate the click wheel and would have left my iPod sweaty and wet after a long run. The Tuneband doesn't have either problem. It comes with a peel-off protector that doesn't interfere with the click wheel and allows the iPod to "breathe" while I run. My iPod is always dry, even after a long run in hot weather. It's fairly easy to remove the silicone skin, but not so easy that I worry about the iPod falling out during a run.

  I've recently purchased Grantwood's armband and think it's great. I had been using the Nike+ system with Nike's armband but my nano got wet from condensation and/or sweat each time. It even froze up on me!! That was enough. Since I've been using the silicone shell from Grantwood, I no longer have a problem. The armband is comfortable, the nano is secure while running and there is an open slot for the Nike chip. Finally, and most importantly, my nano is no longer wet after a run. It can "breathe" and stay dry certainly decreasing the chance for the product to malfunction. Great product at an even better price at less than half what you'd pay for the Nike armband!

  What a perfect little product. A great snug holder for the iPod nano -- it won't slip out. Easy to insert and to remove the iPod. Comfortable on the arm. It's a minimalist masterpiece. They could increase the length of the band a bit for the extra-muscley but for me that's not a problem. A great price and a great product. Highly recommended.

  These guys get it! This is by far the best way to work out with an ipod. I've tried alot of other arm bands for my nano and none come close to this one. It fits well, does not come undone, easy to care for and totally a bargain. Clearly the best.

  Upon opening the package the silicon skin looked like the ipod could slip out after consistent use... of course it doesn't even if it's not completely in the skin. It took some persistence to get it in the skin so this instilled better confidence regarding the large opening at the bottom.
  * the armband is soft and comfortable on the skin but strong enough to not come loose if it catches on clothing, say if you forget to take it off before taking your shirt off.
  * Open slot at bottom of the unit easily accommodates the nike+ transmitter, or the charging cable without having to remove the unit from the skin.
  * Unit doesn't jostle when in use.
  * Good variety of colored skins.
  * Tuneband can be worn on forearm or on bicep.
  * The skin and band look like I just got them yesterday... aka they don't soil easily. And I've been using it for atleast 2wks in the Iraq Desert.
  * Skin allows ventilates of ipod, while the separate band/holder construction prevent transfer of sweat and moisture build up within the ipod. Other ipod bands are made from clear plastic and neoprene, with construction that puts the unit flush against your arm. If your sweat it the neoprene just holds on the sweat and moisture builds inside the holder fogging the plastic screen. I'm fairly certain that moisture like this doesn't promote long life for an ipod.
  * Great Price
  * The one negative comment I have is that I wish there was a cord
  keeper or something for the headphones, so i would have to worry about losing the silicone cuffs to my earbuds all the time, or wrap the cord around the unit.

  I bought this band and the Belkin at the same time because my original Apple-brand armband that I purchased with my Nano degraded and fell apart. The Apple armband had issues staying velcro'd, so I picked what I thought were the two best options out there to try. The Belkin is a nice product, but it's rather small (I'm 6'0", 162lbs...wouldn't say that I'm abnormally large), and the neoprene doesn't stretch. It also absorbs moisture which means after a 10k run, my iPod is wet.
  
  As for the Tuneband, it's terrific! The band is not huge, but the elastic is stretchy (meaning the iPod stays in place without cutting off circulation to the rest of your arm). I was a little skeptical about the silicone case, but it holds the iPod securely, and provides a nice cushion in the event that you drop your iPod. There's no issue with working the controls--they're readily accessible--and you can sync your iPod without removing it from the case.
  
  In summary, when comparing the Apple brand armband, the Belkin and the Tuneband, the Tuneband is by far the best bet!

  The silicone skin is soft and offers plenty of protection and now comes in all kinds of great colors. The screen protector is really easy to put on and does not hinder the click wheel at all. The band is great. It is not permanently attached to the siliskin (silicon skin cover) so you can just pull the band off and your ipod is still protected. The band is soft, comfortable, lightweight and adjustable. It stays in place while your are working, working out and/or running. Your are really getting a great deal. Plus, check out the shoe pouch for those of you that don't want to spend 100+ dollars on new nike+ shoes. All of these products I use on a daily basis while doing housework, working out, running or even at work. Plus, not only do you get a wonderful product from this company but you also get their guarantee and great customer service.

  I purchased this band about a week ago and it works perfectly. I am not a skinny person by any means, you can say that I'm Husky so I have trouble finding products like this to work. But this one works perfectly, its sung on my arm but it is not tight by any means. If you wear your IPOD upside down you don't have worry about your ear phones twisting and falling out. If your looking for an arm band for your IPOD this is the one to get!!!
  
  
• Great Armband for a great price

  I purchased the Nike armband when I first got my Nike+ transmitter. It works okay for me, but I'm not a big person. My husband decided that he wanted to get the transmitter, but his arm would not fit in my armband, and he prefers Asics running shoes. A coworker told me about Grantwood Technology and the transmitter pouches and armbands they offer. I was really excited to be able to order these items for my husband. I ordered an extra pouch for myself as well. Now we both enjoy running together. We can wear the shoes we want, and his Tuneband is perfect. It's much easier to put on than my Nike band. Even if your arm is small enough for the Nike band, it is very difficult to put on by yourself. I spent twice as much for the Nike band, but I think I'm going to order another Tuneband from Grantwood Technology for myself. I love the colors that are available too. My husband went with the understated gray, but I think I'll make a statement with bold pink. :) It will fit perfectly in the sea of pink when I run in the 60 mile 3 Day Walk for the Cure!

  I love the feel of the materials used. My only problem with the band is that it just barely fits my upper arm. I don't think I have huge arms, which means this would not fit anyone with arms bigger than 16" around. Other than that, great product.

  After so-so experiences with several other armbands, I decided to give this one a try. Simply put: it is an excellent product. Given the design, it is extremely flexible. You can can put the closure at any point around your arm and wear the iPod "normal" or "inverted". Further, the armband is very comfortable. As a bonus, the iPod can be docked without removing from the skin and/or armband.
  
  I use it with the Nike+iPod receiver without problem and the click wheel is very easy to use on the run (much easier than many competing products).

  Unlike some other silicon covers and armbands, this one is very good quality! I am not worried at all about it tearing while running with it attached to the armband. The color is great too. It fits nice and snug. It also comes with a couple screen and scroll protectors, which is good since there are cutouts in the silicon for the screen and scroll. All over great product!

  I purchased this on a Saturday night right after ordering my new I Pod Nano. They both arrived on Thursday afternoon. The armband is so comfortable you hardly know it is there! The case that holds the nano is perfect as well. I wear this while running on the treadmill and it stays safe and dry! The colors you have to choose from are also great.   Great armband for the gym, running, etc. Soft stretchy feel to it. Ipod is very secure. Easy access to the wheel without the case getting in the way of you operating the functions. Armband doesn't create or suck in all the sweat like the heavy neoprene ones do. Love it!!

  Doesn't slip, stays comfortably on my arm, and the silicon skin is good even when it's not on my arm (connected to the band). The screen protector is a pain in the butt to put on without getting finger prints on it, but otherwise this was a good purchase.

  I have been using the Grantwood armband for about two weeks and over 50 miles of running. I have no complaints. Once you put the Ipod in the silicon you can leave it there indefinitely. If you need to sync or charge, you can just plug the cable in. I was using a neoprene case, but in the deep south we sweat a lot during the summer. Other materials soak up the sweat and transfer it to the Ipod. Not this. I did read some reviews that said the armband was too small. I have average arms find the band very comfortable. I rarely notice it there. If you do happen to have huge arms it is easy to put a different strap with the silicone cover. The cover is worth the price alone.
