  It's a very good laptop for the price 599$,of course right now it's 699$,but still good for price,I had problem with connecting to internet,but finally I found the problem and fixed that my self,the only problem is that there is lot's of Web page that saved in your desktop,they're advertisement for software,also there is lot's of trial software that make your computer speed down,so I spent 4 hours on the first day to clean all of these trashy software,now it works great,the color is pretty too.The cooling system is marvels,you never find laptop hot,however AC adaptor get hot,but according to catalog it's ok.

  I was looking for a basic laptop I could use for, work, down loading music, email, and searching the web. The Toshiba works great for all that.
  This is my first laptop and for the price I paid for it($599.00) I'm very happy with it overall. A couple of minor problems though. The dvd/cd drive would not work right out of the box. Had to call toshiba support to get it fixed. They were very helpful and it only took a few minutes on the phone. They had me delete some filters in the registry and then the drive worked.The other thing I don't like is the ac adapter gets very hot in a short period of time. Also, it comes loaded with a bunch of software you don't need. However, in spite of all that I like the machine and probably will get one for my wife since she has been asking for a laptop.

  great price for a notebook that does just as good as a Sony VAIO TXN17P tha is only 11.5 inch screen and only 80gb hard drive with a price tag of almost $2000

  I purchased this computer for a friend and it came from tiger direct. Two days after ordering it and it was still on the way, they lowered the price by $100. I called them and they would not refund the difference. When the computer came, it was in a box with deflated pillow wrap on one side only and the computer in its own box was flopping around due to no packing material in the shipping box. I was unhappy with this and the box was crushed a little on the outside. They should pack their computers better, at least put in air pack that have air in them.. I was very unhappy with the whole process, and I will never buy anything from this company......
