  Overall, I've been getting more and more disgusted when I purchase jeans. I mean, I'm not a teenager so I am simply not interested in torn up, faded jeans that cost as much as a car payment. I also have seen the trend towards really thin fabrics, like jeans are just for looks, and durability is no longer something that is high on the list of desirable qualities. The Levis brand is one that I feel like I can always come back to and have a decent sense of what I'll get. I will say that the fabrics have gotten thinner over the years, but are still generally thicker and better manufactured than the other jeans I have tried. I have ordered two pairs of the 550s (Med stonewash) and have been pleased with the color. We have a relaxed dress environment at work and I can wear them without looking like I'm trying to emulate the style of a 15 year old.

  PRO: Nice product, will wear it to work everyday. Fabric is not so thick but fairly good quality. Arrived on time. Could be $5.00-$10.00 cheaper. I guess the LEVIs name has some value to it. The color is very black and not faded as the picture implied. Over time and many washes it will eventually fade (or bleach it out slightly). The overall fit is excellent. It's not one of those fancy jeans that fits too short or weird. Very comfortable to wear.
  
  CON: I could get a COSTO (Kirkland brand) w/c is a better quality for less. Anyway I am generally happy with the purchase.

  The product is just a Levi 550 jeans, which most people are familiar with. They came from the Charleston Department Store in Charleston, West Virginia. I originally received Levi 560 jeans in error but when I called them, they sent the correct ones immediately along with a pre-paid UPS envelope to return the incorrect ones.   As usual, my shopping experience with Amazon was top notch.
  Got the Levi's 550's for my husband, and he was wearing them immediately.
  He was so happy that they'd arrived that he didn't even wait for me to wash them first! The stitching is tight and flawless, the fit is perfect,just as expected, and the price is right. Oh,and there was no dye transfer to his undergarments even though he wore them before a first washing. Straight from the packaging they were soft and very comfortably wearable. Since being washed a few times now, the fit remains PERFECT,
  no fading, and the stitching remains tight and flawless.
  Over-all, as usual, another "Nothing could have been any better" shopping

  the only reason I rate this a 3 is because of the fact of the change in the date and it being late for christmas. otherwise my husband likes the jeans and they fit nice and they are confortable.

  I have been a 550 relaxed fit levi wearer for over 15 years. I have had quite a few pairs and they last forever. Recently my favorite pair (over 6 years old) ripped beyond repair. And decided it may be time to get new and a size larger..I was extremely happy that the cut of these pants hasn't changed a little snug in waist and loose in the legs. So now I have 4 new pair that are soooo comfortable and look nice (the black jeans pass as dress pants)I have had no real luck finding womens jeans that fit like this so this message is for women who want a nice, comfortable fitting jean to try this style..   I guess they're called "pants." Very cool. My feet stick out the end ... is that normal? The crotch doesn't go to my knees (look, I can run like a man!) and my belt loops work, so I don't have to rely on my underware elastic. Thank you for selling the product I purchased.

  These are great! They arrived quickly, and are just what i wanted. It's so hard to find my husbands size in these jeans at local department stores. This made it SO much easier -- and cost about the same (even with S&H) as i'd pay at a retail-store, when i CAN find them!
