A Great Product With 1 Caveat

I assumed, incorrectly, that because this looked like the type of pull-up bar that mounts on a door without screws that it was. It isn't. You have to screw two clamps in with four screws. That's my fault for making a wrong assumption.
However, I'd like to be able to not put holes over my doors, and move the bar from doorway to doorway. So that's a design drawback from my perspective.
That being said, the bar is very nice and very sturdy. Its configuration allows for a number of hand positions. It states very clearly not to use the device for inversion.
Very good - and saves a lot of space

I bought this bar after trying a different brand; This bar is heavy duty and works great. Also, another benefit over the other bar I was using earlier, are the different grip options.

No complaints with this bar at all.. it fits securely in the doorway, and you can do pullups with a wide variety of grips. The price is right, too. Great product.
Didnt fit my door

This didn't fit my door. The bar otherwise looks excellent.
Too much trouble to pack and ship and return, so hope your door
fits it. I thought my door would work with the specs shown on Amazon,
but it is quite difficult to tell due to the curvature of the handles.

Great product. Im 210lbs and it has held up for the last 90 days without a budge. Solid, easy to take down and put back up! I have worked out with it on the p90x program (great program) and it has done great for my back and strength training. Best product for the money spent. Enjoy!

The P90X Chin Up Bar does a good job of of making any doorway a great pullup bar workout area. Construction of the bar which comes in various lengths of metal bars was intuitive, but it also comes with step by step instructions if needed. The bar was reasonably sturdy for my weight of 175 lbs. and allows close grip, medium grip, and wide grip pullups. Whether someone weighing much over 175 lbs. (say 200-250 lbs.) would put too much stress on the bar is a concern. You can leave the bar up or take it down after each workout, which is very convenient if your workout area is also your living area.
- DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!

This product is available for $[...] plus $[...] s&h direct... and that's on the expensive end. DON'T PAY MORE! You can find even better deals on Amazon for new, never used.
First of all... the photo currently shown is crappy and too small. Having said this, the product looks really good when you can actually see it.

The New York Barbell company has a similar product, as does Everlast... if they will work for boxers and weightlifters, they'll work for you!
My rating for this product is based on how it compares to similar products available at a similar price. Do your research!
After seeing good photos of this product, and seeing photos of it in use, I have decided to give it a try. I'll let you know more about it when it gets here.

I think this product is great, strong enough to hold me and do the exercise with confidence of not falling down.

It was easy to assemble. Nice fit and finish. It works well for my 170 lbs. I bought it for the number of grip options it offered. Glad I bought it. The broad V of my back is coming in good...Something that I've futilely been trying to do with my lat pulldown cable. I'm almost 48 years old.

It looks great but I wanted something that was portable - door to door, where ever I was, home or at the fire station. This has brackets that it hooks on, meaning, NOT PORTABLE! I didn't see it in print anywhere and am disapointed.
