Awesome PSP Slim Case

When I purchased my PSP a month ago, I realize I needed to protect my investment fast. I found it hard to find a suitable case at my local stores and game shops. I didn't just want a carrying case that everyone was selling, I wanted something that would protect the PSP from scratches, dust, dings, etc during everyday play. After searching online, I found the Joytron System Skin Case - Leather Black on Amazon. The product is sturdy and smooth. It was simple to attach, so long as you aligned the little brackets. It doesn't make my PSP Slim feel bulky. All ports, buttons, and memory stick compartment are accessible, and even the UMD cover fits snuggly. The product even came with a stand that you can either clip to a key chain, or to the PSP itself (where you can put the wrist band) although clipping it there is snug. The stand allows you to watch movies without having to hold the PSP in your hands. This case is designed to be a body glove for the PSP--exactly what I was looking for. Now, I wouldn't go throwing my PSP on the ground with the case on just to test out it's sturdiness, but it will do the job of keeping scratches, dust, finger prints, etc off your PSP. This is definitely an excellent buy for me, and for anyone else who owns a PSP slim--for those of you who have the fat PSP, don't fret, Joytron also offers this case version for sale as well. Oh, one more thing, the shipping on this product was fast. I received my product 3 days after I ordered it!

Create way to protect your PSP

I received my PSP slim for my birthday this summer and within a few days I had already dropped it from about 3 feet onto concrete and scratched the case (luckily, it was just a chip). Immediately I started to look for a case to protect my PSP. Most of the skins/cases on the market are either stickers or bulky cases. I was also not interested in a flashy bling-bling case (I am in my 30s and don't care about that so much any more). I like the way the leather looked in the pictures and was impressed with the descriptions of how tightly the case fit to the slim line of the PSP. I was not disappointed in the quality when I received it. As advertised, the fit was exact and tight. The texture of the "leather" provides a nice extra grip and the black goes really well with the silver of the Daxter edition of the PSP. Also, the stand that comes as an extra actually works fairly decent (I am still getting used to it hanging from the wrist strap, which is the only way to carry it so it can be used).

It does what it's supposed to, however does not fit as tightly as possible, but still satisfactory.
Probably the best PSP case available.

What a nice case!!! I've had it for a couple weeks now, and I'm very pleased! Instead of being one big bulky "suitcase" that holds your PSP, the Joytron is a series of interlocking plates that cover the PSP's face, UMD tray, and rear panels. The plates snap together tight, and once secured they aren't lose. They don't click against each other (or the PSP) and they don't shift. They're solid.
The front has an opening for the screen (naturally), and all the controls. Each opening is just enough to do the job and keep the case out of your way; It couldn't be designed to be any less obtrusive- - This thing is THIN.
The UMD cover is quite impressive. It snaps on at the edges, but doesn't interfere with the UMD tray being opened or closed, yet it stays in place. The opening for the memory stick port is well-designed, and allows easy access to the port without a lot of fiddling around.
The one I got has the "leather" exterior, so it's a TINY bit thicker than the standard model (which doesn't have the extra layer of "leather" on it). With the Joytron System Skin Case on my PSP, it's still not as thick as the older model "phat" PSP was! The "leather" has a nice look and feel. It looks like it's part of my PSP.
There's no protection for the screen, but there's room to use a protective film for it and so far it's been fine with one of those in place.
For the price, I do believe this is the best PSP skin/case on the market!
